• Jaime (10/5): A totally relaxing experience. - My partner and I had a wonderful time. It was just the relaxing break we needed. The staff were lovely. The food in the restaurant was great. We had a menu del dia and returned for the evening meal. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the Real suite and it was beyond our expectations. We treated ourselves to massage too and they were absolutely lovely. It really was a relaxing experience.

• Gary (8/5): A good base to discover nature in the forest - Staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is in the middle of the old town. Lots of history. The room was very clean. Although the room was very clean, a few maintenance issues let it down slightly, the TV remote didn’t work, the electric window blind wasn’t functioning, and the shower head was quite loose. Breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to the “exceptional” ratings we’d seen on other recent reviews. It’s a basic continental breakfast served on a tray, so there’s no choice or flexibility. Much of it leaned towards processed, high-sugar items (such as sweetened granola, white bread, cake, Nutella, and packaged waffles), and we noticed many of these were left uneaten on other tables. The tray also included soft cheese, ham, fresh tomato, jam, olive oil, and orange juice. A few fresh and healthier options like seasonal fruit, avocado, wholegrain bread, Manchego cheese, or eggs & other plant based proteins would really improve the experience.

Cada rincón del hotel tiene encanto, paredes de piedra, techos de madera la decoración muy rustica, el ambiente espectacular, la gente que trabaja allí son encantadores Mara es un amor de persona. La música del ambiente es brutal. Muy limpio y acogedor. Una bombonera, repetiremos sin dudarlo. Pueblo tranquilo y bonito, con rutas de senderismo espectaculares. Nos gustó todo.

• Nigel (10/5): Excellent Boutique Hotel - This small hotel is a hidden gem. The furnishings give it a very special atmosphere. The staff were efficient but very friendly. The room and the attached bathroom were very comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was not cheap but it was well prepared and tasty. The breakfast buffet came on a specially designed tray to the table and yet again was excellent. I would strongly recommend this as a place for a short stay. Parking is a challenge but worth the effort.

• Jose Ramon (10/5): Hotel tranquilo - La ubicación del hotel, la atención y amabilidad del personal, la amplitud de la habitación, el colchón de la cama, el restaurante , y el tener un parking gratuito muy cerca. En principio todo ha sido perfecto, quizás por poner alguna pega, diría que falta un poco de insonorización, ya que las puertas son macizas y algún que otro portazo hemos oído, pero nada importante. El hotel es tranquilo, y es totalmente recomendable.
• Kirstin (10/5): The BEST hotel either of us have ever stayed in. - This was the second time we'd stayed in Hotel Casa Babel. The quality and style of this hotel is incredible. We were SO impressed the first time that we swore we would have to return. We did. And this time, we promised we'd have to come back again, only for more time. The reception staff are genuinely LOVELY. The jacuzzi in our suite was a wonderful surprise. And as for the breakfast... very, very special.

• Paul (10/5): Fantastic hotel. - Characterful traditional Spanish hotel. This was a one night stopover for me on the way to the airport and it was just right as the town is very quiet and laid back. All facilities you could want and attentive staff. I was in a building separate from the main hotel but only a short walk away. Large bed/living room and shower room. Located in centre of Villa Longa with all services to hand. Parking is not a problem. Good value for money and a cut above alternative options. I was very happy with my room in a separate building but I didn't get to judge the main hotel rooms.

• Ana María (10/5): Hotel Babel - Nos han encantado todas las recomendaciones de Nando, gracias a él, hemos pasado unos días estupendos y hemos disfrutado mucho de todo el entorno. La recomendación de la ruta del Racó del Duc fue todo un acierto, al igual que las playas. Todo el personal del establecimiento es super atento y amable, tanto los desayunos como la comida del restaurante de 10, sin duda es una experiencia para repetir. El hotel es espectacular y la decoración es preciosa. La habitación es increíble, súper equipada y super cómoda Lo único, es que las habitaciones no están del todo aisladas y como todo el espacio de la recepción y el comedor del restaurante es diáfano, se oye todo el ruido, así que si tienes el sueño ligero, con nada te vas a despertar.

The hotel exceeded our expectations—I’m always amazed by hidden gems like this, tucked away in small villages. It’s one of those rare places you genuinely want to return to, simply because of the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the warm, welcoming attitude of the staff. On top of that, the food in their restaurant was fantastic. I ordered a steak, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! The AC in our room worked loudly.

Volveremos para intentar disfrutar más de las instalaciones ya que fue una estancia muy fugaz. El aire acondicionado hace ruido y está colocado justo delante de la cama, por lo que te da de pleno. Las almohadas podrían ser un poco más altas.

• Webster (9/5): A very nice quiet stay where all the staff are very friendly and helpful. - Staff very friendly, i was sent messages welcoming me the day before and on the day a nice touch. The breakfast was served on a long large tray with everything you could want continental style. A very nice peaceful enviroment for a relaxing stay. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel, maybe the air con in the room was a bit noisy some of the time.

Con decoración de casa señorial valenciana de finales del siglo XIX y las comodidades de un hotel actual, incluso tenía secador de cabello en el baño de la habitación El spa está en un edificio anexo y había que salir a la calle, y se reducía a jacuzzi, ducha de chorros y sauna
