- Barbara (8/5): - Room was small but adequate. Bathroom very small, shower extremely small, no place to set things except on window sill. Beds very comfortable. Check in was virtual, would have been nice to meet owners. Property was beautiful as well as clubhouse. Parking lot could use some painted lines, but we were one of three guests there at the time. Id stay again if i could get a lake view room with 2 beds.

We had to travel approximately 30 minutes to find a restaurant. By the time we got back to the room it was getting late and we could not get the tv to work the remote did not work properly
- Holly (10/5): Grand indeed! - Wonderful location on Grand Lake! We had breakfast on a lakeside picnic table, it was wonderful! We were just passing through on our way to the UP but would love to come back and stay! Our room was super clean and well decorated. We love it when we find a great pet friendly hotel, they can be hard to come by!

Ten minute drive to Presque Isle State Harbor (charter fishing available) and historic lighthouses on Lake Huron.

The room was very small but well decorated and clean. Our room had a view of the lake where chairs were available to sit. Some rooms do not have a full on lake view.

- Roberta (8/5): Sweet Place to Stay - We totally enjoyed our stay at Grand Lake Resort. The bed was so comfortable, the room was quiet, the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and the property was very nice. We used the grill to make supper one night and the clubhouse (which is brand new and about to open) was convenient with fridges and a sink for dishes. It will be a great asset to the property in the near future.

Had walk in shower and water was warm and the pressure was fine, compared to other reviews that said it wasn’t. I would go back to this place. I have been to many different places, high end and not. This place met my standards.

- E&TMarkle (10/5): - The hotel property had a very nice clubhouse( fireplace, lounging furniture, games, books, microwave, griddles, refrigerators) There was a lakeside firepit, hammock, chairs and grills for use. All of this for usage qhile being able to have the most beautiful view of a sunrise. Staff very pleasant. Cleanliness and Covid compliant.

- Amber (10/5): Enjoyed out 2 night stay - The area is beautiful. You hear NO noise through the walls. We went to the other beaches around though, as the beach there us really just a sandbox. They had a dock and stairs into the water, and we did swim the first night, but Huron was much better. The room was clean and comfy (we stayed in 12), though the water in the shower and toilet was a little smelly- juat the way it works by the lake though , nothing owners can do about that...lol. The clubhouse was pretty cool. Michelle was super friendly.

If ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here again. The water pressure issue must have been taken care of because plenty of pressure. You can tell that the owners have taken a lot of time and money to make this property cozy and updated.

- Becks (6/5): - The water at Grand Lake is beautiful and crystal clear! Stay somewhere else on the lake. The rooms were small cottages that were nice. New bedding and modern features such as a cable and wifi. Definitely a upgrade from camping. Water pressure sucked for long hair and did get shocked by the outlet. Room was decent for three people. The biggest regret of staying here were the other guests. Out of the four docks, three were filled with boats. They would fish when people were swimming off the dock. The started the engines with people in the water and didn't wait to push their boats out. Monopolized the ONE firepit every night untill super late including the chairs. I didn't appreciate squeezing my way into places like picnic tables or stealing them away from outside of the cottage door. Dogs weren't all on leashes and made it hard to control mine if they are wandering up and barking. Unless you rent out the entire place with family, its not worth it. I paid for things that I never got to use the three days that I was there. Mangers were nice but wasn't the vacay escape I wanted.

Stared out at the water for hours in a very calm and quiet setting. Already booked again for next year and might be a yearly spot to visit

There are two docks, a small sandy beach area for kids, a fire pit, a picnic tables, charcoal grills, and a community style room that has a big tv and kitchen conveniences. The lake is beautiful and crystal clear. rooms are quaint, and the two I were in had small kitchenettes . Perfect getaway!

The owners were very friendly and tried their best to keep up with requests.The layout of the resort was a bit odd. For instance I thought it was weird to look out my side window and see our neighbors through their picture window just off to the side. One thing I didn't like was people letting their dog of it's leash and having it almost bite me and bark at my wife and I. They were pretty disrespectful.

- TomS (10/5): - Nice quiet lakeside location with wonderful view. Expansive grounds, great open area. The pricicing was determining factor and well worth it. Host/hostess was very accommodating with very nice attitude. The room was very clean but spartan so those used to luxury amenities may not be satisfied. NO sofa but one lounge chair and desk/chair. Although a lakeside location on a primary highway the resort (although it is really a motel) is still in a relatively rural area. Grocery store is eight miles distant so be prepared to bring beverages, snacks, hair dryer, personal items with you.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible hotel stay away - This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The owner had knowledge that my room sheets and towels have not yet been changed. When got new blankets and towels they were still filthy. When asked for money back she said I got what I payed for.
