Wonderful ( free ) breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms & great showers ! Staff are just wonderful, happy people ; no request for information or assistance is too great or too small. One of my favourite places in Vietnam.

Come see her about excursions and travel arrangements—she knows everything! - Ms. Lily is awesome and her staff, without exception, make you feel like you’ve just come home from a long trip! I’m a frequent traveler for 40+ years so you can trust me when I say this is just the place for you! They also make travel arrangements and recommendations as simple as getting some small item you forgot at home to long excursions to other locations. You won’t find a better informed staff, led by a real professional, Ms. Lily! She gave me mangos, a ride on her motorbike to her hairdresser (where I was treated like royalty), and arranged transportation for a large group of us who were going to the airport! Also, the hotel is lovely, comfortable, with an incredible buffet breakfast with “made to order items” included with your room, on the roof top! Come home to Ms. Lily’s special home away from home a short walk from all the action on Hoan Kiem Lake!
- davidsY3837VF (10/5): An enjoyable return - I returned to the Centepoint hotel at the end of my trip to Vietnam for two nights. Everything was as perfect as on the other occasions I have stayed here. The staff are the same as two years ago and just as friendly and efficient, especially Lily who always tries to accommodate every whim. The high standards of the hotel have been maintained and the choice at breakfast has become even wider. The Centrepoint remains great value for money.

- suzcoupal (8/5): Better not rate them below 9! - Super well located near the lake. Quiet street if your room is not above it. Attentive staff. Clean room. Terrasse on the rooftop. Breakfast is O.K. On Booking.com, we gave a rating of 8/10. Once gone, we received an e-mail from the manager asking us to change the rating from 8 to 9 in exchange for a upgraded room for our next stay. We declined. On our last stay, we were indeed not upgraded. Then the receptionist tried to offer us a gift in exchange for an upgraded rating. We refused again. This is not ethical.

There is an amazing festival with music in the square on weekends just by the hotel. The view from the breakfast room on the top floor is fabulous! The food is of Excellent quality and well prepared. It was like going to the restaurant every morning. Now the best part about this hotel is the staff. Five star service from the whole team led by an excellent leader Lily. Thank you again for taking care of us and making our stay at the hotel memorable!

Every thing was perfect again and it’s still great value for money with very friendly and efficient staff, especially Lily the manageress who is a great trip organizer and is always ready to help customers in anyway.

And I was getting my enquiries from Lily the manager before even I arrived in Hanoi. She arranged the airport transfer for us too, Hotel room is clean and decent space for us (3 pax). Complimentary breakfast are good and on the rooftop was a nice experience too! And the hotel superb location ! Near Hoàn Kiem lake in the old quarters

- 112jossd (10/5): TRAVELERS' LUCK AT CENTRE POINT, HANOI. - Amazing kind of Magic, on arrival. Most convenient location with everything useful around, and a view on Huan Kien Lake. Super quiet, Breakfast buffet included, on the top floor, overlooking the central lake. Found everything all at once, on the first day, and it continued with great help and accurate suggestions from friendly staff. Please, say Hi to Lily, my Lucky-charm!

Also, our room has been cold in the last few days of our stay while Hanoi was only 10C. Was assigned a room on 3 floor, but I paid more to get to higher floor to have lake view. Had room on 6 floor, it’s stuffy, AC is not working. However, hotel location is something you can beat......

- David (8/5): Excellent Hotel in top location with top service, - Due to circumstances, we have 3 consecutive bookings so hopefully the hotel will continue to maintain the standard it has provided which has been awesome. We have an Executive Room on the 7th floor as apparently the other type of rooms are rather small. Breakfast comes with the room and it is terrific. Staff have been great so I'm looking forward to the next 10days here.

- Jonathan (10/5): Location - As the name suggests Centre Point is definitely well located, with views of Hoan Kiem Lake from the breakfast terrace on the 9th floor. The staff were friendly. The 8th floor executive room has a lovely balcony/bar with 2 barstools looking out over the Old Quarter. The room was not quite big enough, ie. you could only get out of the double bed on one side. Other than that I really liked the hotel. Just a short walk to restaurants/bars/shopping etc. There is a Circle K convenience store across the street.

- Paul (8/5): Great location, a little pricey - This was a good stay. The room was nice, the staff friendly, and the breakfast area on the top floor had a great view. The location is perfect, on a side street just off the main hub at the top of Hoan Kiem Lake. That puts you close to the old quarter, with its markets, and the high-end part of town, with the nice shops and restaurants. Only drawback -- it was a bit more than I usually paid for a three-star in Vietnam.

- Junjie Kelvin (8/5): Decent Quality Hotel - Our stay here was pretty good. The standard rooms in this hotel were a tad small with limited space to move around. However, this hotel is in the prime location with just minutes away from the Lake. Staff at the hotel were also very friendly and made my stay a pleasurable one.
- Junjie Kelvin (8/5): Nice budget stay - I stayed here for a total of 3 days. The room that I stayed in were small but didn't bother me much as I was not in the room majority of the time. It is very close to the Hoen Kiem Lake and therefore very accessible to most places. The rooms and the bathroom were clean, with a 24 convenient store right across the street. During my stay, the road outside the Hotel was a walking street and therefore cars were not allowed in. I had to stop outside on the walking street zone and walk to the hotel.

The room is very clean and everything is function well. The hotel staff is very helpfull and provides excellent services. Provided breakfast are good. Overall, it is a good 4 stars hotel. We plan to stay there again in the next visit.

- Brett (10/5): Amazing value hotel in great location. - Stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The room was amazing being very clean, neat and spacious. The staff were very helpful, organising a car to take us to the airport and happily storing our luggage during the day after we had checked out. Additionally breakfast on the rooftop was an excellent way to start the day. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel. TIP: the higher the floor the better the view. We had a pretty good view towards the lake from the 5th floor.
