- Scott (9/5): We've been coming to seaside 1x a yr for 10 years, never stayed @the same place twice,but could here - The location is absolute 🔥. Front desk on check-in was great. The covered, cement wall-separated parking lot is the best I've ever experienced in -any- hotel parking lot anywhere in NJ, there's absolutely ZERO chance your car gets hit there. the hi-def TV and TV channel selection available were nice. The car-wash type shower was incredible. Air conditioner blew cold. Beds were comfortable. Place was clean. It's a bit of a "no-frills" hotel, there's really no good vending machines, no indoors sitting area, no ice machine, no WiFi, no room coffee maker, there's no where to walk onsite to get a view of the ocean when you stay on ground level like we did. They hit you with a deposit of $200 upon check-in, as if the room didn't have the "Big Lots" or "Ollie's"-quality microwave, chairs, towels, and fridge that barely fits two sandwiches and a six pack of beers.

Even seeing her interactions with other customers... she was very attentive and made sure her customers were happy. I will be back there for sure. I am picky normally, of course it's on the boardwalk... so I give it a 10, rooms may not be fancy but they are updated and clean, very clean! I have stayed at resorts that were not as clean as the Aztec. Bedding is clean, towels, and bathrooms! No complaints at all!

- Heather (4/5): Excellent location, no amenities, no ice machine, no laundry and no help from anyone - The location was excellent, right on the boardwalk with beach access The parking, there wasn’t any. Parking garage underneath the building fit maybe a dozen cars. When I went back to the front desk to ask about parking, the woman said she was leaving soon and we could take her spot. We waited 10 minutes and she never came so we drove around the block and came back and there was another car that parked there! No one told us that there was additional parking a block away that was free. We almost parked in a lot that charged a lot of money.

- Jonathan (6/5): All in all, for a beach motel is wasn’t bad. Will give it another shot next year. - You can’t beat the location. The pool was very clean. The maid was very nice and did a good job. Check in was easy. They let us check in early and my daughter was able to swim before 2pm. Check out went smoothly. The room we had was just super beat up. AC rattled. Toilet paper holder was falling off wall. Headboard wasn’t attached to bed. And the shower remodel was horrible. It didn’t help that whoever had the room before us must have been chain smoking in the bathroom and the whole place had a faint scent of nicotine. They sent the maid back in but there was nothing more she could do and they were at full occupancy so we couldn’t change rooms.

- Bashira (6/5): Just OK! - We got a King Room for only $95, which was worth exactly the price. It was practically on the boardwalk, so the location was perfect. The building also came with one free parking space, which was the absolute best thing about our stay. There was only an overhead light at the door, and not over the bed, which was a bit strange. The pillows were thin and a bit uncomfortable. The one thing I absolutely didn't like was that the door didn't quite fit the frame and we had to slam the door in order to shut it which is unnecessarily loud.

Putt putt/waterpark, carnival and games all rite across from you. Lock on door for rm 215 kept coming loose making hard to open and shut door properly. Also signs for no smoking posted all over but hallways smelled like dead skunk😉😉 entire time

The hotel is right on the boardwalk so the location is optimal. The staff is outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony in our room provided a nice light show at night with the Ferris wheel, see photo. The hotel has a second floor balcony overlooking the boardwalk and beach, sse photo. The hotel is showing some signs of age, the A/C unit in the room had a hard time keeping us cool.

I would not recommend this hotel on your site. We use your site frequently when traveling....this place was a zero!

While the interior of the room was modernized, the furniture and beds ARE in NEED of being replaced. Very old and worn looking. The mattress extremely lumpy. The beds were completely made differently which made me think that they might have been slept in prior to my arrival and never had the sheets changed! Tub drain yukky and held water. AC unit fabulous and cold! Hallways horrible and needs to be remodeled. Terrible parking, had to walk a couple of blocks from parking lot. Elevator needs to be changed out. Buttons not working properly. Excellent location facing Casino Pier. Lobster Lounge restaurant..excellent! Fabulous ice machine in lobby. Would stay there again!!!

The hotel was old, not taken care of, almost tripped a few times on bumps and cracks in concrete, and the other guests were loud/noisy, and a little sketchy. I will not be back.

- Derek (6/5): - The Aztec used to be a hot spot to stay at while at seaside. That ended about 10 years ago. The property is run down , they still ask for a 200.00 deposit and the air tin the restaurant and the rooms need updating . Lastly the shower which looked fancy didn’t work. When I checked out at 10am which is a hr earlier than almost all the other places in town. She didn’t even apologize or offer another room for a hr to shower only said ok then walked away.

Room was clean besides under the beds needs some tlc. Would have been nice for a coffee pot in room but everything is walking distance or a quick drive that it was ok. Too cold for the pool but the pool was clean. right on boardwalk so made it easy to come and go especially with a five year old. I would definitely stay here again

Bathroom fixtures appeared to have been updated recently but the towels weren't. I know, sounds weird, but I like a nice towel when I get out of the shower. Pool chairs were uncomfortable. I saw at least 3 different styles, one was cracked. I got our beach chairs and we used them at the pool. The pool was clean but areas around it needed attention. Signs were confusing, some handwritten on cardboard, gates bent or crooked. There was a drain clean out in the parking garage leaking, don't know what it was. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, but some attention to details would have made it better.

Overall our time was excellent except for the noise At 4:30 in the morning people were heard yelling and screaming. Woke us up.

- Katie (4/5): Next time I’ll spend the extra money and stay at a diffrent hotel. - I liked how it was close to the boardwalk and beach The bed was very uncomfortable and made noise every time I moved or rolled over. It was super hard to get comfortable. Also the bath rub was dirty and would really have been cleaned. Also the bar the hold the shower curtain fell down numerous times while showering. The tub was too gross to even try and want to bath my 4 month baby.
- Tonimarie (10/5): Mom's birthday was a success!!!! - The room was gorgeous, so was the view of casino pier. The front desk person was kind and courteous. Will definitely be staying year after year. The only ice machine was on the first floor and we were staying on the third floor. Yeah there was an elevator but still there should be an ice machine on all floors.
- Brianna (8/5): Fair - Ants in hotel room. Toilet leaked. Told staff and nothing was done about it. They told me to not book through hotels.com because they can’t guarantee open rooms so they had to move things around to find a room even though we booked weeks prior and put a deposit.

- veronica (1/5): - Everything is just old no updates. Was there all the time pre covid. The place looks worse now. The rooms are dirty some of the staff very rude. For the amount of money you pay I'll never go back
