Amazing breakfast brought to the room. The furnishings are slightly dated and cluttered, but that is just my personal taste. The property is very individual and quirky.

Für alle Fans vom Film Nottinghill - alles fußläufig in 10 min zu erreichen ;-) Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich, wie in einer anderen Zeit. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch wenn es nur ein kontinetales Frühstück gab, war dies liebevoll angerichtet und lecker. Es ist ein altes Haus, mit seinem eigenen Charm. Es ist, als ob man in einen Antiquitätenladen einzieht. Es gibt keine perfekt eingerichteten Hotelzimmer mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Das sollte jedem bewußt sein. Wir haben uns dennoch sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. Es sind Kleinigkeiten, die leicht behoben werden können ;-)

Maybe adding boiled eggs to every breakfast would not hurt. Tap in the bathroom was hard to close so it does not drip. Fridge doesn't cool very well.

- Rhonda (10/5): I would highly recommend and hope to be back soon. - Perfect location for Notting Hill Tube and multiple bus stops to get to all that London has to offer. Portobello Street (multiple blocks of shops and stall to delight any visitor) is a few blocks away as are a multitude of shops and eateries on Pembridge. Perfect place to stay for my daughter and myself on our first trip to London. The staff is helpful, warm and friendly and the rooms are charming and impeccably clean. The entire B&B is elegant without being stuffy. We felt very safe in walking around the entire area which was very important to us.

Lots of pubs nearby and just a nice part of town. The intent of staying at a B&B for us was to get a bit of a homey feeling, a full English breakfast, and local insight. The property is a bit crowded in that room had too much furniture in it to truly be comfortable. The beds were comfortable but there was an extra chair and several extra tables and objects that meant it was very difficult to move around the room. The breakfast was delicious but was more of a European style with ample breads, cheeses and dairy products. There was no English breakfast option.

Très calme avec possibilité de se garer dans la cour pour 15 livres par jour... Chambre familiale pour 5 personnes... Personnel très agréable et sympathique ! Le petit déjeuner est très bon mais pas typique anglais ( ni saucisses ni œufs brouillés) La chambre n'est pas très grande pour 5 mais elle est propre.
- Ann Miller (10/5): Great value, especially in London. - This is a charming place. I loved the homey feel of each room. It felt like going back in time. We were well situated to get on the subway which we used everyday. Our group was staying in three separate rooms. The hostess, Elie, served us breakfast in the dining room each morning instead of in our rooms. This was perfect as we needed to talk and plan our day. She also had requested items on had to accommodate our dietary needs. In short, she did everything she could to be sure we were well cared for. It was nice to be in a neighborhood away from the tall buildings and heart of the old city. We were still within walking distance of several major attractions and Hyde Park. Loved it. The hotel might feel a little cluttered for some. I would perhaps remove some of the nicknacks and paintings so you can really see how beautiful the home is. It has so much charm! It would have been nice to have been able to use the wardrobe in our room as a closet for hanging our clothes.

- Christian (8/5): Une belle expérience d’hospitalité dans un très beau quartier de Londres - Maison très bien située dans Notting Hill , à 2 pas de Portobello Road et de l’arrêt de bus de Notting Hill Gate. Maison meublée avec du mobilier ancien , mais la chambre est très confortable et spacieuse. Le personnel est très sympathique et aux petits soins pour rendre le séjour très agréable. Un stationnement de véhicule est possible dans le jardin, ce qui est très pratique lorsqu’on vient avec sa voiture à Londres où le stationnement est compliqué.

Die Besitzer sind die liebenswürdigsten und hilfsbereitesten Menschen überhaupt. Die Lage ist einfach der Wahnsinn und das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut! The stairs leading up to the top of the house where really steep. I would advise buying new cotton bed sheets and the ones on the beds were tired and old. the bottom sheet had warn bobbles on it . It was a bit like a bed sit. Location was great though!

She is amazing. Immense gratitude to her for all her hard work and kindness. If you're looking for an authentic English B&B experience, this is it. Breakfast delivered to the room was a nice touch. I would stay here again for sure. Remember, this is an historic building. It's not a negative to me, but may be a turn off for some.
