• GS (10/5): Vriendelijk, gastvrij en super schoon! - Heel vriendelijke gastheer, die het je zo comfortabel mogelijk wil maken. Mooie, schattige machiya als je dat een keer wil ervaren. Heerlijk geslapen op de tatamimatten. Wees er wel voorzichtig mee, want het is heel mooi. Hele schone bad/toilet, super hygiënisch. Lekker ontbijt. Top!

• harahetta1 (8/5): 奈良めぐりに便利な立地 - 大神神社まで徒歩五分、駅前商店街から一本入った住宅街にあり、とても静か。リフォームしたばかりのようで、こぎれいで手入れが行き届いており、親戚の家に泊まったような落ち着ける空間です。ご主人が一人で切り回しておられるようですが、適度な距離感が絶妙です。欲をいえば、朝食にもうひと工夫あれば、というところでしょうか。大神神社はもちろん、宇陀方面、飛鳥、柏原にも近く、南奈良を車で巡るには理想的な立地というところが一番気に入りました。また利用したいです。
• 꼬마슈 (8/5): 일본의 조용한 시골마을에서 평안한 하루 - 근처에 딱히 가볼만한 관광지가 있진 않지만, 일본의 조용한 시골마을 분위기를 느끼며 힐링하기엔 정말 좋은 곳입니다!
• Koshi (10/5): Tatami is great and comfortable. - I'm Japanese, I stay hotel when travel. So this ryokan has clean tatami, they made me surprising and relaxing. Around this ryokan is very silent. and beautiful Ebisu shrine is near . If you think trip to Nara, I recommend stay this ryokan than hotels in Nara city.
• Kazuyuki (10/5): Such a cozy hostel in Nara's rural area - This hostel was great. The owner dedicates himself to the cozy atmosphere. The room, bathroom, toilet, and common area was meticulously cleaned and decorated. The neibourhood was very quiet and peaceful, and you will enjoy the beauty of the Yamato mountains. The owner listens to your requests about the breakfast, and he catered to my preference (gluten intolerance). I'm sure vegan options are available. But please observe local customs as this hostel is a genuinely traditional Japanese townhouse. For example, please don't put your suitcase on the tatami. Ask the owner how Japanese do, and once you understand, you'll enjoy it.
• Marvellous (10/5): Whisper quiet location, friendly host! - Easy walk from JR Miwa Station. Place is very non descript outside, and we were wondering if we had the right place, when the host pulled up outside to greet us! It is across the road from the Post Office. They only have three rooms, two up, one down. One toilet up, one down, and we all shared the bathroom. Spotlessly clean, and no hassles. A nice little area for complimentary tea, and a small communal fridge if you need it. Lovely host who was super helpful with recommending some food places for us. He gave us maps for the hiking trails in the area, and ensured our stay was perfect. It was great to be off the tourist trail here. Not many Westerners in Miwa, so we enjoyed it very much. The hiking is great, and you could easily spend 2 or 3 days here. The breakfast was wonderful! Very filling and varied. Also great to have a pot of freshly brewed coffee. I really can't say enough about this place! You should definitely go.
