Alan (8/5): - Für mich ist es sehr praktisch und ruhig, da das Hotel in einem Wohngebiet liegt, und die Preise sind sehr fair. Die Lage ist gut. Der Universitätscampus und das Universitätsklinikum sind jeweils etwa 10 Gehminuten bzw. 4 Autominuten entfernt. Der Hauptbahnhof ist etwa 10-12 Autominuten entfernt. Ich werde dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder buchen und kann es wärmstens empfehlen.
David (8/5): Pleasant location, friendly staff, good parking - I stayed five nights and would book again. The location is very pleasant and safe, in a residential area. It is short (5-minute) enjoyable walk to the bus stop. Public transportation is excellent, so all of Mainz is easily accessible. Additionally it is only a 10-minute walk to the Gutenberg university. The hotel is rather short staffed, but they work very hard to ensure that you have what you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, a breakfast is provided every day (for additional cost), and they give contact information in case any problems arise when they are not on site in the evening (which didn't happen during my visit). I prearranged my arrival as instructed, so I knew what to expect and I had no trouble getting entry when I first arrived. Free parking is convenient and spots were always available.

MAYUMI (10/5): 周辺の緑が美しいホテル - マインツ駅から徒歩30分くらいです。住宅街の奥のひっそりした緑の中にあるので、ある意味環境は抜群ですが、周辺には、飲食店も商店もないので、都市の便利さを求める方には向かないかもしれません。レセプションの女性は、とても明るくフレンドリーで、早い時間に着いたのに、｢準備ができてるから｣とのことで、すぐにチェックインさせてくれました。お部屋は、レビューでも、やや否定的な意見があった地下一階でした。私が泊まった11号室は、窓からの風も光も気持ち良く、問題なかったです。もし、気になる方は、最初から上階を指定した方がいいと思います。備品は、テレビは古くて、使えませんでしたが、ドライヤーは新しい物で、風力抜群で髪があっという間に乾かせました。バスローブ、冷蔵庫、スーツケーススタンド、ズボンプレスなど、ちょっと気のきいた備品もありました。部屋によって違うかもしれませんが、 5月の下旬は暑い中でも、部屋は冷房がなくても快適でした。私にとっては、リラックスできる、とても居心地のいいホテルでした。

Kerstin (8/5): - Beim Hotel Römerstein handelt es sich um ein nettes kleines Hotel in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Das Einzelzimmer war sauber und hatte sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Das Hotel verfügt über eine Sauna. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr schön angerichtet und lecker. Neben verschiedenen Backwaren, Wurst, Käse und Frühstückei gab es auch eine Obstplatte, Müsli und Joghurt. Ich würde das Hotel Römerstein jederzeit wieder buchen.

So ein Hotel ist Schande für Deutschland und beleidigend für Gäste. Beim buchen im ebookers habe ich ein 3 Bettzimmer gebucht und auf dem Foto wurde ein zimmer mit doppelbett und ein einzelbett gezeigt, aber beim check in hat man uns an der Reception ein kleines , dunkles kaltes und schmutziges zimmer mit einem kleinem doppelbett im keller angeboten. Die personal war ständig am telefon ( privatgespräch ) beschäftigt oder am pc. Man muss lange warten bis die person zeit oder Lust hat auf deine Frage zu reagieren. Sehr unfreundliche personal , nicht hilfsbereit. Das Hotel bietet gar nichts ausser schmutz, schimmel, Feuchtigkei, kälte und Gestank. Für Allergiker ist pures Horror. Wir haben nach 3 minuten unser Zimmer annuliert und ein anderes Hotel im Zentrum von Mainz gebucht. Schade für die Zeit und das Geld und die Nerven. Das war ein Horror Hotel.

Fik et værelse i kælderen med et lille bitte vindue og en lille seng, som bestemt ikke var stor nok til 2 personer! Morgenmaden var fin og hyggeligt område, men det var også det eneste positive.

Allerdings ist das Essen ohne Würze. Die Betten bräuchten bzgl. der recht weichen, schmalen Matratzen eine Auffrischung. Der Fernseher hatte bei ARD und SWR erhebliche Störungen. Es gab kaum frei zugängliche Steckdosen (z.B. zum Aufladen von elektron. Geräten). Für ein Komfortzimmer war das nicht angemessen, wie auch die 3 Sterne des Hotels eine Übertreibung darstellen.

When she checked us in she very very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport for us for the next day and answering any questions we had. She had also answered questions quickly that I had emailed her previously. Great little family run restaurant/bar onsite.
Rick (8/5): Nice Little Hotel - A very comfortable small hotel on a quiet residential side street with a bikeway accessing nearby main thoroughfares. Rooms are spacious, equipped with minbars and flexible bed lights for late night reading. Good strong wi-fi signal; log in once and you stay logged in, unlike those pain in the nates wifi services requiring login every time you open your browser. No elevator so this is not a good choice for disabled travelers. Also just out of the way enough that you do need a car or at least a bicycle for it to be a practical choice. Bus stop into town central on Schweitzerstrasse a five minute walk away. Good well stocked breakfast bar includes smoked salmon and trout, a variety of mueslis and soft boiled eggs. Excellent coffee. Food in dinner-only restaurant is excellent but oddly the restaurant isn't open on Friday and Saturday. Municipal athletic field directly across bikeway if you're a regular morning or evening jogger. Fifteen minute walk from central campus of Johannes Gutenberg University.
