- Bonisiwe (7/5): We enjoyed staying in at Ilanga Lodge - Room was kept clean and requirements were met. Consider changing the bathroom door
Try to communicate with your visitors on the day to check-in, reminder messages and check in times. Ensure someone is always available at the reception.
- Arvind (5/5): good - Breakfast was great and in a good location Swimming pool needs attention, steps to upstairs units, old needs repair

- mashao (1/5): - The hotel is excellent, with rooms that are spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Overall, it offers great value for money and a truly enjoyable experience. I sustained a serious fall on their outdoor staircase, which left me in significant pain and unable to walk or sit comfortably for several days. The staircase appears to have been painted despite being wooden and exposed to a humid environment. During rainy conditions, it becomes extremely slippery and poses a clear safety hazard.

- Shane (1/5): Absolute rubbish - Nothing Everything. The photos on your page looks nothing like the lodge.....absolute rip off. Didn't even stay there. Pissed off to say the least. Waited, then had to call to book in, get told I must wait, " I am busy" then rushes me because she left her child unaccompanied, like ut my problem. Never again!! Booking.com.....sort this shit out and stop letting people get conned!!

- Chantell (1/5): Non-compliant to electrical standards, extremely dissapointed - I am extremely disappointed with our stay at your facility.
For our own safety, we made the decision to leave the unit and return home after we were shocked several times while inside the unit.
This is a serious safety concern. How can a unit be rented out without a functioning earth leakage protection device? In South Africa, earth leakage protection (Residual Current Devices/RCDs) is required in residential electrical installations to prevent electric shock and fire hazards, and devices must comply with National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) safety standards.
A unit without such protection cannot be certified safe under the required electrical standards.
Furthermore, under the Electrical Installation Regulations (under the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993), the property owner or lessor is responsible for the electrical safety of the installation, including obtaining a valid Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC) before renting the property. Without compliance to the relevant South African National Standards (SANS 10142) for wiring, earth leakage protection, earthing, and bonding, the installation is not legally compliant and poses an unacceptable risk.
The electrician sent out by you confirmed that there is no earth leakage cable installed.
In addition to this:
Several electrical plugs did not work. My husband’s phone was charging and is now no longer charging, deemed broken.
The door is broken.
The tap is leaking and sprays water when opened.
There were bed bugs in the bed.
The swimming pool was extremely dirty.
All of the above is completely unacceptable.
I expect this matter to be taken seriously, addressed urgently, and appropriate corrective action to be taken.

Some buildings needs TLC and swimming pool was green ( it is hot enough here is winter to swim most days). - Dudu (6/5): I think there can be improvements in the overall - Nothing at breakfast at all Breakfast options are limited. Normally breakfast provides a few options ie.
