- Robert (10/5): Worth the steep stairway climb - Beautiful property on the shore of St. Lawrence River. We stayed in Cabin #1, which was clean, kitchen adequately equipped. Only caveat is this cabin is at the base of a surprisingly long stairway (we were told cabin was accessed by stairs, but not this many!), so moving in and out of the unit required significant aerobic ability. Also living room is oddly narrow, not a great family gathering area. But, wow! the view. We’ll definitely return, but stay in another cabin (hopefully #3, which is better laid out).
- Timothy (10/5): - Very convenient. Quick and easy check in and check out. We came during off season, would be a perfect place to stay for high season. Will come back and recommend to others.
- Angel (10/5): You wont be disappointed - This was an amazing first stay at Angel Rock. Our cottage was cozy and the perfect size for our ladies getaway. We had everything we needed. Amazing views for the living area and outside deck. Beds were comfortable, only downside was the bottom sheet and mattress pad come off fairly quick after getting into bed. Area was very quiet and relaxing. Look forward to future stays with Angel Rock.

- Rachel (10/5): Great stay! - Another year at Angel Rock for family fun!! Any concerns we might have had were handled quickly and professionally, and not even worth mentioning. However, I wish the pool that is supposedly OPEN was open, or that how it all worked was explained on check in. It was a treat we were looking forward to, so the “Closed” sign was a disappointment to the family.

- Ray (10/5): Great views, dated cottage. - Cabin 24 has fabulous, on river, views. The cabin itself is a bit dated (siding, deck, ADA ramp need major work). Staff friendly and helpful. Bedrooms (3) are a bit of a squeeze. However, spacious kitchen/dining/living room.

- Susan (10/5): - Our accommodation was super clean and well stocked. The reception was very kind and communication excellent. I must have missed on the website that they want you to bring your own towels, shampoo, etc. but the staff accommodated us. They provided towels and also ground coffee when asked. I gave the surrounding are a neutral because on the same property are mobile homes, which detracts from the area. But we had a gorgeous view of the St Lawrence and amazing sunsets. I recommend request your unit to be directly along the shore.

- Phyllis (8/5): St Laurence stay - Unit was clean and comfortable but they don’t usually have one night stays and there were no bath towels in the unit they said people bring their own which I found kind of unusual. They brought us towel and a coffee pot which also was missing. There was a digital lock but it did not lock as far as we could tell. There were all sort of directives about cleaning our unit and taking out the trash but no information on the door lock.?
- Jay (10/5): Great Family Weekend Stay - Very clean and easily accessible cottages. Waterfront very peaceful with great views of the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario. Lots of option on the property to keep busy with a family. Location is nicely situated next to many state parks, Clayton, and Alexandria Bay. The entire family had a great weekend.

I'd love to see larger bumpers / boat protection devices in the marina. The corrugated steel walls are tough to deal with when docked there.
- Sue (6/5): - There was a nice view of the water, but the bees and heat were too much to sit outside. There was no parking near our cabin, very difficult. Hard to maneuver the various levels of walkway to get to the cabin. When we first arrived there were little bugs all over the ceiling. Floors needed cleaning especially bathroom and rug area. A recliner was broken. Couch was really dusty. A kitchen cupboard was completely sprung. Bedroom area was nice. People were nice. There were bottles scattered on the ground near the ramps. It was difficult to figure out how to get to the water.

What I did mind was the super early check out time of 9 AM!!!! And there was nothing for sale... not even hostess Twinkie’s or potato chips on the property.... and no grocery store or fast food place for miles.
- melissa (6/5): Angel Rock 1 Bedroom Cottage - Lovely setting with a river view, but bed was not very comfortable and towels, toiletries, etc were not provided. Manageable for one night, but inconvenient. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful with directions. $150 for one person for one night was rather steep for September.

- Christopher M (10/5): Great place for a getaway. - We got a call the day before our arrival asking if we would like a free upgrade to a 5 bedroom 3 bath house. We took it and are very pleased that we did. Very spacious and it was great having a kitchen and grill we could use to make meals. Only down side was that they do not provide bath towels or wash cloths. We didn't know that before we arrived, so we had to go buy a few. Everything else was great and a very friendly staff. There are plenty of dishes and cook ware, so making meals was easy. Location is great too.
- Stephen (8/5): Nice, comfortable place - We stayed in a small cabin on the waterfront and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating and the cabin was well equipped. We would probably prefer that the property was more of a "hotel style" that had housekeeping provide the cleaning at the end of your stay and that toilet paper, kleenex and towels were provided, but the resort is quite clear that this is not the case. No fault on their side; just a personal preference. We would go back if we were going to stay in the area again.

- Cathy (10/5): - We had unit 30 which was a trailer but you would never know it. It was gorgeous. There were just the two of us but 4 would be comfortable and likely even 6. I cannot say enough about the unit. Right on the St. Lawerence. BBQ on the porch and everything you would need. Check out was an early 9:00 but they gave us till 10:00. The park itself was cute. The pool seemed crowed with kids so we didn’t go there. The Adirondack chairs on the porch were super uncomfortable- this is my only complaint. The site is close to both the towns of Clayton and Cape Vincent where we found the people so friendly and helpful.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Stunning location - We stumbled upon Angel Rocks, looking for somewhere to stay overnight. Within ten minutes of arriving, we had decided to stay for a second night! The photos on their website don't do justice to this beautiful, peaceful location. Will definitely be back and plan on staying longer!
- Judith (10/5): Beautiful Views - My husband and I stayed 5 days. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished. We only had to bring our towels and food. It is located in the perfect spot to get to anyplace in the 1000 Islands. Cape Vincent is a particularly beautiful spot. The road to the Tibbits Lighthouse is a lovely ride. So quiet on our cabin deck, we loved to sit out and read and listen to the water. My only suggestion would be an umbrella on the decks. The sun was on them all day.

The AC didn't work in the cottage so it was hot to begin with as opened up some windows and the sliding glass door didn't have a screen so there were a lot of tiny bugs that came in so we had to close the door up! Check in was easy and fast again the lady was very friendly and helpful! Even offered us towels for the bathroom! Would love to come back
- shirley (4/5): No Beding sheet on sofa bed. Completely misleadin. - I am very disappointed by this kind of vocation cape. Price is high comparing to the condition of the unit. It really hurt the reputation of Expedia. I am not using Expedia. It doesn't specify this unit is non refundable. Very bad experience!
