• Kristin (10/5): Ein toller Aufenthalt, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. - Nicht ganz preisgünstig, aber als Einzelperson mit Hund und unter der Woche ein tolles Erlebnis in einem wunderschönen, sauberen Zimmer. Hunde herzlich Willkommen. Toller Wellnessbereich. Alles war prima.

• Stephan (9/5): - Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort. Dieses Mal in einem Nebengebäude untergebracht. Das Zimmer eher nüchtern und mit weniger Charme als das erste Zimmer im Haupthaus. Schöne Saunaanlage. Feines Frühstücksbuffet. Schöne Gartenanlage und mit dem Gartenfenster ein attraktives Angebot direkt nebenan. Wenn einem beim Genussmenu der Hauptgang nicht passt, wird ein Zuschlag von 10.- fällig.
• Baur (9/5): - Sehr schöne kleine Wellness Anlage. Gutes Zimmer für die Reise mit Hund. Aufmerksam: mit bereitgestellter Hundedecke und Näpfe. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war lecker mit vielen regionalen Produkten.

• Michael (7/5): Es war nett, aber die Erwartung war höher. - Sehr freundlicher Empfang / Personal. Sehr schöner Wellness-Bereich. Zweckmässige, stilvoll und saubere Zimmer. Sehr schöne Blumen und Gartenanlage. Essen: Menue insgesamt etwas enttäuschend (Preis / Leistung / Vorspeise zu fad, Hauptspeise zu rezent, eine davon bereits etwas kühl, Dessert im Verhältnis zu gross, geschmacksarm (Süssmost-Creme) und schlecht präsentiert. Sanitäte Anlage im Zimmer: Duschwand defekt, Wasserhahn rinnt am Sockel bei Betrieb.

• Schiegg (5/5): - Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Unterkunft befand sich in einem Nebengebäude, war zwar sauber aber nicht gerade ruhig. Von Wellness Bereich hatten wir mehr erwartet. Wir freuten uns auf das Nachtessen mit 3 Gängen, das vermochte aber für den Preis, welcher höher war als die Unterkunft mitsamt Wellness nicht zu überzeugen, auch die Bedienung war der Preisklasse nicht angemessen

War leider zu kurz da um das zu nutzen. Um in das Restaurant zu gehen muss der Wohnbereich nach draussen verlassen werden. Bei Regen ist daher ein Schirm ganz nützlich dazu. Unterkunft / Essen alles in top.

• Leah (10/5): Superb, best hotel experience we've had - We booked this a couple of hours before we arrived as we are driving to France. This has to be one of the best stays we've had in any hotel. The village itself is gorgeous and very quaint. The hotel is immaculate and full of character and charm. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The spa was unexpected and we had it all to ourselves. The food in the restaurant was superb. We will definitely use this chain of hotels again and would love to return to this hotel. A truly wonderful stay.

• Katalin (10/5): Beautiful hotel, excellent food in its restaurant - Amazingly beautiful hotel. Very cozy, clean and a fantastic concept with the cozy restaurant, lovely garden and decoration atelier shop. Its restaurant has excellent food. The staff was slow and there was a new waitress, who had no clue about the drinks and the food that the restaurant carries. Very unprofessional. Very strange communication too. Again, the food was excellent and the other waitresses were kind. But a bit slow. And forgot the water that I ordered. I stayed at this hotel twice before ca. 7 years ago. Then the service in the restaurant was excellent too.

Villeicht könnte man eine Kaffeemaschine auf jedem Stock aufstellen. Wenn es sich einrichten lässt kommen wir wieder. Uns hat der Wellnessbereich am besten gefallen.

• Frank Peter (10/5): Sehr nobles Hotel - Ein sehr nobles Hotel, für 250 Jahre macht es schon was her. Klasse Zimmer, gute Betten, saubere Zimmer. Sehr schönes Ambiente und das Restaurant ist Spitzenklasse. Das Personal ist ebenfalls super freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Die Zimmer sind elegant, großräumig aber in rustikaler Aufmachung - ein stimmiges Bild. Der Frühstückspreis ist mehr als O.K., parken geht kostenlos vor der Tür. Der Ort ist sehr klein, Übernachten, Essen, Freizeit in der Natur ist hier angesagt.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Anhenehmer Aufenthalt - Das Hotel Bären liegt mitten in einem kleinen Dorf in schöner Umgebung und bietet einen Wellnesbereich (welchen ich leider nicht genutzt habe). Die Zimmer sind recht groß bei guter Aussattung. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und wurde immer nachgelegt. Mein Zimmer war leider im Untergeschoss zur Straßenseite, wo direkt eine Bushaltestelle war. Daher war das öffnen der Fenste leider nicht möglich. Im Sommer sicherlich ein Negativpunkt. Für die Winterzeit war es jedoch ok. Alle in allen ist der Aufenhalt zu empfehlen.

• roger (10/5): Dans le style de la région... romantique - J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel deux nuits pour mon travail dans les régions alentours; l’hôtel est très accueillant avec des chambres spacieuses ; le resto est un gastro étoilé ; nous sommes véritablement dans le style vieille ferme de cette région ; la seule petite déception serait le déjeuner, assez maigre en comparaison d’autres établissements, en tout cas pas très digne d’un restaurant étoilé ! Le personnel est sympathique et serviable

• Uwe (8/5): ruhige Umgebung, trotz Hauptstrasse - Das Hotel liegt in eine sehr ruhigen Umgebung in der Zentralschweiz, zwar an der Hauptstrasse aber für Spaziergänge bestens geeignet. Leider gibt es keinen Wasserkocherr für das Zimmer, was ein echter Mangel ist. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist wirklich vorzüglich.
• Jeannine (6/5): Hübsche Fassade - Uns wurde zum Glück beim Check In gesagt, man gebe uns ein Upgrade und wir erhielten Zimmer 20. Wir können uns nur schwer vorstellen wie zwei Erwachsene in einem noch kleineren Zimmer schlafen sollten. Auf 2 Gläser Wein und ein Mineralwasser haben wir am Abend 20 Minuten warten müssen. Auch beim Frühstück bräuchten wir viel Geduld.

• Dennis (8/5): Too much for too little for romance - The hotel is two buildings and it was difficult checking in and then getting to our room. The room was very hot and they told us it would be cool in an hour, they shut off the heat. The room was very small for $120/night. The place was well decorated and the location was out of the way to get into Bern quickly, about an hour away. The breakfast was the worst we saw all week with poor selections and no warm food. This was a poor cost to value experience. For your romance go elsewhere.
