- Bob (7/5): For a clean, small rooms on a tight budget, this place can't be beat! - Warm and welcoming staff and very clean room. Good for a couple but not recommended for a family due to the small size of the rooms. Other than room size nothing but positives for this Motel. Try and park on the outside spaces for a little more space especially if you have a larger vehicle. Parking good but a little tight. Wish the room and bathroom were a bit larger. Shower drain wasn't great but not terrible either.

- Sina (4/5): - The person responsible for giving the keys was great. This isn’t a review about staff. He accommodated our late arrival which was kind of him. But. The SHEETS. There was hair all over it, crumbs and the bathroom was not cleaned. It was as if the cleaning people just made the bed. The floors were disgusting. We absolutely had no choice but to stay, we only booked for the night. This was a last minute decision, book the night before since we already had our vacation booked elsewhere in WW. Details just so you get why we had no choice.

- Dawn (10/5): Very clean and comfortable older motel - Very comfortable and convenient location. Two blocks away from the boardwalk. The staff is very friendly as well. The rooms are older, but very well maintained . We will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, but very basic—definitely bare bones. If you’re used to luxury accommodations like the Four Seasons, this won’t compare, but it’s fine for a night or two. In my opinion, even during peak season, this hotel is worth about $200/night. I paid $350 because I booked last minute, and supply and demand drove the price up. At least the A/C worked well (it can freeze you if you want!). Overall, a clean, safe place with great staff, but don’t expect frills—and be prepared for higher prices if you book late. - Wildwood is overcharging for Rooms. There are a lot of places you can get a better deal.

- Janine (6/5): - I had higher hopes for this property based on all the good reviews. The floor was filthy but couldn’t tell until the floor got wet in the bathroom and I wiped them up with a towel that turned grey instantly. We were told that our beds were queens but they were not and told us they measured 60 inches across- I’m 61” tall and it came to my lower calves when laid across the bed. The parking was very tight and we had to park in the emergency parking spot out front the second night. We did not get a chance to swim but the pool looked good. The water was hot for the shower but the stall had peeling paint on the floor. It smelled slightly of chlorine or bleach. The TV uses an old fashioned remote that was dirty. The front desk lady was nice and came to show us how to wiggle the key to get it to work. We will probably not stay here again. However, I was thankful there seemed to be no bugs.

Mini fridge, microwave, pool were a great plus! Nothing fancy. We loved the laid back retro vibe. Wasn’t sure when house keeping came by. The TVs picture quality was poor but didn’t mind so much.

- Adrian (8/5): Had a good stay, would visit again. - Decent Jersey shore motel, 1 block from the beach and from a bunch of restaurants etc. There's a small pool to splash in. Everything in the room was functional (AC, refrigerator, TV, wifi internet access, shower etc) and clean. Staff was incredibly friendly, *all* of them. The Surfcomber is fine for a mid-range motel, there's not much to complain about really. That being said, the AC in the room was quite noisy. Also, there isn't much shade on the premises.

Rooms are clean and well taken care of, Parking on site - although it does fill up, But they have other options for you. The pool was nice and clean as was the lounge chair area. This year (2025) we enjoyed the bigger fridge, nicer kitchenette and by replacing the sink with a smaller one it gave the bathroom more space. We enjoyed the refreshing look. First, let’s start with parking - it’s tight, someone can easily hit your car. The rooms are small, the room smelled old, mattresses were so bad - I have the worse back ache & so does my daughter. The walls are thin, last night there was a couple fighting very loud and let’s just say they were ghetto, raunchy & I knew all their business. The bathroom is so small. thank God we only stood 2 nights - not what I expected but I guess you get what you pay for. The only good thing is the location.

The cost per night compared to other hotels in area was the deciding factor. I missed their luxury coffee machine that is in their office area that was under renovation during our stay.

I'd not a big luxurious suite but totally fine if you're planning on going out for fun anyway. The receptionist was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. - Cynthia (4/5): You truly get what you pay for - Location Ants in the room. After I went to front desk owner came by and asked me what I wanted to do about it. No sorry. I had to ask to have the room cleaned thoroughly as he did not offer me to switch rooms. Luckily I was only there two nights. Room also smelt so awful as AC was not on. To keep room bearable have to have AC blasting to keep musty smell out.
