- Ian Rayner (10/5): Good base for a few days - Great Hotel tucked away in a side street yet so close to Buckingham Palace and all main tourist areas. We selected it for its location and ease of access to various tube lines and trains (via Victoria). Room wasn't big but was OK for a couple of nights, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was fine and there was no noise from outside at night. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful. We arrived early in the morning so they kindly looked after our luggage and took the time to message us when the room was available. Would certainly stay here again. Nothing.

- Sarah (8/5): A super hotel in a great location with really lovely staff. Will definitely be back and will recommend to family and fri - The hotel is super central and in a very safe and convenient area of London. With just a short walk from Buckingham Palace and Victoria train station you really couldn’t have asked for more. Staff were super pleasant and friendly, they even put together a lovely 30th birthday surprise for us. The facilities inside the room were super, with a coffee machine, kettle, sink and microwave. I drew the short straw and was on a camp bed, the room was advertised as ‘3 single beds’, they weren’t exactly lying but it definitely wasn’t as comfy as a proper bed so this was slightly disappointing but it was fine.

L'emplacement vraiment super, à côté de tout à pied, ce qui nous a valu de belles balades en famille chaque soir à Saint James Parc. Les chambres sont très bien isolées. Et merci au personnel pour les cadeaux pour l'anniversaire de notre maman que nous avons trouvé dans la chambre à notre arrivée. C'était très touchant et très personnalisé. Superbe séjour.

The staff was very friendly; Gela in particular was actually quite helpful to us as we were struggling to get British Airways to deliver our luggage after it got separated from us during our flight to London. We would definitely consider returning.

The hotel staff was amazing -always so welcoming, warm, friendly , helpful and went above and beyond to assure our stay was a wonderful one- best front desk staff ever! The rooms were vert attractive and super clean . We appreciated the mini fridge, coffee station, plates, microwave, etc. as it was a definite added convenience. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were luxurious! We highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone staying in London!

We chose it because of the location being convenient for the run but would stay again if looking for a hotel in London. Sockets inside the wardrobe with a full length mirror! At last, someone who designs a room with thought. We also had a mini kitchen, discreetly positioned behind double doors. It had a microwave, filta tap, fridge etc. The filta tap is genius. No need to keep purchasing water, just refill bottles. We booked with an offer, we had a lovely bottle of wine and welcome card in the room. The hotel is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. The area is lovely, some fabulous bars, cafes and restaurants. A short walk to Victoria tube station. All staff were wonderful, polite, friendly and made us feel really welcome. This is now my favourite London hotel. I can't wait to come back.

The room was spotless and fresh, I opened what I thought was a wardrobe but it was a kitchen, fridge, microwave, sink, glasses, everything you need for a night in, great to be able to have hot food. Location was very quiet, but shops, Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace within a stones throw. Will 100% stay again, worth the price, staff so very helpful.

We were extremely thankful when our room was ready for us upon arrival from a red eye flight. The baby cot we requested was already set up and the staff accommodated us to be in a room adjacent to family. All the staff was very friendly. When we were in our room we never heard anyone in the hallway or adjacent rooms, so we had a peaceful sleep every night. The room was cleaned daily, which was an unexpected surprise that was greatly appreciated. The hotel is in a beautiful, central location close to shopping, amazing food (we didn’t have a meal we didn’t like), iconic parks and history, and bus/train stations closeby. I easily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.
- Rantinrover (10/5): Good standard, quiet hotel with personable staff - We booked a King Room at the hotel for a three night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary in London. The room rate as “members” worked out at just under £241 per night. Membership is free and provides several benefits including preferential room rates, extended check-in and check-out times and discounted drinks and snacks. On arrival we were given a warm welcome at check-in and an offer to assist with our bags to the room (which we politely declined). There is a lift and our bags have wheels so it wasn’t a struggle. It transpires that the room #309 was set up with an accessible ensuite and my wife’s first comment upon seeing this was that she would have to battle with the shower curtains, a pet hate. That apart the room looked fine and in response to having notified them in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary the bed had been decorated with balloons and petals and staff had left a handwritten card, together with a bottle of Prosecco and a box of Love Cocoa truffles. This was a considerate gesture in our view and provided evidence that the customer experience is valued by the business and staff. Nevertheless, in an effort to avoid any flashbacks of the shower scene in Hitchcock’s “Psycho,” I returned to reception to see if we could get an alternative King Room with a standard walk-in shower. A member of staff on duty indicated that the room had been allocated on the basis we were staying a few days and it was possible that we’d appreciate a bit more space. He offered to show me an alternative King Room which was on the same floor and near to #309. This standard King Room was indeed less spacious and after inviting my wife to view it we chose to remain in the one originally allocated. It transpired the shower curtain wasn’t a big deal as lowering wall mounted grab rails when showering held it at bay! The bed was very large and comfortable and we would agree with many other reviewers that, despite the city location, we were not disturbed by external noises during the night and slept well. Quite an attractive feature and one which drew us to this place in the first instance as we are used to a peaceful setting at home. The room had a wall mounted TV; a comfy seat; a table and single chair; and a kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine, sink and some crockery and cutlery. However it wouldn’t really have suited for self catering in our view. A second chair would have been required to sit at the table for starters. That said the fridge was handy to keep the Prosecco chilled and we had plenty of teas and coffees. We pre-ordered delivery of breakfast to our room on one morning but on the day we got a call from reception to apologise that the suppliers were running late. Just when we thought we’d cancel, our breakfast arrived. This was a toasted salmon & cream cheese bagel, a large pot of granola and a couple of croissants which were all very good (£16). The room safe was free to use however it was located at the bottom of the wardrobe and it required me to get down on my hands and knees to operate it. I’m not sure if this would qualify as being accessible to a lone less able guest. The outlook from our room was into neighbouring apartments and offices rather than Buckingham Palace. However blinds provided privacy. On arrival there were no bathrobes & slippers and only one hand towel however these were subsequently provided when we reported this to reception. We didn’t have the heart to notify them until leaving that the standard lamp ceased working during our stay and the pop-up plug in the bathroom wasn’t functioning either - I used a second low level sink instead to fill the basin when shaving. There is no dining room or bar in the hotel to offer food and drinks however they do have complementary drinks in the small lobby between 6pm - 7pm each evening. We were out each evening and weren’t able to take up this offer but on our return to the hotel one evening we requested a couple of glasses of wine and these were brought to our room. By way of comparison the Resident Edinburgh has a much larger lounge area located separately from the reception where having a sociable gathering is more feasible and it’s relaxing just to sit and have a drink if you chose (Members get 25% discount off prices for drinks). All the staff we had interactions with were very friendly and helpful, happy to provide guidance with the transport options for example and, when possible, showed genuine interest in our various activities. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Victoria Rail and Underground stations and just around the corner from Buckingham Palace. It’s also walking distance of the Victoria Palace & Apollo Victoria theatres, currently showing “Hamilton” and “Wicked” respectively. We were venturing further afield to see “Les Miserables” - number 38 bus to Piccadilly - and “ABBA Voyage” - a slightly less straightforward trip across town by public transport but still doable. More easily we walked down The Mall to the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament and it wasn’t too much hassle to get the underground to the British Museum and Tower Bridge. Locally we ate at Il Posto and Rail House Victoria which were pretty good and had drinks a couple of times at Vagabond, a nearby wine bar, which we enjoyed. Gail’s (Victoria Park) was a decent small chain bakery nearby. On our day of checkout we were able to leave our bags with the hotel whilst we explored a bit more before our flight home. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we’ve recommended the hotel to others.

- Rachel (10/5): - A fabulous find. Rarely have I experienced genuine hospitality like this. Every guest is treated to a service that is second to none. While the location is in a busy spot, the hotel is tucked away in a little side street and is very quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I highly recommend The Resident Victoria to anyone looking for good accommodation in the vicinity of Buckingham Palace and Victoria. Nothing.

- Stephen (9/5): Definitely my hotel of choice when staying in London! - The staff were simply outstanding! Their attention to detail was second to none, and they really went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible. The location is excellent too! If I were to be really picky, I’d say that a restaurant for breakfast would be a great addition to the hotel. That said, they do have a room service-type breakfast on offer, which requires you to fill in your order the night before.

Noi siamo stati a Londra per il weekend di Pasqua e ci hanno dato pure una lettera di benvenuto e fuori la porta la domenica di Pasqua ci hanno fatto trovare un sacchettino con dei cioccolatini. Il fono era della GHD. Il letto era ben pulito sistemato e profumato. La camera era dotata pure di un lavandino di un micronde e una macchinetta del caffè. C’erano posate e bicchieri. La ragazza alla reception SUPER!!!! Parlava pure in italiano 🔝 Niente, tutto perfetto

The kitchenette in the room is very handy, especially the integrated Brita water filter in the tap so there‘s always drinking water. Staff was overall very friendly and even offered drinks in the evening. Good location with Victoria station nearby. -
