Guest Reviews
- Onno (7/5): Clean and Very good value for the time of year that I stayed. - What I liked was the comfort and cleanliness of the room. Room was super clean including bathrooms. Soap and Shampoo available. You do need to bring your own hairdryer but overall this was better than I expected for the price. The grounds (grass) are well maintained with the exception of the parking lot. It was unclear where to park due to the lines being not clearly visible on the degraded asphalt.
- Williams (1/5): -
- Pemberton (8/5): -
- RAKUL (5/5): - I only stayed here for few hours. Not any fancy amenities just the bed and washroom with AC thats it. I wouldn’t say bad or best. But good for the price.
- Lori (7/5): -
- Jean (1/5): -
- Romelle (9/5): -
- Harini (5/5): -
- Riley (1/5): didn’t even happen. staff was rude and unhelpful - nothing. there was a slot between 1-2am for check in time. i was driving all day. arrived, door was locked with a phone # pasted to the door. called, they said they had no reservations and i wouldn’t be allowed into the facility past midnight. why is there a slot for a check in time between 1-2am and why was the reservation confirmed if i was unable to be seen? absolute joke of a hotel and it looks trashy too. stay literally anywhere else.
- Shannan (1/5): Couldn’t check in after midnight - We were charged and weren’t allowed to check in Couldn’t check in
- Jordan (5/5): -
- Anthony (2/5): - There was limited outlets or USB outlets, shower toilet and fixture was heinous. It was just good for sleeping basically.
- Terrence (3/5): -
- Christine (8/5): - Sink did not drain. Shower head did not provide nice spray pattern. Air conditioner did not keep room cool enough
- Kelly (6/5): - The room was just ok. The light bulb in our bathroom was out and we were told it would be replaced in the morning. So a whole evening with no bathroom light.
- Robin (4/5): - Not what i expected from prior reviews. I did not feel safe.
- Mill (1/5): -
- Tyler (4/5): Never again. - It served its purpose for the short notice. There were no towels, no mini fridge, the air conditioner was lacking, ceiling tiles were either broken or missing, and the tub would not drain while taking a shower.
- Amanda R (5/5): Very friendly staff. Rooms are functional, not pretty. - The service was amazing - very friendly. Both the check in desk and the cleaning staff were super kind. The value was great - and I was very fortunate to find a room at all on Purdue Move In weekend. It was only an 8 minute drive to campus - which was great. I waited until the last minute to book - so this was only affordable place available. Everything was functional - just not aesthetically pleasing. Served the purpose - I just needed a place to sleep from 11pm to 6 am. I wish there had been a secondary lock on the door - deadbolt or chain lock. There was not any soap or shampoo or conditioner - not even to wash hands. The description may have said this - I should have read closer. The carpet was questionable, so I kept my shoes on.
- Jackson (10/5): - Get what you pay for
- Wayne (10/5): - Very impressed with the room decor and cleanliness. Pleasantly surprised.
- Delinda (4/5): - There was no staff on sight. Just a sign with a phone number to call. Felt unsafe at night with no one on duty in case of an emergency.
There was an iron, but no ironing board. No microwave. Very inconvenient.
- Cole (1/5): I would never book this POS hotel ever again - Nothing Parking lot was garbage, they close up by 12am for check in.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Pieter (8/5): Excellent value - Excellent value for money. It's an older building, but that's what makes it possible to keep the price down. Negative reviewers had unrealistic expectations.
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathy (6/5): - Check out suppose to be at 11am, my husband went to get coffee, glad I stayed at motel bc when he got back at 10:45 his key card did not work!
- Kenny (10/5): - Everything was good
- Brewer (9/5): Superb - The room was clean . It had hot water and heating and cooling.
. It was old and dated. Furniture looks like someone found it in the alley. There was no flat screen tv. It was an RCA TV from the eighties. Also, I called the front desk for a microwave.
- Macon-clay (1/5): Bad - The area are good The price of the stay and the room are not updated like it says on the website the bathroom have water leaking everywhere and the manger of the property say it's nothing he can do or go elsewhere
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhonda (5/5): Went to sleep with our own blankets from our truck it was so cold in room and we didn’t even think about a shower becaus - You had to call just to get into the office and had to wait 15 minutes
The room was constantly cold. Cold enough didn’t take showers
- Macon-clay (1/5): Bad -
- Mohammad (2/5): - You get what you pay for:
Broken windows,
Bathroom leaking,
Rude staff
- Stacy A. (6/5): - We went to attend a Purdue football game and all the hotels were far more expensive than they deserved to charge. Holiday Inns for $300? All to watch Purdue get creamed (as seems to be the going trend these days.)
This hotel was $159 with taxes and fees and I seriously felt as if we were checking into what once was a storage facility. Dumpy and on a normal day if I was forced to stay here I would run or pay no more than $75 per night (and that's being generous)
There are no safety latches on the door and while the interior was surprisingly clean (which was no indication from the NO-Tell- HOTEL vibes the exterior set off) I slept surprisingly well. The beds were double yet not altogether uncomfortable. I'd only choose to stay here if it was a last resort or knowing what I know now about it the rates were much less than what they were asking.
- Katherine (4/5): Definitely a budget stay. - The gentleman working the front desk was kind and helpful. Heater wasn’t working in the first room and the 2nd one would not work easily. Needs updating. The chair was peeling and there was a large crack in the wall above the toilet.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- John G (4/5): - Will never stay again
- Elliott (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joanee (5/5): Passable - Peaceful and staff are efficient
- Nickolas (3/5): Poor -
- Charles (7/5): Good -
- Kenneth (7/5): Good - Rooms clean, nice towels Outside looks a little sketchy
- Joselynn (2/5): - Nasty room
- Dorothy (10/5): - It met our needs for a safe, clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay without a lot of extra amenities that we did not need.
- Sandra (10/5): It was great! - It was perfect for the ND/Purdue game! The rooms were super clean and comfy! It doesn’t look so good from the outside, though the rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfy! We would recommend and stay again!
Thank you!
- paige m (6/5): - Property was conviently located from the interstate but was a decent distant from food and grocery. Its a quiet area but the property seemed run down. Room was nice size but parking wasnt the best. When contacting the property the person who answered the phone was ryde
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Jill (8/5): Very good -
- Suresh (6/5): - Decent location.close to Purdue.not busy during bgr (Purdue orientation).
Manager needs to be in the office 24*7. Strange to have to call a number when I reached at 1.00pm
- Anand (8/5): Good value for money, close proximity to PU -
- XIAO TAO (2/5): - Room not clean, make sure you keep your belongings with you as they can assign your room to someone else without being noticed.
- Cruz (8/5): It went fine. I got my rest. - No breakfast It needs some repair work. The bathroom tiles, and the door lock need fixing.
- Regen (6/5): - Limited services even with check out and check in
- Leigh (4/5): Disappointing -
- Chris (2/5): - This is the same old hotel from 25yrs ago and they haven’t done anything to fix them up opened up the door to enter and bam the old stale smell hit u like a fist the only good thing I noticed was that the water was extremely hot if u wanted that
- Cierra (1/5): HORRIBLE SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE && WAS LEFT OUTSIDE ALL NIGHT!! I EVEN PREPAID - That after a family emergency situation, with single room needed I was thrilled I could still book.... And then enter crotchety rude owner Wasn't allowed into my room even though it was only 2 hours after I booked it due to the fact that it was 307 a.m. and apparently you can't check in after 3:00 a.m. the room was prepaid and I was well aware that I had to be out at the exact same time that I would have been out had I checked in earlier in the day and I would have been there was no necessity for it whatsoever there's a family emergency and I needed that room for the night because of an unexpected situation and was thrilled that I was able to book one paid for it and then got there and when I got there I was turned away because it was 7 minutes past 3:00 a.m. which you can't find anywhere in their policies or anywhere else that you can't check into your room after 3:00 a.m. especially when it was only 2 hours after I booked it! Ridiculous. Was literally out on the street for the night because of this man and his need to control things and on top of that he was rude there was just a note plastered on the door with all the doors locked even though they were open so they don't even have a night clerk you can get a way better room right down the road for $20 or $30 sometimes even $40 cheaper than this hotel and this is how he's going to treat his customers. I won't be back. And the quote unquote newly renovated room still look like they're from 1979.
- David (6/5): Good economical place to stay. Convenient location for Purdue events. -
- Stephen (4/5): - Very poor. For the $130 a night I was charged this “hotel” had nothing to justify the price. It was clean and the front desk clerk was friendly.
- Dean (8/5): Mind your business - Quiet Smelled like a smoke room
- Noname (1/5): Bad - I booked my room and called the front desk to confirm and they told me they didn’t have anything available
- Mary (8/5): - The rooms are a good size, beds were comfortable & bath was big. The mini fridge was very mini & it's sitting on the floor, fortunately my back wasn't acting up so I could bend down to use refrigerator. No amenities & ice machine wasn't working.
- Franklin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (1/5): Bad -
- Zubair (3/5): Poor - No Microwave in room. Less Facilities.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The deadbolt did not actually bolt into the doorjamb. There was no lock on the bathroom door. There were burn holes in the bedspread.
- Grater (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (6/5): Pleasant - The space was clean and fresh. We arrived at 1 am and the staff was very accommodating of our late arrival. There wasn’t any noise from the neighbors. The room was very cold as the heat wasn’t on and the fridge wasn’t plugged in which made the start less convenient. The door has gaps around the frame, so the cold drafts continued and made the bathroom a chilly experience.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overprice for low quality - Not modernized at all. Toilet woudnt flush, no fresh towels. Inside door handle was coming off the door. Piece of tiles from the ceiling is missing or on a coffee table. The room carpet was clean. The bed was comfortable once you set the room temperature correctly. It was nice and quiet.
- Jared (1/5): Bad -
- Jackson (1/5): Bad - Room shower didn’t work room top floor was coming apart bathroom was nasty didn’t expect that could have been way better need work on hotel room
- Christy (6/5): Last minute booking.. so it did the job.. -
- Henriott (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never go again!! - It was nasty!!
- Jana (7/5): Good -
- Harris (2/5): We won"t stay there again. - no breakfast offerings. An electric kettle to boil Hot water and tea & coffee packets were notably absent. a microwave oven would have been appreciated as well. The entrance to the property is extremely bleak. It gave the appearance of possible illegal activity. when we were waiting for our ride to leave one other "guest" made us very uncomfortable walking back and forth asking for cigarettes & other items. I suppose the television shows were good. see the above
- Oluwatosin (1/5): Bad -
- Patricia (5/5): Passable -
- Megan (4/5): Stay far, far away! - The room was garbage. Not worth the hefty price at all. The rates are obviously jacked up for the football game. I will not be back to this hotel chain. See above
- Kevin (8/5): - Pretty good place overall, could use some improvements though.
- Steve (3/5): Poor - Room was smelly, had holes in ceiling
- Steven (3/5): Poor -
- Jason (2/5): - Horrible place
- Richards (1/5): Bs - The staff was friendly They didn't honor your raise and you guys never fixed it
- Hyde (9/5): fine would use them next yr too - price right and was all I needed did not need at spa weight room breakfast confrence room nothing was fine did what I wanted and no more or less
- Taha (4/5): - It is a place where a person could barely survive. No staff present at the office. No microwave, no iron, no breakfast. The room did look clean, especially the carpet. The manager was unsupportive, rude over the phone, creepy surrounding, couldn’t get out for a walk. Overall wouldn’t repeat my stay ever. Not worth the price.
- James (1/5): Bad - Cheapest place in town, but scariest place in town. It smelled like cigarettes and very outdated.
- Donna (2/5): Poor - Smoke alarm disconnected, deadbolt was not working, dirty carpet, 1 bath towel.
- Bobbie (6/5): - Holes al over in the walls. Had to call a number because office was locked to check in. It was less expensive than some parked right in front of our door.
- Thomas E (10/5): - Basic motel services
- Debra (5/5): Passable -
- Lisa (1/5): Never EVER would I recommend this place - Didn’t eat breakfast. Tub was clean Tv only had half a screen. Door lock was broken so we couldn’t lock our door. Bed sheet had burned stain on it.
- Jean (2/5): - Holes in the wall
- Lucas (8/5): - The guy at the desk was super friendly & helpful and the room was very clean. However there were sketchy people hanging around the property and I wasn’t liking the vibe. We checked in around noon and got the key, there was a weird guy eyeballing us in the lobby. We got there late after the football game and after looking around actually decided to turn the key in & make the drive home.
- Miss (3/5): Adequate - It’s cheap Dated and I slept on top of the bed with my own comforter. It was clean but ragged. You get what you pay for. If you need a cheap room you could do worse.
- Christine (5/5): We got what we paid for for one night. The outside needs work inside was clean but outdated. No one in office at all tim - Convenience for why we were there in area. It was run down on the outside. Needs some work
