Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Run down, noisy as the rooms surround the pool/table area and staff don’t care if there’s people there at all hours. Shower and toilet not flash but it’s cheap.
- Ayako (6/5): Good a little accommodation - The staff was kind and friendly. The room was good too. Only the location wasn’t good enough for me.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok - Mosquitos inside bathroom.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Upon arrival the staff were not aware that I had a booking with them. I was shown to a room with twin beds that only had sheets on them. No blanket or bedspread. No towels were in the room, there was no soap in the bathroom which had a dirty bath. The shower head was blocked with limescale and water trickled out through 1/3 of the holes in the shower head. The bathroom door handle was completely loose, and cardboard was stuffed in the locking mechanism to keep the door closed. There was no fridge or bottled water in the room and no cable television ( The television wasn’t even plugged in) the aircon worked in that it blew air like a fan that wasn’t cooling. The temperature could not be adjusted by the remote that had no backing plate. The ceiling looked unstable with plaster peeling, the walls were filtjy and the bedside light did not work.i went back downstairs and asked for another room. I was shown two other rooms that were of the same terrible standard. I left my luggage in the third room, looked for another hotel through Expedia and booked into the Legian Village Hotel. I did not stay for one night in the hotel, went back to collect my bags, booked out the same day and enjoyed my stay at the Legian Village Hotel. I would like a refund for my initial hotel booking, as the facilities were neither comfortable or healthy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Old property. Very good value for money, but don’t expect any modern facilities. Bathrooms, bedroom cupboards and beds are very old.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel near to the beach, lots of shops n warung.
- Colin (6/5): - Great bed great location staff were fantastic.Pool area could do with a bit update.
- yew hoon (8/5): No Frill Budget Hotel - Small 2-story hotel with a small pool. Hotel location in Hotels.com is NOT accurate. My room 103 on ground floor is facing the pool. Good Wifi signal and Breakfast is cheap starting from 25K. No Frill budget hotel. Room need so upgrading works.
- Shabbir (2/5): - Although I booked for deluxe room , they tried to allocate me a very dark room(standard according to them). After that I found there was only one room was in use out of 13. I booked for 3 person room but I had to pay extra IDR80000 for third person bed(actually that was a mattress only). Shower conditin is very poor out of 10 it can be marked as negative 20. Toilet tissues were harder than newspaper. Toiletries means only one soap and a toilet tissue.
DONT EVER THINK ABOUT GOING THERE.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Staff were nice and pool was clean but they were the only good things about this hotel. The rooms are very old and need repairs. Room was dirty and our shower had huge cracks in the shower screen. We found a used soap in the shower and cockroaches in the room. The air conditioner did not keep the room very cool and the TV was useless and is as old as the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel, better choices in the area.
- KEN (10/5): - Value for money, quiet location,close to shopping , eating , beach & bars.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice small hotel. Quiet, short walk to beach. - Sri Ratu is a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely.
- david (10/5): - Great stay people nice
Well looked after
- Peter (8/5): Sri Ratu, A little gem. - This hotel is tucked between 2 main roads. Quite location with no traffic noise. You can walk to the beach in 10 minutes with shopping near by. The hotel is a older style with nice gardens and pool area. The staff all very nice and helpful. The rooms were OK for the price. The shower in my room could have been better but I got by. Some of the rooms have newer shower rooms. Would I stay again, YES.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice simple and friendly - This is a simple and very friendly place to stay. Rooms basic but very clean.
Air con and lovely pool
- doug (10/5): a rare clean place - first place of the many we,ve stayed, where sheets are actually washed, and changed every day.floors are cleaned with mop and water! breakfast is good and varied.
a good safe, in the office,
people here are quiet, gardens , relaxing.
handy to everywhere, staff are honest.
- Matt (4/5): Horrible - I chose this hotel because in the reviews it was mentioned it was quiet, unfortunately it was quite the opposite. My room was on the ground floor close to reception and I heard talking and laughing all night. Loud talking and shouting started at 5am and the noise from the nearby restaurant was constant until checkout, I certainly could not relax in peace.
Expectations cannot be too high for the price, however, I have stayed in other hotels in Bali at a similar price that are far superior to this hotel. The room was tiny and out dated with an old tube style TV that only had Indonesian channels, not one English.
The rap fittings were all stained with scum and the shower was cold for 5 minutes then scalding hot no matter what the control did.
The bathroom smelled of sewerage.
To top things off, the curtains did nothing to block the bright lights all night and made my sleep even more disturbing with an illuminated room.
Overall not a pleasant experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): This hotel is like staying with a family. - The staff are all so friendly - they have all been there for years. The rooms are cleaned beautifully every day. It is only a short walk to Legian Beach, a short walk to Bintang supermarket and close to as many shops as you could possibly want and many restaurants and bars.
- Jenna (8/5): Good location and value for money - Has all the facilities you need - ensuite bathrooms, pool, free breakfast; and is within walking distance of the most popular areas in Legian and Seminyak.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A nice no thrills hotel - Booked the queen size bed. Good hotel to stay, not dated and staff is friendly. The hot water took a couple of calls to reception to fix and after all was ok
