• Beverly (10/5): - We were a party of 12. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and accommodating. There were several teenagers in the rooms above us however, that were loud and rowdy until midnight. One of our friends complained to the front desk. They were told to quiet down, but they didn't until almost 1 am. Whoever those kids were from, (over a dozen of them) did not represent their school/group well and I told them that the next morning. One of the adults with them reprimanded them, but some of our group got little sleep.

• Oliver (8/5): Good basic place with some nice features - Good place with large room at a reasonable price. Portable AC unit in the bedroom was loud. Nice area to eat but breakfast selections very limited. Staff very helpful and friendly.
• Lori (10/5): - The decor fit well with the Glacier Park area, i.e., huge lobby with floor to ceiling fireplace, arching open staircase and tasteful wild animals displays. Fresh simple self serve salad in the evenings from 5-7 included.

Not a good first impression. The hotel is okay. Salad bar offered for dinner is a very limited and we did not eat there. Breakfast is okay.

We had issues with the WiFi which did not become available until the morning after our one night stay, even then the service was patchy. Breakfast was quite basic & only paper plates & disposable cutlery provided…single use plastics!!

Stunning lobby, large breakfast area with attached sunroom, HUGE rooms (if a bit under decorated), a glorious shower with endless water pressure!!! Superior front desk staff. Everything very clean! Would highly recommend this place!!! Quiet and safe, too!!!
• Janice (4/5): - Inside common area is nice, but I was not expecting the property to be inside a trailer park in an industrial area. It was also discomforting to be the only guests on an otherwise busy summer week before 4th of July. Definitely not worth the price.

The staff were really nice and accommodating as well. The coffee in the morning is the best, but the rest of the breakfast was just what I was looking for. Would definitely return!

Tastefully decorated like a hunter's cabin with conveniences and a beautiful enclosed all-glass garden room common area with a number of tables for eating or relaxing. It was raining so the rivulets poured down the curved glass roofing to the ground like waterfalls! The staff were friendly and helpful.

• YANET (8/5): - The place was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was ok, the room was adequate and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was the location. You have to go thru a trailer park and an RV Park making it a bit unsafe. However, it was quiet and no one bothered us.

• Mike L (10/5): Awesome little hotel - This little hotel is awesome, very very clean, comfortable and very safe. The staff was tremendous, great people. The breakfast was very good, sausage, eggs, biscuits and cereal, waffles, oatmeal. The room was great, large, comfortable, the bed was also very comfortable. When you first arrive, the trailer park that you drive through can give this hotel a bad vibe, but looks are deceiving, it was very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, we stayed 4 days. We highly recommend this hotel.

• Chris (10/5): A Hidden Gem - We had a wonderful stay. It was very quiet and serene. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to drive through a mobile home/RV park to get to it, but it is very well worth it. If we get back to Kalispell, this is where we will stay.
• Steven (4/5): Drive past mobile homes and stuffed bison 3/10 - Our planned hotel didn't work out so we had to scramble to find a hotel on an event weekend - a big task. Luckily the GVI had rooms so we drove through a neighborhood then into the RV mobile home campground in order to get to the hotel - a memorable drive. Here are the good and the bad points of the hotel - from our viewpoint - GOOD: Hunter worked with us under trying circumstances and is a wonderful kid....they serve a tasty hot breakfast and dinner though we didn't partake in the dinner... BAD: they added air conditioners to rooms that didn't have AC units built in - they sound like small jet engines making sleep possible only if you wear ear plugs....there is no room cleaning/towel exchange/bed service unless you specifically request (we were told at check out to look for signs to that effect- went back and looked - no signs in room). Beware - according to the terribly rude woman at the counter - if you are one minute late checking out she will charge you $20. Ma'am if you leave a sour taste in a customer's mouth at check out they are more likely to rate your hotel versus deleting the rating request. We rated the hotel honestly without emotion - there are some good points and some bad - though next time I would rather sleep in my vehicle. The RV park and mobile home campground was not sketchy but the gas station across the street was, to include the guy yelling while wearing a court ordered ankle monitor. It was a memorable stay to be sure.

• Charles (10/5): - Awesome motel. It was a hard to find place at the back of a mobile home park but was shocked how amazing the place was. Free dinner and breakfast. Only hiccup was the tv didn’t work. They had just changed to a different carrier and was having issues.

• John (10/5): - a unique property that offers gym, game room, breakfast, and quiet quality rooms. It is actually a converted upscale assisted living facility. Staff is excellent. Location to airport and downtown, and nearby quaint villages and trails is a plus. Only negative is the immediate surrounding neighborhood is not so nice with old mobile homes and RVs.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Stay elsewhere. - On a family camping trip, we decided to stay in a hotel that night because it was too hot to go camping. The AC for the room was a portable unit that never cooled off the room to a comfortable level. Found night manager at around 11pm to inform them of the problem and was offered a box fan. She left a note at the front desk for owner to call me. Over $400 for a room with inadequate AC is ridiculous. I never heard from the owner. Called multiple times after leaving and left messages for owner. No reply. Definitely not staying here again or recommending staying here.

The property is a former senior living facility (I know that sounds weird but it is) so the doors do not have the locks that you would expect on a hotel door. There is only one lock and it is just a push button on the lock. Also, the breakfast was disappointing.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff were friendly and helpful, but here was no housekeeping services during our 3 day stay. So we had to ask for more toilet paper and get fresh towels when needed and empty our own trash.
• Paul (4/5): Recommend staying somewhere else - I was way overcharged for what I got. First of all, I originally booked 6 nights for $1900. I canceled one night because they advertised there would be no charge. There was no cancellation charge, but they charged me $380 a night for changing my reservation, plus another $100 for various fees, for a total of over $2000. So I ended up paying $100 more for 5 nights then I would have for 6 nights. I got nowhere when I complained. So for $380 I got no housekeeping, I had to ask the front desk for more soap and clean towels. They acted reluctant to even give me that. I was told “we don’t give long term guests housekeeping” by the owner. I guess 5 nights is considered ‘long term’. Also, the place is in a hole surrounded by rundown mobile homes. I recommend looking for other place to stay in Kalispell.

• William (10/5): A pleasant surprise! - First impressions can deceive. To get to the Inn you must pass through a trailer park. But you soon learn that Greenwood is a gem. Not in the upscale amenities way, but in the old fashioned comfort and value and service way. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is better than many free breakfasts, and the public areas are interesting, with stuffed animals abounding. What sets Greenwood apart, however, is the staff. Always friendly, always ready to assist in any way you may need. And it feels genuine, not required. That’s hard to find in this era. We will stay there again.
• Kevin (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - Hosts were very helpful and friendly — they went above and beyond. Rooms are very spacious, and we received an upgrade without asking. They were very helpful with local information and assistance with the many amenities at the Inn. Game rooms are available for entertainment, and there were lots of choices for a good breakfast.

When I went to check in there was an older gal in a wheelchair with a tray on her lap containing a plate of food, talking with the desk person. I quickly realized that this is a working retirement facility. It's clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. I just think if you are going to charge a premium rate (nearly $400/night), you need to tell people that they are not staying in a hotel, but in a spare room in a nursing home plopped down in the middle of a trailer park.
• Lisa (10/5): Hidden Jewel - The hotel was tucked back in the outskirts of town and the manager/owner was so very nice and accommodating! Tyler was very knowledgeable about places to eat and visit. Breakfast and dinner was available, but we only had the breakfast as we were out hiking and exploring! I would recommend that they add to the breakfast some fruit and yogurt, but other than that it was a great place to stay.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Stay away - This is still a retirement home. They just rent out some rooms. The front desk lady with the long salt and pepper hair was great. Beds were comfy. Meals were only fair. There were a couple of beetles in the bathroom, but maintenance man was "johnny on the spot" to remove them. Check in was terrible. That lady had to explain fully each rule AND the monetary fine for each infraction. I won't stay again.

Our comfortable room included everything you could expect: table and chairs, 2 easy chairs/rockers, kitchenette w/ frig, micro, coffeepot, large flat screen tv, iron, hairdryer and cozy bed. Currently they were also including dinner and a hot breakfast! Peggy at the front desk made us feel welcome and was so helpful. We will make this our go to. Lodging while in Kalispell
• Matthew (10/5): Surprisingly good stay! - Honestly, driving in through the trailer park that is nearby I was a bit worried, but as soon as I walked in the cleanliness and care was very evident. The room was well sized, the furniture and linens were very clean and in good condition and a hot breakfast and light evening meal are included in the price. Definitely would stay here again.

You have to drive thru a not so nice part of town, then thru a nasty trailer park to get to it. Being 2 older women, on a girls getaway, we were terrified to stay there. Seeing the hotel itself was confusing because it looked super nice...but still uncomfortable with the location. It turned out to be one of the nicest places we've stayed!!!! Would recommend, but be aware that the location sucks!!!

On the downside, the room was stiffling hot and the portable air conditioning unit was noisy. It appeared that the television was programmed to turn itself off every ten minutes, annoying.

• Lindsay (10/5): The BEST - This place is so great!! I have stayed in 10 hotels this trip and this one by far was the best!! Very clean and comfortable and the staff is so great!! I highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back on my next trip!!
• Steven (10/5): One of the best Places to stay - The staff were so courteous and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great visit and experience. The food was excellent. They had an amazing breakfast with incredible cinnamon rolls and in the evening had some delicious chicken noodle soup with rolls. The inn itself was so clean and so tastefully decorated and so welcome and warm. I would definitely recommend it and would go back there any time I was in the area. It is truly a hidden gem and I would rate it a 10 out of ten with 10 being the best. We have stayed at many and it would be one of the best if not the best. I wish we could have stayed a week instead of 2 nights.
