• MickG (9/5): - I have been here before and used it as a stop over before reaching my final destination. It is because of that reason why it suits my needs and is perfectly situated for sightseeing, buying souvenirs and eating out. The friendliness of the staff and willingness to help and assist is above and beyond. In terms of value for money there is not a lot not to like.

В самом центре города. Так как окно не выходило на центральную улицу в номере было тихо. Отличные завтраки по цене 10$. Нет воды в номере

• Ann - Marie (7/5): My stay at Sea View Inn. - The location is prime to those who want to be close to many activities. The food was tasty. The room was clean without extravagance and the staff was accommodating. I did not appreciate the steep stairway to get to the lobby simply because the climb wss too much for my knees. This hindered me from venturing out much when I considered the stairs. There were no windows in my room. I thought I would have been able to view the sea.

• Jayne (6/5): Not the Seaview Inn!! - Clean, good Aircon. Guy was friendly. Well located for the early ferry. We booked the Seaview Inn and got put in a hotel behind. It's on Booking.com with much worse ratings. Meant a very confused check-in, waiting around with no reason why we were put in a hotel we hadn't booked. We'd booked well in advance and arrived at check-in time so no excuses there. Watch out when booking.
• Michael (8/5): - It's quite a cute little place right in the heart of Basseterre, but there was no sea view. It is however only a couple of minutes walk to the sea. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Note, there is no onsite parking, but parking is available across the street for $2. Best hotel for the price if you want to stay in the center of Basseterre. The part of town was a bit noisy, but once in our room, it was perfectly quiet and peaceful.
• Paula (9/5): Grenadian - solo trip - The location is centered close the shopping area, which is walking distance. The room are quiet and cozy. Management and staff were very friendly. I will stay there again and will also recommend it to others. I was satisfied with all the amenities offered.

• david (10/5): Ideal location-amazing staff. - Seaview inn does not pretend to be the Marriot but what it lacks in polish it makes up with the friendliness and dedication of the team running it. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and nothing ever appeared too much hassle. Location was perfect for excursions from the port and a taxi rank was just around the corner to get you anywhere on the island. For our two nights on the island-ideal.

Handdoeken in mooie vorm gevouwen. Er was oog boor detail. Midden in de stad gelegen en op loopafstand van de ferry terminals. Een tv met heleboel kanalen. Kortom, we waren blij verrast. Van buiten ziet het er misschien minder uit, maar eenmaal binnen is het er gezellig en goed verzorgd. Verwacht geen hele grote kamers, maar is ook niet nodig als je op pad gaat. • Elizabeth (9/5): - Great location in the heart of Basseterre. They allowed me a very early check in as my flight arrived early and I really appreciated that. Staff were kind. The room was comfy. A little bit of noise late at night as the hotel is located in one of the main strips of town with lots of movement and music from nearby spots.

ALL the staff were smiling and professional everything we saw and did was above satisfactory. We will definitely stay there again. Not being able to open the windows where we stayed. • Gorazd (8/5): - Location is in the city centre. less than 5 minutes walk to the bus station and the port (ferry to Nevis). Rooms were simple, but ok, bed was perfect. They offer breakfast, which is very good and not so expensive for what you get. Staff were nice. No view from the room. Long wait to get the breakfast. Loud music from the store across the street gets annoying during the day, but after 7pm it all gets quiet. No daylight in the room.

We misten alleen een keukentje / thee- en koffiezetg - De centrale ligging, met de Ferry haven, het busstation, supermarkt, bakkerij, en het centrum op loopafstand. De bedden waren iets minder (voor ons wat te zacht). Er was luide straatmuziek, maar in onze kamer was het echt stil - wat verder weg van de straatzijde, en goed geïsoleerd.

• Jannabells (10/5): Good location to stay. Needs within a reach! - Room is clean and has a comfy bed. It's in the city. Near to establishments and Ferry port (Port Zante). They offer breakfast with a complimentary coffee or tea which is GREAT! Huge plate! They have a balcony, too. You can roam around and enjoy. I will book this inn again. No kettle and a microwave inside. I think as per policy no drinking and eating inside the room. But it's fine. Not a problem at all.

Mr. Alex and his team were welcoming and attentive, truly going out of their way to make us feel at home. Seaview Inn is ideally situated. It's less than a 5 minute walk to both the Basseterre Ferry Terminal (perfect for day trips to Nevis) and the Port Zante Cruise Terminal, where you’ll find souvenir shops and the iconic “St. Kitts” photo spot. Seaview Inn offers clean, comfortable accommodations at a very reasonable price, which is perfect for travelers like myself who want to explore the beauty of St. Kitts and Nevis without overspending. If you're seeking a simple, no frills place to stay in the heart of the city, I highly recommend Seaview Inn. Oh! It's right next to KFC. Although it was okay for us, there are no elevators and Seaview Inn is on the second floor. So, if you're not able to do stairs, it could be challenging taking luggage up the stairs.

• Eniola (8/5): Very good - I like that it was right in the centre of town. I came from Nevis and this is a short walk from the ferry terminal. I like how the hosts were so friendly. They gave me a map of the island so i could easily coordinate what to do each day. Nicely air conditioned room so you don’t overheat while you sleep. I wish it had a lift. Logging my luggage up and down the stairs wasn’t the easiest.

• B (7/5): A great place to stay to experience the local culture. - The inn is quaint and will grow on you. The bar is small but stocked. We sat out on the second story porch a lot. Staff are very nice. Breakfast was good. Property is secure with locking entrance doors security cameras. You are in the heart of downtown Basseterre here so there are a lot of locals all around and it can be noisy. The area is safe even though it may feel intimidating at first. You are right near Point Zante so there are lots of shops and restaurants within a five minute walk. A couple blocks up toward independence square has more "dive" local shops and eateries. All in all it was a great stay. This isn't the Marriott so if you are looking for that type of thing, the Seaview may not be for you. The beds were too hard and hurt my back.

• Hugo (8/5): - It did the job! Reasonably priced, we just needed somewhere to stay the night before transferring to Nevis. It's very well located for the passenger ferry port. The area near the property has some restaurants and bars, almost all un-usable due to extraordinarily loud music. During the day time, shops prop their doors open with massive speakers, blaring ludicrously loud music.

My husband and I received a warm greeting upon our arrival and checking in process was quick. In the morning we put in our request for breakfast and nothing was too much for the chef. Also an ideal location to catch the boat to Nevis, 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

• Brian (6/5): Don’t be frightened it’s clean and safe and it’s near the ferry - It’s one of only two options in Basseterre, and a couple minutes walk from the ferry to St Maarten. Airco was powerful. Internet and satellite TV worked well, which was a nice surprise. Everything was clean, the bed adequately comfortable and the shower clean. There is even a “real” sit down restaurant a block away, the Fourways open till 8pm. The type of place, furnishings and state of repair when you see them in the US they usually unclean and unsafe (transient hotels). This is not at all the case here. The furnishings are simple old and beat up. Airco was strong so strong I had to turn it off several times.
• Leo (10/5): - Alex & Annie were very professional, courteous, kind and helpful during my 7-day stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Alex & Annie willingly answered all my questions about St Kitts, places to visit around the island, and most importantly, places to eat and have fun. The location is perfect! Close to the airport, ferry to Nevis, Frigate Bay beach bars, Port Zante and a few steps from the town center. The best part is that it cost less than $87/night including taxes. Best deal in town. • Martindeyanov (10/5): A cute and pleasant hotel right in the middle of the historical centre :) - It is small cute guest house with independent rooms. For example, my room had its own bathroom with hot water. Not all hotels in the Caribbean have hot water :) There was air-conditioning and a fridge. The personnel were extremely welcoming and pleasant. The location is very central; as a matter of fact, it cannot be more central than this - the hotel is right next to the port, cafes and eateries and supermarkets, and the historical centre. There is a bar and a kitchen in the lobby. I deffo recommend this place :)
• Matthew (8/5): Good hotel very convenient for Makana ferry - The rooms are good. Excellent location for using the Makana ferry. Nice breakfast room to sit in (breakfast at reasonable cost). Very helpful staff, brought us a refrigerator. Great value for money. Recommend 4 Ways restaurant rather than restaurants in food court. Shops opposite the hotel play very loud music on boom boxes from about 10am to 5pm. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but it's intrusive!

Didn't have breakfast so cant give an opinion. Several shops nearby open in evening though only hot food in evening was mediocre Chinese. The guests were a bit noisy slamming doors at 2am.

No sea view. - Good location on a busy place suitable for business travelllers and short stays when you know you will be mostly outside for travelling around the island. Outstanding oat porridge for breakfast (if you like). The Seaview has no sea view nor any view actually (as our room did not have window) and from the hotel balcony you see only main street with repro music all day round (not fault of the hotel obviously).

• January (8/5): Very good - The property was very clean. The staff was friendly. The air conditioning worked great. The bed was a tad bit hard and the location was a bit removed on a Sunday. Most things around were closed. Just something to note if staying there on a Sunday.
