• Marcel (8/5): Nice Budget accomodation - -Breakfast was Not bad and Worth the price. -Room was very hot and the only way to lower the Temperature is to Open the window. -Location is good. - staff was very welcoming.
• GC (4/5): - I stayed for two nights and the room was not cleaned during my stay. the room has a wood floor that is broken and is unequal. the morning that I left the attendant was not available even after waiting 15 min. and calling many times. the entrance to the hotel is through an informal bridge. this is not a 3 star hotel at all.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Sijainti hyvä,hieman vaikea löytää, koska hotellin kuvan perusteella sai käsityksen, että olisi kadun varrella eli esitteeseen, että pitää mennää musiikkiopiston takapihan kautta eli selkeämpi opastus kadulta nimi ja nuolet.. Aamiainen ei ollut erikoisen hyvä.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Zweckmäßig eingerichtet und für eine Städtetour ausreichend. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist jedoch, dass die Zimmer nicht 'gemacht' werden (Bettenmachen). Die Handtücher und Bettbezüge werden alle drei Tage gewechselt, der Müll jedoch täglich 'entsorgt'. Die Lage ist phantastisch und ermöglicht ein Hin-und Her auch untertags (z.B. um den 'müden Knochen' ein Nickerchen zu gönnen bevor es weitergeht). Als einzigen Nachteil hatten wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss in der Nähe des Empfangs. Nachts ging es hier recht turbulent zu (durch an- und abreisende Hotelgäste oder heimkehrende Nachtschwärmer), so dass wir kaum eine Nacht durchschlafen konnten.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Zusammengefasst war Lage und Ausstattung wie wir es erwartet hatten. Tolle, sehr ruhige und zentrale Lage (10 Minuten Fußweg zum Roten Platz und Kreml), ausreichend gepflegte, einfache Ausstattung. So weit ok. Das große ABER: Wir hatten ein Apartment mit zwei separaten Betten und Sofas auf ca 23 qm gebucht. Angeboten wurde uns zunächst ein winzig kleines, simples Zweibettzimmer. Nach Reklamation, viel hartnäckiger Diskussion und Wartezeit (mehr schlecht als recht, da man hier nicht gut Englisch spricht) wurde uns dann ein Apartment mit einem Doppelbett und einem Schlafsofa angeboten mit dem Hinweis, dass es so ein Zimmer wie wir es gebucht haben, im Hotel nicht gäbe. (Ein Blick ins Nachbarzimmer verriet die Lüge) Wir sollen uns an Expedia wenden, sie könne nichts weiter tun... Das tun wir, denn gebucht und auch bereits bezahlt war eine andere Zimmerkategorie. So hat eine von uns eine Woche lang auf dem (wenigstens recht bequemen) Schlafsofa geschlafen. Den Urlaub haben wir uns jedoch davon nicht vermiesen lassen.
• Ineke (8/5): - Op loopafstand van centrum en metro ingangen. Je hebt veel privacy, men komt niet elke ochtend langs om de kamer schoon te maken, dat gebeurt 's middags. Extra schone handdoek vragen is geen probleem. Vriendelijk personeel! Genoten van een weekje in dit hotel!
• Verified traveler (8/5): - La ubicación es excelente, a unos 400m del Kremlin, la habitación bien pero un poco viejo el mobiliario, como no mantenido. El hotel está en una calle oscura metido unos 30m para adentro, no hay ningún cartel a la calle que indique que ahí hay un hotel, encima cuando llegamos estaban haciendo reformas en esa entrada hacia el hotel, había ruidos y raro la entrada y la calle, a pesar de eso es muy seguro la zona.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - I am aware that we booked the budget basement room, but really it was below budget rating. Minus = Apart from being tricky to find, the hotel is very dated and in need of repair generally, you may need a member of staff to close your window correctly. Cleanliness is only superficial, best not to look in any corners too closely! The floors are very uneven throughout the hotel and you will need to watch your step as the corridors are poorly lit. Budget means that your room is cleaned only once a week, bedding and towels are changed every 4 days, unless you requested extra cleaning - which is charged for. Currently, July 2019, there is building work going on around the hotel so it is noisy and dusty during the day, but work does finish at a reasonable hour so that nights are not disturbed. Plus = Location Location Location. You are 5 minutes walk from the metro and bus lines. There are lovely restaurants in close proximity as well as fast food outlets, a local supermarket and the pedestrianised Old Arbat Street for souvenir shopping as well as a boulevard for higher end stores. There was plentiful hot water for the shower, we had enough electrical outlets and the beds were comfortable. Staff have limited English and are friendly but be prepared to pay extra for any service you may require. Generally the hotel is well placed for visiting Moscow, and most suitable for those travelling on a budget who are intending to be out and about for most of the day.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Приятное путешествие - Останавливались в Сити комфорт отель на 3 ночи. Брали номер с двумя односпальными кроватями. Местоположение отеля отличное, в 7-10 минутах пешком от метро «Арбатская», в 15 минут от Кремля, рядом есть супермаркет «Магнолия», а также легко дойти до улицы Арбат с множеством кафе.  Отель расположен на небольшой улице,  поэтому,  если возвращаться в отель поздно вечером, то  несколько страшновато идти по пустынной, но хорошо освещенной улице. Вход в отель со двора, на улице указателей мы не увидели, поэтому не сразу его нашли. Из номера был вид во двор на деревянный забор, так как во дворе шли какие-то работы, но так как  наш номер располагался на первом этаже, в любом случае пришлось  закрывать окна занавесками. Номер  просторный, есть мини-кухня с электрической миниплитой,  кухонные принадлежности,  холодильник. В ванной комнате была сломана стойка для душа, но по нашей просьбе в тот же день починили во время нашего отсутствия. Также отелем выдается набор для душа - мыло, шампунь, кондиционер для волос "Натура Сиберика". Уборка производится редко, но отель об этом предупреждает. Стойка регистрации работает круглосуточно, есть комната хранения багажа. Пребыванием  в отеле довольны, по соотношению цена-качество это было наилучшим предложением.
• Verified traveler (2/5): One of the worst hotels in the world - Except the location all the things of the room which I stayed at were so terrible that it became the worst memory for me. First of all, hot water runs out in 30seconds! This forced me to take shower with really cold water and I caught a terrible cold! Hose keepers incessantly had a noisy quarrel with each other which didn’t let me sleep even a second. They don’t clean the room at all. Even if soaps run out they don’t realize at all. They leave the windows opened so when you come into the room you will find a lot of mosquitoes flying around you! Really dirty and comfortable circumstances. It is not worthy at all to stay such a horrible hotel. Even around 35 dollars would be too expensive to spend on one night stay here. You should look for another hotel.

• Stefano (2/5): Precio caro para el muy mal servicio que ofrecen. - La verdad que el hotel es un desastre!!!! Primero dicen ser de 3 estrellas y nada que ver, diría que es de 1 o 2 estrellas. El hotel está re mal señalizado, el cartel está muy escondido y nos costó mucho localizarlo. Tienen 2 entradas, tuvimos que entrar por una entrada trasera escondida arrastrando las valijas por la escalera. No tienen ascensor!!!! Una vergüenza. Tuvimos que subir las valijas por varias escaleras, nadie te ayuda. Una incomodidad total!!! La mayoría de los de recepción no hablan en ingles, con lo cual también se dificulta la comunicación. Al momento de hacer el check in, nos dijeron que por leyes rusas si te quedabas mas de una noche tenés que pagar un impuesto de registro o algo así de 500 rublos por persona ( aprox 9 USD c/u) Cosa que es mentira, ya que cuando me fui a otro hotel de Rusia no me cobraron nada. Es una falta de respeto total. Después la limpieza también, no te hacen la cama y no te cambian las toallas, muy poca limpieza en general!! El agua caliente no dura casi nada, así que había que bañarse rapidísimo o con agua fría. Muy incómodo de verdad. El desayuno te cobran carísimo y no tiene nada. Realmente no les recomiendo este hotel, una experiencia horrible y encima te cobran caro.

The area itself is not noisy at all and it is very close to the main attractions. 15min walk from the Kremlin and the Redsquare. Also close to Arbat, Gum, Zum and Tverskaya. The staff was helpful.

• Giuseppe (2/5): terrible is the word . - Terrible is the word suitable to qualify this kind of hotel. The location impossible to identify because there was no sign of the structure. We had to access the "jumping" a scaffolding of a renovation of an adjacent building. Cleaning of the poor molro structure and absolutely insufficient room. There was no possibility to open suitcases because there was no wardrobe in the room or something to put clothes on. Absurd. After the first night we "escaped", despite having paid in advance the whole stay, looking for another hotel. I can not understand how Expedia can "sell" a hotel like that. The reception staff was also friendly but can not do enough

Unfortunately the hotel is a bit difficult to find and as the area is under construction it has been even more difficult to get around especially with luggage. Staff during the night was rude at first, perhaps a long workday, but then more helpful after I settled in. Morning staff was really pleasant and helpful.
• Val (10/5): - superb location! within walking distance to most prominent sites in Moscow. Nice, quiet area. You an hear music from conservatory students playing when the windows are open. No traffic sounds. I loved it!
• Ryan (4/5): Great location. Poor value. - As I saw another reviewer state this is more of a hostel than a hotel. Although I did have a private room and bathroom. The rate I paid was about 8x more than the hotel was worth however it was during the World Cup and there were very few hotels available. I did love the location of this hotel, we were able to walk to most of the attractions that we wanted to see. There is no elevator and my room did not have air conditioning or a curtain on the window. The sun woke me up very early every morning. The hotel was also difficult to find, its set back off of the road and there is no sign. For the most part the staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very small. Good water pressure and hot water in the shower.

Hotel staff is very accommodating and has good English speakers. Hotel was clean. The beds are average comfort, but the lack of air conditioning or a fan was challenging. There was no airflow in the rooms. Great shower and spacious room.

We used it just to sleep & take shower. no choice or time for change. There was no fan, or A/C, or cooling stuff. At night you had to open the window and it was not easy to sleep with so many noises and talks from outside.

• David (8/5): Awesome location, friendly staff - The room was quite clean and well-lit: simply but adequately furnished. The staff could answer all questions in English. It's in a historical bldg., so there will be stairs. Pay attention to directions: you enter the hotel from an inner courtyard, with no signage visible from the street. Unbeatable for a music lover, since the famous Moscow Conservatory is right across the street. 300 ruble breakfast was quite edible, with a different prix-fixe meal each day.

It is renovated apartments like a hostel tucked away in a sketchy courtyard amongst many apartment buildings 10 minutes walk from Arbatskaya Metro. Nothing about this "hotel" is acceptable, The staff are hostile from the get go, probably because of all the unsatisfied customers. They demand almost a dollar per page payment for printing a boarding pass. It is clearly the concept of a greedy business model to leverage the concept of a hotel out of a cheap nasty hostel. The room was barely two starts. Towels had holes in them. Neighborhood was noisy and hard for taxis to find. Beds tiny and uncomfortable. No wifi in room and slow in lobby. Just dont bother.

• Natasha (8/5): Pleasant stay in excellent location - The hotel is in an excellent location, quiet yet very close to the Kremlin. Spacious, comfortable rooms, but only cleaned every 4 days. Staff is friendly and speak English. The breakfast is very poor and not worth the money.
• gidi (6/5): Great location, very nice staff - Great location, very nice staff, easy check in and they allow us to have check out at 14 pm no charge. The room is big and nice. Overall great value fof money and recommended

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location, rooms a bit quirky. - Rooms are a bit quirky. We were in a group and one had a room out the back with pink flowers and lace everywhere but no window so very dark. The entrance is difficult to find and as the hotel is fairly new taxi drivers don't know it so research the location before you go. Breakfasts were awful: cold baked beans, cucumber and olives! with either eggs or frankfurters and no choice in what you can have. Location is good, close to Red square and restaurants etc. nearby. Staff generally friendly though not always spoke English.
• Val (8/5): superb location! walking distance to best sites! - I stayed there for a week, walked everywhere - museums, Kremlin, Red Square, theaters (including the Bolshoi Theater), concert halls, shops, boulevards, historic places, monuments, beautiful churches, etc, etc. This is the best location in Moscow and a fantastic find for a budget traveler! The hotel is simply furnished, quiet and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not eat at the hotel because there are so many excellent places (all price ranges) around. I had a great time in Moscow and the location of the hotel was a key because I love exploring cities on foot.
• shlomo (6/5): good location, not indulging - very good location. fit for youngster and for people that want to eat on their own. the kitchen is well equipped. breakfast quite mean but on the other hand very cheap. the rooms are unbearable on hot days, but those are only few in moskow; unfortunately for us - we fell on such a day. the windows should have heavy curtains or shutters for the summer, because sunlight begins very early and disturbs sleepping
• Barry (2/5): Moscow an English Experience. - The most notable thing about Russia is they are not set up for english speaking tourism so be prepared to be creative in navigating your way round Moscow. I start with a warning on leaving the airport (Domodedovo International Airport) you will be hounded by taxi drivers NOTE: a lot of them are illegal! You get a warning about this on the train. Bazar? Use the airoexpress it's only £4.50 and is a 45 minute trip. After this you then have the delights of the Moscow metro ( 50p anywhere one way ) NOW! the only thing you can do is arm yourself with a metro map, the system is colour coded like our London underground it is this that makes it usable, when lost simply ask a young girl ( They usually have a little english ) and point to where you want to go and count the number of stations you need to pass Why? All station are in Russian ( Not english lettering ) so you english map with names is no help at all. Must see, The Kremlin, beautiful informative AND! You must visit the armory I not going to tell you whats in there it will spoil the surprise but here's a BIG NOTABLE TIP!. DO NOT QUE for 45 min's at the ticket office outside the Kremlin simply get you basic access ticket and pay for the Armory at the entrance to the Armory you will be amazed and taken back by whats in there. Finally enjoy Moscow I found it very safe day and night, only down side watch out for the hundreds of pushing and shoving Japanese tourist.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Noce location, good price for the room - Stayed for 5 nights. Overall the room was comfortable and newly furnished with everything you need. However, the utensils in the kitchen were quite dirty... Heating is a bit too much, had to open the window. You can add R250 for breakfast, which is just next door when you stepped outside the backdoor of the hotel. The entrance is a bit hard to find. I got lost for like 30 min the first time I was out, and in the end realized that I have been walking around the property but just couldn't get the entrance right... 2 staffs who work afternoon shifts speak good English and are really helpful, the rest don't speak English at all. Location is good. It's a 5 min walk to the subway station where they have many 24 hours cafes and even a bookstore. And on the opposite direction, another 5 min takes you to a number of nice restaurants. Walkable distance to the Red Square.
