- Desiree (10/5): Would without question definitely stay here again for sure - Location was super easy to get to the beach only like a 10 minute drive at best and not even 5 minutes to get to everything for food and shopping which was great.
The cottage was super super cute had a lot of charm, very clean and cozy. The bathtub is amazing and huge! The shower part was a little quirky to get used to but nothing crazy. The house had just about everything we needed on our trip.
- KayLynn (9/5): Loved it. Will be back - Very good location. Nice and quiet. Bed was nice. Room meet all our needs. Was clean. Room was a little stuffy . So had to keep a fan going all the time. Window over bed open fir a time. Neighbors in back outsude late but wasn't a problem. Good coffee provided. Window behind bed needs to be vacuumed out of dead flys and wiped out.
- Mi (9/5): -
- Lindsey (9/5): This cute and cozy spot was perfect for a little coastal getaway! - Close to town, cute and clean! Not a great place to walk our dog
- Katie (10/5): -
- Pratt (10/5): Adorably comfortable cozy cottage with everything you could possibly need. - This place had everything we could’ve possibly needed. Even things we didn’t know we needed. All of the amenities were great!! The coffee was delicious! This is the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in! Everything was better than we expected!
- Sandra (10/5): Enchanted Cottages by the Sea is a delightful place to stay in Seaview, Washington - Serendipity Cottage at the Enchanted Cottages by the Sea is a two bedroom small house that was great. It has a well stocked kitchen, a comfortable living room and a large dining room. There is also full bathroom and a half bath.
It is located near good restaurants and stores. It is several blocks to the beach.
- Godfrey (10/5): - No breakfast. I wish it had been closer to Ocean Park The price, including the $80 cleaning fee
- David (10/5): - We had an amazing time! The cabin is clean and spacious, you’re within walking distance of many restaurants and the beach. In fact, we rarely even used our car. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!
- Kristi (10/5): Peaceful haven - The Captain’s Cottage was absolutely perfect - cozy, peaceful and so, so comfortable - a haven away from any type of stress. The hosts Nate & Kimberly too were so kind and welcoming! All the small touches were just amazing. I can’t wait to come back!! Absolutely nothing - it was just exactly what I needed.

- Sherry (10/5): We loved our beach vacation! - We were on a family trip with three children. We stayed in the serendipity cottage. The children really appreciated the games that were available. The entire cottage was beautifully decorated very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and gadgets you need. Two bathrooms is a lifesaver with a family! The location is so nice! It's close to everything and not right in the middle of all the business. We receive multiple communications from the owners checking in on this and asking if we needed anything but they were not intrusive. The grounds or beautifully kept very homey and the outside fireplace was a really nice touch. It's not right on the beach but the beach is very very close. I hope we come back again.
- Rick (10/5): Excellent little cottage - This was such a cozy and beautiful cottage. We felt right at home. It was really well stocked. We were able to cook all of our meals. The beds were so comfortable. The road noise was a bit loud if we opened the door. It was also warm without a/c so we kept windows open. Overall it was excellent and we would stay there again.
- Angela (8/5): Cute cottage in good location - Location was great for visiting Long Beach, easy to park in designated spot. A very comfy bed, and all you need in kitchen for making meals. The space is a little cramped, not much space to unpack, there is a small wardrobe but no drawers, we only stayed 2 nights so not a problem for us but would be if staying longer.
- Emily (10/5): - Excellent very cute cottage! Everything you would need was provided, great communication from property owners. So much character!
- Jaimie (10/5): Ultra clean and comfortable! - We had a great time and loved the cottage. It was very clean and had more than we needed to stay comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed, the extra touches including coffee, creamer, seasonings and even oil for cooking made our stay that much more comfortable. The early check in process as well as adding our dog to the reservation were smooth and easy. Thank you! We will be back.
- Susan (10/5): - The cottage was lovely! We enjoyed our stay very much!
- Louise (10/5): Perfect. The hosts were communicative prompt and all the info was available when we needed it - Location was excellent.
- Hunt (9/5): Superb -
- Candice (10/5): Great family experience! - Our stay was amazing, I take my kids and my mom to Long Beach every year and this was our first stay at Enchanted Cottages. Beautiful cottage, the whole family loves it and did not want to leave. I have already promised my family we would go back and get the same cottage when we do. Thanks for the amazing experience at Enchanted Cottages!

- Ann (10/5): - We stayed in Serendipity. It was large, nice area to work from. Kitchen is large, well stocked. Complimentary coffee was a nice touch. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap. Close to everything, easy to walk.
- Vale (9/5): Cozy place to hang out with the family or have a jumping off point for adventures - Wonderful space, fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee, cozy blankets, towels and robes and easy location to get to restaurants, beach or shops or lighthouse! Discovery trail for walking, biking or running was about a 10 minute walk.
- Leslie (10/5): Perfect location for a relaxed stay bear the beach! - I spent a week at Enchanted Cottages (in the Captain’s Cottage, which is a studio apartment set up) and had a wonderful time. Simple, easy, taken care of! 2 minutes from the closest beach, great restaurants nearby plus a market and laundromat!
- Linda Marie (10/5): - Nate and his family made sure that every detail was tended to, and I was able to reach them via text when a couple of glitches developed when I first arrived. As I was attending a writer's retreat at the Sou'wester, a 3 minute drive away, and our weather was kind of chilly for much of the stay, returning on my extended breaks gave me a chance to tuck in, make a simple meal, and have a break from the intense engagement.
The extra touches, the beachy feel to the space, the grounds green and well-tended, and safety lights and programmed locks were much appreciated by this solo traveler. Sandpiper in my opinion is best suited for the single rather than a couple as the bathroom is very petite, and dining space for two is somewhat limited. As someone on her own, I loved the coziness of the cottage.
If your primary intent is to be on the beach be aware it's about a 2 mile walk to the Seaview entry off 38th Street. Casual dining and the grocery and fuel are all very close. I'm grateful for the respite at Enchanted Cottages!
- M (10/5): Great beach stay! - Our two night stay at the Enchanted Cottage was lovely. The room was adorable and cozy. Perfect for a couple and 2 dogs (with a very reasonable pet fee). Great communication and easy check-in/out; would happily book for future beach visits. Thank you! 😊
- Emily (10/5): Easy peaceful and comfortable! - It was very cozy and easy to find! It was great to have a cooking space as well.
- Raven (10/5): Great cozy place! - It was very cozy and the bed was super cozy! Everything was great! I liked everything!
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): We enjoyed our stay very much, while the rest of the PNW had a snow storm we were cozy in this cottage getaway It was - The decorations were very cute but not overwhelming.
The bed was amazing and the bathtub was inviting. We enjoyed the quirky upper level of this second level apartment/cottage. But my husband found some of the dormer spaces a little low and even though it wasn’t a problem for us the toilet is very close to the tub, but the charm over came that for us
If stairs are a problem for you this would have been tough but a year in PT I had no problem
- Sean (9/5): This was a Christmas gift that surprised my wife reliving our first anniversary together. We found a porcupine on the t - I love the themes of the cottages. The Captains Quarters was where my wife and I spent our first anniversary twenty years ago and had everything you need for a relaxing stay after hours on the beach.
- Jessica (10/5): - Such a cute cottage
- Carolyn (10/5): Great location, beautiful accommodations, accommodating hosts! - These cottages have been recently (and beautifully) renovated. All of the work was high quality and the details (colors, furniture, etc.) carefully chosen. The owner was more than gracious. We are elderly travelers, and the first night, our bed was much too soft for our aged backs. The host kindly offered us another cottage, which had a nice, firm bed.
- Tina (10/5): Beyond wonderful! - This is now my favorite place! When you park in your spot at night, motion detect ground lights come on for safety. Wonderful adjustable bed in sandpiper cottage. If you like cozy, you will LOVE this room. I LOVE cozy.
- Janessa (10/5): Clean family friendly cottage - The cottage was very nice and clean. Plenty of space for 4 adults and a toddler. Living room was comfortable and had TV with multiple streaming options. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials you would need plus more. Hosts responded very quickly to the couple small inquiries we had. Easy walk to multiple restaurants, bars, and even the grocery store. Make sure to check out Chico’s Pizza! We will definitely book again.
- Valea (10/5): We had such a wonderful time and would come again - Its cozy and clean and well maintained Personally, just not a huge fan of the gravel walk way, but it totally makes sense for the property
- Nagy (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the location, and the comfy cozy feel. The table is big and plenty of room to play games and Sit and eat together.
- Lynda (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about The Serendipity Cottage was a beautiful surprise. (I've been coming to the Long Beach Peninsula since 1980 and have driven by the Enchanted Cottages a few times a year, but have never stayed there.) I really wasn't expecting anything special.
My first reaction was quite a surprise to me. The homey comfort and feeling of the living and dining room struck me first. The rest of the house was equally warm and inviting. 2 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms, one with a bath/shower. So confortable staying here. Very cute outdoor areas also. We only stayed two nights and wish it would have been longer. The owners really put a lot of time and love into this 4 or 5 cottage compound.
- Jonathan (10/5): - A well equipped and cosy cottage that was ideal for two humans and two dogs for a couple of nights. Will stay here again when we are in the area.
- Beth (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (10/5): - Well appointed and comfortable. Hosts are nice and a bit over eager, but definitely available if you need something.
- Karmen (10/5): - This place was cute and cozy, and it was an easy check-in and check-out. I just didnt like that there wasnt much space around the toilet. It was too close to the tub.
- Jill (10/5): A great place! - Well appointed 1 bedroom apartment, very clean and spacious. Quiet. Nice checkin. Very well managed. Great view of harbor, nice clean patio with great chairs. Enjoyed it very much. Nothing
- Pam (10/5): Exceptional - The Captains cabin has just the right mix of antique and modern, in that all the things we are used to: microwave, Roku, wi-fi, etc are here. It's still the Captains cabin we have gotten used to over the years. Kind of lost count how many times we have stayed here.
Thanks to the new owners for keeping the traditions, and making nice improvements like the outdoor seating...!
- Eugene (9/5): lovely cottage with all ammenities in a great location. Seaview is a desirable area. - No breakfast. The parking was excellent with designated space. nothing was "unlikable"
- GHASSAN (10/5): art and taste - lovely and beautiful place
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- Gaffney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanie (8/5): - The Hollyhock Cottage was clean and cozy! Couch and Bed were very comfortable. We loved the variety of books there to learn more about the history of the area and the Pacific Northwest. Great short story book as well by the local author! Location was nice, close to Sids for last minute groceries and snacks. Although close to the main road, amazingly quiet. Overall, a great experience.
- Tom (8/5): Very recommendable and cozy - Wonderful and cozy.
- Kristine (10/5): We loved the Hollyhock and would definitely stay there again. It’s exactly what we wanted. - The decor was tastefully done, such a charming place, down to every detail! The bed was comfy, the bathroom spacious with a wonderful shower. I can’t think of anything.
- Gorman (10/5): Exceptional - A cozy, full-featured little hideaway that includes all the amenities for a short stay. Though intimate in size, it had all I needed and met my needs.
- Sean (10/5): Lovely home, will stay again as soon as possible. - Location is a short walk to the best eateries in Seaview. Loved its quaint size. My one suggestion. Is a small suggestion in the scheme of things, is make the Roku in the living room guest mode by default. So I do not have to remember to sign out of the movie services.
- Kenneth (10/5): Clean, comfortable, cute, and good location! Would stay here again! - Very clean, comfortable, and cutely decorated! The shower was fantastic and all toiletries provided. The Serendipity house worked great for our family, fits 6 comfortably plus they have a twin air mattress if needed. Hosts very helpful and communicative. Located on the Main Street of the town with traffic at all hours- however there are fans that help with white noise to block the sounds. There is no ac but the fans helped during the day and it cools down at night. We didn’t need the heater at all. There are people staying in the other cottages on the property but everyone has designated parking and it seems to work fine. It’s about a 10 min walk to the beach, and close to everything in town!
- Bret (10/5): Exceptional - Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend! Cute beach decor. Nice quality towels. Appreciated the smart TV and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen had basics, but maybe leave a tea bag or two for your tea drinkers. Also, in the unit where we stayed we needed to put something over the window on the door to block the light from coming in (there was a sheer curtain on it.)
- Matthew (10/5): - Very well decorated
- Curt (10/5): Great place to stay - The cottage was amazing. Well kept and decorated. Convenient location. Walkable to beach and several dining options.
- Maureen (10/5): - Cute, cozy place for a weekend stay!
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great. House was very clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed. Coffee bar setup was a welcome addition. We have been to Long Beach many times and this is one of the best places we have stayed!
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffrey D (10/5): - Real beachy, nice job decorating.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Kenwood (8/5): Cottage visit - Cottage was very nice. Bed was comfortable .
Cute and functional kitchen but a bit small.
We had trouble with TV as we do not have streaming accounts. If weather is nice who wants to watch TV but we had rain all the time we were there.
I would go back if visiting the area.
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Cory (10/5): Cozy and Lots More - EVERYTHING was perfect! The beds were super, with lots of extra blankets. The cottage is so cute and perfect for a small group or family. Communication was easy and prompt. Will definitely be back. The location is great, with shops, great beaches in both directions, and even a light house to go see. You can't go wrong! NOTHING..... OK, just one thing. Perhaps a little tea selection could be included?
- Kaufman (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (10/5): Cute little room that was clean and comfortable. We will stay again! - Location. Close to our family. Clean, quiet. Fully stocked. Bed was comfortable. Host was accessible by phone. Small space but efficient and worked for us! No way to cook but that was ok. We microwaved our eggs! How about adding a small egg cooker?
- Linda (10/5): The Sandpiper was the perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway for two. - The sandpiper was super cute and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. N/A
- Stephanie (8/5): Lots of old beach resort charm. - Very cute theme with vintage buildings. I Liked the ambiance of the original beach resort days of years past. We had a loft type room and my husband bumped his head on the few spots where the ceiling was low…but in defense of the establishment there were signs of warning about the ceiling elevation change!
We also had a room that only had a bathtub (with hand held shower head) and no standing shower. In the future we would probably book a room with a shower for ease of use. Although the claw foot tub did fit the old world feeling of the room.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): We had a great time! - This cottage was adorable! Super comfortable and cozy! It was super close to everything in town. I wish there were some curtains that weren’t see through to the outside room. You can only get to the restroom from the bedroom and there is a door with a window to the laundry room area, which is very visible. So some darker curtains would be a nice touch.
- Jason (1/5): Bad -
- Merry (9/5): I enjoyed a quiet getaway to this charming cottage a bit removed from the downtown beach crowds. - This was an adorable little cottage space with lots of thoughtful amenities (coffee, tea, creamer, lavender bubble bath, the sailboat folded into the toilet paper 🙂). The bed was super comfy, the tub was roomy, there was relatively high speed Internet, cable, and a Roku. The kitchen was tiny, but had all of the needed supplies for cooking reasonable meals. The nautical “captain” themed decorations were charming. It was also very quiet. The only bothersome detail was how close the toilet was to the tub. It was nearly impossible to face forward using the toilet. :)
- Joe (6/5): - The property was ok but the coffee table was broken. Manager said new one would arrive on Monday but they never replaced it all week.
Roku device was horrible. Apps said to replace Roku device as the one they had was so old it was outdated.
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Colleen (8/5): Very good - The bed was comfortable. the kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts sent welcome emails, and checked in after our first night to be sure everything was okay. I realize this is personal preference, but the place was so filled with stuff that there was little room for what I brought. When a space is so small, no need to fill every vertical and horizontal area with something. It felt cluttered. Also, the kitchen window molding needs serious cleaning.
If I'd realized (my bad) that we were right on the highway, I'd have avoided this place. The noise is quite loud and woke us during the night and in the morning.
- Laurie (9/5): Love it! - I enjoyed the nautical design. Owner very helpful. Nothing
- Martha (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (10/5): We had a great stay. - Breakfast was not provided. The location was very good in terms of being close (easy walking distance) to several great places to eat, and a grocery store. The beach was a nice less than10 minute walk away through a nice neighborhood. The cottage itself was super cute, and super cozy. We would definitely stay there again. The cottage is located on a main road which is less than ideal. Fortunately there was very little traffic.
- Randy (9/5): A true beach cottage! - Very clean room, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable bed. The only negative was traffic noise which is beyond the control of the owner's.
- Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful house with every amenity you can think of! - This rental property has two buildings: one building is a standalone 2-bedroom house, and the other is a house that's divided into three rental units--one on top, one on bottom, and one in the back. I am reviewing the 2-bedroom house, which is called Serendipity House. I can't say enough good things about this house! It's location in Seaview is in walking distance to the beach, and very close to a few good restaurants and a brewery. There's a fenced yard, which is great for a dog (and a toddler). The kitchen is the best-equipped rental kitchen I've ever seen; it had as many appliances and cooking tools as my own kitchen, including sharp knives, a crockpot, full sets of pots and pans, everything in brand new condition. The owner said he plans to add a BBQ and crab boil in the near future. The house was extremely clean, the mattress is very comfortable, and the whole place is beautifully decorated. I could happily live there. The owners are extremely nice, and they're working hard to make a go of these rentals. I'd happily stay there again. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Harley (10/5): Such a relaxing stay with plenty of fun and good food. - Quaint little studio in an adorable coastal town. Most everything was within walking distance. The studio was adorable and the hosts were very attentive. Nothing!!
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (9/5): Stay was great - The quiet privacy. Knowing more about working the tv
- Mcclure (10/5): My fabulous cottage stay in Long Beach - They provide everything for your get away! Site seeing pamphlets, family games, drawing and coloring supplies. The microwave stand on the wall was in the way for me. I'm short and I banged my head on the metal structure, more than I'd like to admit. Ouch. Small kitchen, not sure what the solution would be.
- Lori (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (10/5): Too good to keep secret! - We stayed in the beautiful & comfortable 1st floor of a split-level cottage, in the heart of Seaview, WA; the Hollyhock of Enchanted Cottages by the Sea. An extended weekend adventure w/a friend was shared in this adorable stay w/each of us bringing our pooch. Cute, clean & fully stocked. Conveniently located w/in walking distance to some phenomenal local dining establishments & quick drive down to & onto the beach. The hosts were available for consultation before, during & after our stay, but we didn't have need to reciprocate since everything was so thoroughly & thoughtfully communicated at every point of our stay. We can't wait to return to such a welcoming establishment for & with our fur babies! Only wish there was a grass/designated pet potty area.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - More quiet than expected. Bath tub was slow to drain.
- Nancy (7/5): Good -
- Melony (10/5): Lovely stay! Thank you! - Super cute and comfortable AND dog friendly! I traveled alone with my dog for a long weekend. Felt super safe and was so cozy. The property has brand new owners who are great at communication and so sweet. It was my birthday - they left me wine and chocolates! Thank you!
Place was clean. Had all I needed! I'm a bigger gal. Soft suggestion - bigger bathrobe. I SO took advantage of that lovely soaking claw foot tub!
This is not a complaint; suggestion only.
- Glennis (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (7/5): Beautiful but stinky! Keep the windows open! - We loved the whole cottage, all its amenities, and plenty of room and yard for dogs. The one and only thing that was sub-par was the gagging chemical smell inside. Doesn't make sense that they seemed so concerned about preventing smells (posting No Smoking signs and No cooking of strong smelling foods like meat and fish) but then doused the place with some kind of overpowering air freshener product? Had to keep the windows open (in Nov) just to breathe. Everything was saturated, stopped sitting on the couch cuz it stayed with my clothing when we went out. Luckily we were there for 4 nights and it eased up after 2 days. The place and location and company was top notch, otherwise the weekend might've been ruined. Please do your deep cleaning with better products instead of covering up with stinky chemicals! Will hesitate to book again.
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- Rochelle (9/5): Superb - good location
great price the toilet is too close to the bath tub. My boyfriend and I had to sit sideways because we are so tall.
- Elisha (10/5): The Mariners made the playoffs! - Being up high. Had everything we needed. The windows were plentiful. Girlfriend loves the bathtub.
