• francis (10/5): Excellent Stay. - Federico was an excellent host. The hotel was nicely decorated. The room and bath room were much larger than I have come to expect for Rome. The WiFi was good enough for video calls. There was a shopping mall with a laundry mat within walking distance.
• Julie (8/5): Clean, convenient place to spend one night near FCO - The property was lovely for an overnight stay 10 minutes from FCO. It felt like we were staying in someone’s home. The room provided everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. We didn’t leave the property because we were tired and had to get up early the next morning. Frederico was very responsive and provided packaged breakfast items in the morning to grab and go. It was a good value for what we wanted. It felt a little isolated.

• christine (10/5): A lovely hotel near the Rome airport - Villa rosa is a very lovely small hotel about 4 miles from the Rome airport, which far exceeded our expectations . We stayed here before our flight back to the states. They offer very reasonable transportation to and from the airport. It is nicely decorated, very clean, has comfortable rooms and beds, and Federico is a great host. There is a pretty patio common space to enjoy the outdoors. There is a very generous Continental breakfast with plenty of choices. There are several restaurants within walking distance. A travel tip. We took the express train from the central train station in Rome to the airport where Frederico picked us up. It was simple to find the train (leonardo express) in Rome and it is direct to the airport. You can easily visit Rome from this lovely guest house, and it is perfect if you are flying in or out of Rome. We highly recommend this hotel. It was all perfect!
• Tsojen (8/5): - The surrounding area is quiet. The host provides pick up and drop off at FCO for €15 one way. Complimentary coffee with no restriction. Our room with two single beds is small. The breakfast items are all store bought so my wife and I didn't eat any. We would prefer the lodging does not provide breakfast but instead offer a lower rate.

• JAMIL (10/5): Great Value, A very charming place. Federici was Awesome - The Federico was GREAT. Quick shuttles pick up from the airport (15 Euros, but def worth it) and made an accommodation for the next day to go back to the airport. Great place to stay the night before your flight. Recommended the restaurant next door which was great (Great Pizza and Suppli ). Came with good breakfast in the morning everything was great. Too far from the city to make a base for our trip, but great for staying the night before your flight. Can't think of any thing bad

• Karen (9/5): Peaceful, close to airport. Just what we needed after a 10 day busy cruise! - It is so peaceful. The front courtyard area is beautiful with lots of pretty plants. It’s in a neighborhood that felt totally safe (actually an Airbnb I guess even though booked on booking.com). We are at a lovely local restaurant. There is a nice supermarket around the corner and a small refrigerator in room.

• George (10/5): - Charming hotel near the airport. The owner was present upon check in and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was nice and contained a wide variety of items. Would have loved to stay longer and wander around the area, but we had to catch an early flight. Owner arranged for a taxi the next morning that promptly arrived and overcharged by $5 Euro which is our fault because we didn't negotiate the price upfront. Owner said the price should be $20 Euro and the taxicharged us $25. Everything was perfect--would definitely stay there again.

• caroline (9/5): A short pleasant stay in a typical non tourist Italian suburb well located for Rome's main airport. - The room included a large bathroom, and an entrance hallway with cupboards. The room was cleaned each day, beds made and fresh towels provided. The water in the shower was always hot. Frederico our host was very helpful and assisted us with our early arrival, weighing a case, setting up the tv with english subtitles and driving us to the airport. Provision of hand or grab rails in the bathroom for people with mobility issues especially in the shower. We ended up buying large cups to have a decent size cup of english tea, so I would suggest provision of larger cups in the area where patrons can make their own tea or coffee be provided. I would also suggest maybe the room could be made more spacious by mounting the tv on a wall side bracket and removing the current tv stand. The extra space beside the window would then enable a small table and two chairs.

There weren't many close options for restaurants that were in walking distance but the one we did go to twice was fantastic. There was some noise from the other customers in the night.

• Donna (10/5): Would highly recommend as a place close to Fiumicino airport. - The owner is very kind and helpful! The location is great for being close to Fiumicino airport. We were only there for 1 night in order to be close to the airport so I cannot say what is in the area for attractions. However, the owner goes above and beyond so he would be an excellent resource. Rooms are very clean as is the entire home. The mattresses were a bit firm which caused some muscle soreness. Probably would get used to that if we had stayed longer. Plus, better firm than too soft with no support. The home is very quiet also. Highly recommend! We liked this place. Other than a bit too firm mattress it was exactly what we needed to be close to the airport for our morning departure.

Everything was very clean the owner or manager was very nice and helpful and we used the shuttle to go back to the airport the next morning. Breakfast had several little choices of Italian breakfast items and it was delightful and quiet. We opted to eat at the sports bar about two blocks away for dinner and the food was delicious. We did take an Uber/ Taxi from Rome out to the Villa rosita. It was about 65 Euros. Nothing. Always very pretty with plants and I think the room has an air conditioner but in March we obviously didn't look for it

• ileana (9/5): Perfetta per la vicinanza all'aeroporto - La posizione di Villa Rosita era perfetta per noi che eravamo senza auto e dovevamo partire dall'aeroporto di Fiumicino. Il signor Federico è stato davvero accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Avevamo chiesto anche il trasporto da/per l'aeroporto e tutto è andato bene. La camera e il bagno erano ordinati e puliti. A cinque minuti a piedi da Villa Rosita, abbiamo cenato alla ottima Trattoria Al Monte: la consigliamo. Avremmo preferito poter fare colazione nella sala invece di dover prendere al self-service e mangiare in camera, per motivi di spazio e comodità. Un ripiano in più in bagno, dove poter appoggiare le nostre cose da toeletta, sarebbe davvero semplice da aggiungere e molto utile. E anche qualche gancio per appendere gli asciugamani usati.

The owner offers airport pick-up and drop-off, which is extremely convenient for late arrivals or early departures. Very friendly host and lovely, cozy apartments. A great option for a short stay.

• Wilhelmina Antonia (9/5): Aan te bevelen als je op Fiumicino moet zijn. - Eigenaar heeft me opgehaald van het vliegveld (€30,- retour) en weer teruggebracht de ochtend erop. Dat was heel comfortabel. Eenvoudige kamer, maar precies wat je nodig hebt voor 1 nacht. Stil, ondanks het feit dat je niet ver van het vliegveld slaapt. Aangenaam restaurant op 5 minuten lopen van het hotel. Het ontbijt was zelfbediening (er was niemand aanwezig) en bestond uit fabrieks-zoetigheid in plastic zakjes. Je kon koffie en thee zetten. Dat viel dus een beetje tegen, maar gezien de prijs van de overnachting was dit geen probleem voor mij.

He picked us up from the airport on time, the bedroom was immaculate and comfortable, with a beautiful garden view. There are good restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was included, and it was great! Nothing. All was just as expected.

Water pressure was good. Hot water was as it should be. Shuttle service at a reasonable price. Beautiful porch. Free tea and coffee. Public transportation in the area is not the greatest, but that is at no fault of the hotel.

Host was very gracious and offered a shuttle service to and from the airport for a small and reasonable fee. Was located in a neighborhood with a restaurant within walking distance that served good food. It’s right next to some recreation soccer fields so we enjoyed watching some soccer after dinner before heading to bed. Great place to stay if you have an early flight the next day.

Lovely setting with flowering gardens. We ate breakfast every morning on the large covered porch overlooking the front garden. Breakfast was prepackaged cereals & baked goods. Nothing wrong with the breakfast, just not what we anticipated.

It was immaculately clean and the rooms large. His garden is gorgeous and peaceful. Frederico is a charming gentleman and a great host and he advised us on best places to eat and walks we could do. Located close to Fiumicino it was perfect for a rest base on our long journey home. Everything was as we expected and more.

• Rosas (10/5): Convenient, affordable and comfortable - It gave us a place tu rest, a place to have a good enjoyble dinner, and overall a great beautifull space to spend the last day of our trip. (Plus de commodity of having someone pick us up and of at the airport😌) I have nothing really to complain about, all good.

Lovely outdoor eating area and convenient to pub and soccer club next door for a bite to eat. I didn’t realise the shuttle was 15 euro each way, although Frederico was very efficient and communication was great.
