• sarahkoolkats76 (8/5): Lovely location,good breakfast - Went for a anniversary, arrived at a beautiful hotel The reception lady was lovely and helpful. Remember to log your registration for you car! We arrived early as we were going to crazy bear for afternoon tea. We went to the bar 111-30am (holiday mode) served by lovely lady who bought our drinks out to the veranda/balcony. We got Uber to Beaconsfield (what an amazing gem). Arrive back to hotel at 5pm to check in. Got ready to go for dinner (6-30) it was fully booked, so guys please book! We ate in the bar (the food was just ok) the service was very slow. Breakfast next morning was good, staff were helpful. Now let's talk about the spa, it could use a renewal but it has a pool a small steam room and sauna plus the hot tub. I nearly slipped over twice just getting to the spa as the flooring is not suitable to be wet, the pool is lovely but the spa is also used by pay monthly people who were trying to swim lanes in a hotel pool. They were giving us some strange looks when crossing in front of them to get out of pool. The hot tub was hot but the jet/bubbles were of poor quality as I think it's very old. There a hydra pump in the hot tub which if switched on sprayed everyone relaxing. On arrival the Day before we had tried to book a treatment or massage but fully booked. After chatting to a local in the hot tub he suggested we call a place on gerrards cross which we did and I had a amazing Thai massage in town. The bedroom had nice decor and was big enough, the bed was very comfortable, but please bring earplugs if a light sleeper. Overall lovely hotel but hopefully they take note of some of the points
• V8996WFjaneh (6/5): Not a spar hotel as children running in out of saunas - Unfortunately this is a weird place , we booked literally the day before as we were looking for a spar day but got a deal for a night stay and three course dinner plus use of spar .the check in was awful it took 55 minutes as the queue was out the door but people that had stuff in plastic carry bags . When we got our room it was lovely the room has no complaints perfect . The spar is old very worn looking and had kids running around in and out of the sauna and steam rooms so the doors were constantly open so no use being in their , plus they were playing ball games in the pool it was not relaxing at all the changing rooms were flooded you could not get changed without getting wet plus you had to queue to use the shower I queued for 35 minutes . The meal at night was a absolute disaster we had booked but we had to queue for 20 mins to get into restaurant then got told their was no room so to sit at the bar we tried to order a drink but they told us we couldn’t order at the bar so to go sit down and wait and again waited 20 mins nothing then our table was ready so food was good but starter came quickly but then we waited an hour for the main we kept asking about it and so we’re a couple of other people, our main finnaly came 1hour and 15 minutes later it was very late at this point so we didn’t have desert. It really is not a spar which is a shame as it has potential but the chaos of all the queuing and waiting was ridiculous and then we were told they would take 20% of the bill but when it came out of my bank three days later they took the full amount .

• 348hasann (10/5): Ibraheem is a Gem! - Stay at this hotel often due to work. Overall it’s a good hotel with good facilities and food. However, recently I’m super impressed by the service Ibraheem left that I had to leave a review. He’s greeting, service, attitude was just so refreshing and better than what I usually get especially being an IHG Member! Definitely took my stay from a 7 to a 10/10!

• Cristina (9/5): Nice relaxing hotel. Great for a business meeting with a little spa treatment in the side. - Hotel is located on the road from Gerard Cross to Beaconsfield. Mostly used for business meeting. The rooms are very comfortable and offer you still and sparkling water for free. You also get robes and slippers. The hotel has a lovely pool and sauna and a Spa. The breakfast is descent and the lunch offered in the course was delicious. It was a great venue for a nice relaxed stay and a course. The staff were a bit too tight for my liking. Would not say they weren’t friendly but they were not welcoming either. Maybe that is just the English way.

We were a family of 4, one meal arrived 30 mins after other 3. Although staff Apologies it still is not good enough. It took us 3 hours to have a simple mealehich meant kids slept at 11pm.

Room was spacious (we had a room for four) bed was comfy but could have done with some different pillows (but that’s my preference) Mini bar had some drinks available which were free of charge which was a nice touch. We asked for a late check out which was kindly given. We got to do one of the water aerobics classes as we were using the pool at that time. Lots of fun and the leader and his co worker were very friendly and encouraging.

We then spoke to reception and they just said sorry but they cant do anything about it offered us a drink voucher we then went to use voucher for a drink and there was no staff to be seen when someone finally came they told us to go to the coffee machine and get a takeaway drink of which there was no cups. We spoke with receptionist again to report our troubles to be told you can come back later when we had already checked out and had plans

• Patchesonelbows (6/5): Beware car parking fines/charges!!! - I reviewed this place after my (reasonable) stay last year. However, I must add that we were sent (several times including after informing the hotel) demands for payment for parking fees/fines in the FREE hotel car park. When I arrived nobody asked if I was in a car or for the registration of any such car. To be sent such demands is wholly unacceptable. They blame it on the car park being managed by a 3rd party (take it in house then!) but it is, in my view, simply dishonest practice.

• Francis (9/5): Relaxing place to recharge - Nice hotel with a spa, which was the main reason we chose it. The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The spa is very family-friendly during the afternoon slot, but they also offer child-free sessions. The massage service comes at an additional cost, but it is very good and definitely worth trying. The location and the surrounding is a bit empty.

• Sunny (8/5): Great place, friendly staff and good food - Great location for where we needed to be, Ibrahim on the front desk was extremely polite and helpful The cleaning staff don’t empty our bins, we had dirty glasses in the fridge when we arrived. The food and bar options weren’t great.

Very clean and welcoming We have to say the staff were absolutely amazing, Edward in the bar was welcoming friendly polite always smiling Inma at dinner was lovely nothing g was a problem for her to help us, very friendly food was great apart from the burnt chicken wings 😥 Upon leaving Faha (sorry if spelling is not correct) had a verbally rude customer !! we have to say he remained polite and kind to her… He remained very professional (well done) Great stay Thank you

• Martin (8/5): Good hotel excellent location, newly refurbished - Reception welcome very good. Excellent location 5 mins off J2 M40. Staff need to be trained properly in how to clean tables and general smooth restaurant running. We asked three times for a wine menu, no dessert follow up. Not too busy either and plenty of staff. I booked a Courtyard view, see the picture - I think it's pushing it!

• Simon (8/5): Nice staff bad health and safety - Very nice and friendly staff Breakfast couldn't get a pot of tea and instead were given cardboard cups. Lots of building works being undertaken including contractors using chop saws within 1 metre of us whilst trying trying to order a drink. Seems health and safety is an after thought here.

• Caroline (8/5): Lovely room. Friendly staff. Near to many towns. A pleasant place to stay with a spa/pool - Conveniently placed for where we were visiting. Check in was quick and staff very friendly and helpful. Noisy at times but no different to most hotels.
