Guest Reviews
- Nina (2/5): Exhausting night!!! - First to begin with, I got to NYC quite comfortably!! Then disaster stricks!! I book the hotel through Expedia at the last minute. That part went well with the customer service agent. But we had trouble finding this supposedly hotel, I was given the wrong street number for the place and here I am riding around this neighborhood at 1am in the morning to find this place after about two hours we finally found the this place. This place is the noisest place ever, the attendant at the property made my night and that of my 11 year child, very uncomfortable and unsafe. The attendant kept banging on the entrance door about deadbolt being locked on the door at least twice between 2 -4am.The toilet flushed all night long!! No tissue!! And the sheet was terribly itchy!! The place is just bad for business and I was over charged. I felt as if I was sleeping on the streets and at least I would of felt better knowing that I have to deal with what's outside.
- Verified traveler (2/5): do not recommend at all - not good. .
- Verified traveler (6/5): its okay - You get what you pay for. I had my own room and it was okay. Don't expect anything average.
- jun (4/5): - ホテルまでの道のりも汚くて暗くて怖いし、シャワールームも汚くて使いたくない。また現金払いしかできなくて非常に不便でした。オーナーがフレンドリーで良い人な事以外は残念。
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay here - It was terrible not only is there no signage for the hostel, you can't get in without a code which makes it very hard to check in. I tried calling the number provided to me over 11 times and got called back over an hour later after waiting in one of the kitchens after someone let me in. The staff were very unfriendly and I had to pay in cash. Another lady in my room from New York City did not think it was advisable for myself (a young female single) to go outside after dark on my own. When I arrived my linen had not been changed and the pillow I was provided with was from a sofa and very dirty. There were also no lockers or safes to secure any valuables so I did not feel as though I could get settled. I have stayed in hostels all over the USA and Canada and this was by far the worst. I would never stay here ever again it was so terrible. I would not suggest it for anyone, even if you are on a budget stay somewhere else I recommend HI NYC.
- DD (8/5): Transitioning from Europe back to America - It was cool, and my roomies were cool. I didn't have problem because I just need a place to lay my head while my apartment was getting sorted and everything was booked in the city. But I'm all chill when it comes to things like this...I would stay again
- Darth Vader (10/5): Worth the Stop - it gets a little crazy sometimes but ,for the price, it's an excellent and convenient stay
- Verified traveler (2/5): The worst hostel I've been in whole life - This is the worst experience of mi life and it was so horrible than I didn't even stay the night . And it charged me twice. Don't go.
- unknown (2/5): DISGUSTING! - I stayed in the basement of the hotel & it was very scary. DO NOT BOOK! seems convenient and cheap but not worth it at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not recommended - Everything is in very poor condition . During my staing the refrigerator was broken and nobody could fix it because they don t care about this , they use their hostel just for earning money I would never recommended this hostel to one of my friends , the stuff is absent all the time , the code on the front and second door they never change , so ent body could come a take envy thing form this hostel . I be seen many times how people come and refuse to stay their , and by the way when you book this hell hostel you need tout your credit card info , but when PKU arrive inside they need cache to let to in , but information about you card they still keep in their data .
No towels , Dan toilet , no toilet paper , no light , it was stolen 2 phones and one laptop during my staying (
Everything is in very poor condition .

- Verified traveler (2/5): terrible - I understand I'm not getting the 4 seasons when paying $35 for the night but when you pay for a women's only room and you walk into a room that has all men sleeping in it , it's a bit terrifying. the man running it very sweet but I didn't even stay the night I left within the hour because I was not comfortable with any of the arrangements. the sheets look like the last time they were washed was 5 years ago.
- Luc (2/5): Worst hostel ever but very cheap for NYC (40$). - My honest review: I have been travelling to already 80 countries, and 9 times to NYC. This is by far the worst place I have ever slept!
This is an illegal hotel. Very dirty. I had to sleep in the cellar, it was very hot and humid over there. Outside I saw rats so the very small window couldn't even be opened (just at ground level). It felt like a prison experience. It is 3 miles from Williamsburg. The first night when I arrived back they had changed the room and thrown all my stuff in the dust, I lost a linnen bag. No keys from the room or personal storage. No fan, so I couldn't sleep at all. Biten by bedbugs. Bathrooms: very dirty. Ps: pool and tenniscourt is off course a sick joke.
The only advantage: Cheapest in New York City.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Close subway - Dirty bathroom and toilets
No cleaning room
I don't think i Will retiens one day ...
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is dirty hostel the first problem the location is wrong the second thing when you go to to hotel they make price more than you see in internet
I booked for 70$ and whe I went to there they says is 90$. The want to take your money.they don't thing about you. And if you want receipt.they give you empty paper and they will write your price.if that hostel steel your money how you will go to police. Where is the paper of hostel. And that is fake hostel. I hate that hostel.
- Joel (2/5): Worst hostel/ hotel on the east coast. - Avoid at all costs. Dirty unfinished and an not legit. Stay up the road at the "new york loft hostel". Manager is a joke, he doesn't listen and is always doing 500 things at once.
- Diana (4/5): Excelente for backpackers - This hostel is the Perfect place to rest after a long day , the price is great but please Don't expect anything more than a clean bed . I suggest the owners to enter the right address of the hostel since the one you is half block from the real.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not for the faint of heart - The hostel was in some odd part hood area of brooklyn. The hostel was in a converted apartment housing project or w/e. Really just sketchy and not a place I'd go back.
- Elena (2/5): Simply NO!!!!! - This is not a Hotel or a Hostel, I really think that is not even legal. It a place for people who cannot pay a rent, so they live there no a hostel and less a hotel.
First the adresse that they put on it is not the real one, if you are "lucky" and find this place, because someone tell you where is it, It will look like a normal house no any sing of hotel or hotel.
They even didn´t know that I was going. Desk 24 hours, It is not even a desk, they didn´t check my passport just ask for the reservation and if was already pay.
I book a Single bed in a three female room and they give me a double in a 5 mix room, without tell me that It was mix, I figure it out when a guy come into the room. The doors have not keys and I won´t talk about the bathrooms...
I just was there for a nigth and I couldn´t sleep at all.
