• iwata (1/5): 最低でした。 - １泊2日で利用しました。　 本当に最低でした。事前にホテルに予約確認の電話をしましたが確認するのに3日もかかる、対応した夜の男性スタッフが上から目線でとても不快。　 当日値段が安かったので、期待していませんでしたが、浴場のシャワーも壊れてる物が多くまともに使えるのを探すのが大変。　 高齢の母が脱衣室に荷物を忘れて、男のスタッフに問い合わせすると、鼻で笑う、敬語がつかえない、自分で探してとの事。もう不愉快なので表に出ないで欲しいです。　 電話対応のスタッフがこのスタッフだとすぐ分かりました。 最悪な草津旅行でした。

• oka (6/5): 予想通りでした。 - シーズン中でも、お値段は、リーズナブルでよかったです。 お食事の種類は、豊富でしたが、揚げ物がしょっぱかったです。 ソフトクリームのカップも小さいし、バニラ味は、好みが偏ります。せめて1種類にするなら、ミックス味とか御検討して頂きたい。
• LILI AGUSTINA MAY (6/5): - The hotel is outdated and located about a 10-minute walk from Bus Station, 15 minutes to city center Yubatake. However, the spacious free of charge indoor and outdoor public baths are a big plus. The tatami room and aminties are okay. Both breakfast and dinner offer good variety and value for the price even beer, with friendly and attentive service from most of the staff. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by one receptionist — the only staff member who spoke some English — who was somewhat rude and responded abruptly in a mix of Japanese and English. His attitude detracted from what could have been an otherwise pleasant onsen stay.

• akiko (8/5): エネルギーチャージありがとう！ - 建物は、時代を感じますね。でも、清掃は行き届いていましたよ。 朝食付き(バイキング)のコースでしたが、とても良かったです〜♪ 一人旅、二泊でとてものんびり出来て良かったです。週末に掛けての宿泊でしたので〜平日より料金は上がってましたが、眺めの良いお部屋にして頂けた様で〜お部屋からの緑や西の河原公園、スキー場を見る事が出来、お部屋での時間が凄く良かったですよ。

• George (3/5): As long as you’re not expecting much, it was OK. - The location was OK. The view out the window was really pretty. It was pretty rundown. The bathroom reminded me of something you’d find in a train.
• Khor (8/5): It was excellent, will come back again. - Location was great, and the breakfast. I looked out directly to the ski slopes, absolutely stunning. Being able to experience local breakfast in a buffet style was excellent. Some people may have certain dietary requirements, so this style was great. Selection was marvelous. The room was a little old but very comfy. The bathroom however may need some improvement. I have not told the management but the shower head water sprayed everywhere but in a straight line, but this may be down to luck. And I am sure they will do something if mentioned.

• Claudia (4/5): - Se nota que es un resort en horas bajas. Las instalaciones necesitan renovarse. Le falta bastante limpieza. No hay champú ni gel de baño en el baño de la habitación; sólo hay en los baños públicos del mismo hotel. No puedo opinar sobre la comida. El almuerzo es bastante típico japonés. Es buffet pero poca cantidad. Si no bajas a almorzar a primera hora encuentras pocas cosas para escoger. Tiene un bus que te lleva al centro de Yubatake y que pasa cada hora. El primer bus sale a las 8:00 de la mañana. El último bus del día sale alas 18:50 del hotel y te recoge a las 19:00 en Yubatake. Más tarde de esta hora hay que hacer el camino a pie, aunque no está lejos de Yubatake.

• Takashi (6/5): - 館内は昭和を思わせる雰囲気。館内温泉は24時間ok。水栓、ドライヤーなどコンデションの良くないものがあるので、注意。風呂のロッカーはないので自己管理が必要。フロントの対応は6時〜22時迄。朝食は事前に利用時間を記載された利用券を渡されるので普通に利用できます。朝食のコスパはかなりいいです。食材の配置が独自の部分があり、全体を良く見渡した方が良いかと。草津温泉の宿泊料金の中ではリーズナブルなホテルです。

• Anita (8/5): - Communication issues,however the lady was accommodating and tried her best to attend to my needs. Matress was hard,pillows are very small with grains. Room spacious,no toiletries in the room other than bar of soap have to pick up daily towel,toothbrush with paste in the lobby. Buffet breakfast from 8-850 am was delicious👍

• Daniel (9/5): Great place to stay in Kusatsu, especially if you want meals included! - The food was very good. The rooms were more spacious than I expected. Each room had two beds as well as a small table with 2 chairs and a balcony. The view from the 9th floor room of the mountain and ski slopes was excellent. the onsen bath had large indoor and somewhat smaller outdoor natural hot spring baths. They provide an hourly free shuttle to the center of the town (yubatake) and also free shuttle service to the ski area. The TV had a very small screen. The location was just far enough from the town center that it would have been hard to walk, but they had the free shuttle anyway. Having a cold water plunge bath would have been quite nice, and there is plenty of space to put one in.
• Howie (8/5): - The hotel provided a huge breakfast buffet. The room was large and had a closet that two children could live in. I didn’t see any English-speaking people and most signs were only in Japanese. Most of the staff did not speak English. The lobby decorations were decades old and not coordinated. A large and noisy children’s arcade was adjourned but few children were present-maybe years ago. The price was low compared to modern hotels but the rooms were warm and the onsen was nice. The property was tired but a good value.

• タケマサ (8/5): - 草津温泉は、家族で月に2-3回行く大変お気に入りの場所です。移動手段は、車ですが、草津までのルートを、毎回変えていますが、山並みの季節移り変わりも楽しみの一つです。11月初旬からは、紅葉が綺麗な山道も、見どころです。

• Yukina (6/5): - 湯畑まで歩いて出掛けることも出来る距離で便の良いホテルでした。 湯畑までの送迎バスもありました。 草津の雰囲気を楽しむという目的であれば良いホテルだと思います。 ただ食事や温泉を目的とするのであれば、私は別のホテルに行きます。 食事は朝・夕バイキング、温泉は源泉が高温で有名な草津なのにぬるい。 次に草津に来る時は、違うホテルに伺うかもしれません。

• Cornelis (2/5): - Zeer oud hotel, gedateerde kamers. Badhuis wordt niet schoongemaakt. 15 minuten bergopwaarts lopen vanaf het busstation. Je gaat in dit hotel letterlijk terug in de tijd.

• Yuk Lan Hilda (10/5): - 旅館有一定的歷史，設施比較舊，有點回到從前的感覺。離湯畑有一定的距離，大約15分鐘吧（如不走錯路），且要上斜坡。但周邊很安靜，溫泉和露天風呂很舒服，整體上亦算乾淨。最難得是有大露台，外面是一片叢林山景。以這個價錢而言，cp值算是極高，整體上我個人是非常滿意的。 之前見comments上頗多負評亦有點擔心，因budget有限亦決定一試，但老老實實，一分錢一分貨，我覺得這間旅館已經交足貨人。真心想幫這店平平反。將心比己，人地都要維皮嘛，下次再嚟，希望仍能住這平價酒店。

• Herbeth Lim (8/5): - Great deal for the price! Walkable to other areas, easy parking, and the breakfast buffet (mostly Japanese) had a good selection. The hotel also has an onsen (one outdoor) within its grounds. The beds and pillows were too hard for me, but overall, great value for money!
• kuninori (4/5): - スキー場が近い。 天狗山が見えるロケーション。 スキー場までの送迎がある。 湯畑までの送迎もあるし、徒歩でも行ける距離。 レンタルスキーも充実していて、関係者も親切です。 この様な状態でも、価格が安く、長く滞在するには、とても良い条件です。 しかし、温泉の問題なのか、部屋の匂いが臭くて、コロンをかけないと、いられないほど。
• Rebecca (8/5): Good hotel with onsen for the price - The room looks old but clean and quite spacious. The place was on top of the hill, walking there is a little tiring but they have a bus to take you to the main tourist spot and back (this also means the place have a great view). There are indoor and outdoor onsen as well as a sauna. The yukata are cute. Breakfast is a buffet with good food. The breakfast time is quite fast, only 50 mins. No amenities in the bathroom but they have it in the onsen.

• Rochelle (7/5): A simple place to stay if you speak Japanese and are familiar with the food and customs. Comfortable and affordable. - Price and dinner and breakfasts included were satisfying. Shuttle bus was convenient. It was a bit far from the centre of town.
• Clio (8/5): - Place was okay, clean enough but not to standard. If you're ok to just sleep there then I would recommend it but you get what you pay for on the cost since it was cheap. I would not recommend it for someone who has a higher standards. But if it's just a place to have a base because you're out and about all day, then it's fine. No on amenities in the room. I would recommend using the onsen in the hotel, it was. They also have a outdoor one in the hotel and it was lovely in the evening.
