Christian (5/5): Skuffende og meget slidt hotel. - Haveanlægget Meget dårlig morgenmad,specielt kaffen var under alt kritik. Generelt trænger hotellet til en kraftig opdatering. Pool området mangler liggestole og selve poolen var ikke klargjort til badning. De fire stjerner er langt over niveau. Vi rejste 2 dage før selvom vi havde betalt for 7 dage.

Nous n'avons pas pû payer en carte Visa car ils ont inventer une excuse avec leur TIP, alors que nous n'avions aucun problème avec notre carte Visa, ils voulaient surtout que l'on paye en cash. Nos toilettes n'ont jamais bien fonctionné pendant notre séjour et le petit déjeuner sans aucun intérêt
Miles (7/5): Great staff but uncomfortable beds - Fantastic staff and nice setting. Pool was cloudy and kept filling with leaves but staff did everything they could to get it to acceptable standard. The beds are really uncomfortable due to being super firm. It is also a bit out of town but has a good cafe nearby.

R (9/5): Goed verzorgd en rustgevend hotel. - De rust was heerlijk. Na een paar weken volop activiteiten nu even lekker weinig doen. Fijn zwembad, goed ontbijt, mooie ingerichte kamers, vriendelijke staff. Ook hun suggesties voor restaurants etc . zijn zorgvuldig gekozen en de moeite zeker waard. Net of je midden in de natuur bent op deze locatie. Ligt wat afgelegen van grotere bezienswaardigheden, maar toch kun je er best wel wat ondernemen. Een Grab, taxi of tuk tuk is er makkelijk te regelen.

Alastair (8/5): Had a great weekend stay at the Journey House and loved our short time in Kanchanaburi. - The hotel was very quiet and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming. The hotel is a little out of town with a no restaurants or shops in walking distance but we were still able to get a taxi quite easily. The bed was quite hard.

Jacobs (9/5): Superb - We passed a really nice moment with our family in the journey house! A bit farther away from the center of Kanchanaburi. So you will always need to take a Grab to go out and eat in the evening. But we never had any problems finding one while we were there.

Nous n’étions pas attendus… et pourtant, tout a été fait pour que nous soyons installés dans les meilleures conditions, avec le sourire et le service à la clé. L’hôtel est dans un très bel écrin de verdure, loin de l’agitation de la ville, propice au calme et à la serenite. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et bien équipées. Encore merci à l’équipe, nous reviendrons!
Sheree (3/5): Not recommended for tourists who do not speak Thai or who do not have private transport. - The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There are no nearby restaurants or shops, and the hotel does not serve food or drinks (other than breakfast). If you do not have a private car, you are completely dependent on pre-arranging taxis/tuk tuks as there is nothing in walking distance of the hotel and there is no passing traffic to hail a taxi. Staff were extremely unhelpful.

Deze plaats heeft iets unieks, veel beter dan grote resorts. Je kan er heerlijk ontspannen en zit toch dicht bij alle attracties.
