• DAVID (8/5): Take out or limit that perfume things, improve the kitchen quality - The room Breakfast quality is average, the staff at the breakfast is probably nice but can you imagine when you are asked 5 times by 5 different staff about if you want coffee or not in the morning during breakfast? Too much perfume everywhere with the new perfume machine, smells to much. And worst part is they put so much perfume in the roof top restaurant. What is the manager has in mind? In a restaurant you sell flavors and taste, dont put perfume like it is a toilet or spa. Learn to think!

• R (10/5): Beste hotel van Surakarta - Het personeel is uitmuntend. 5 sterrenverblijf met 6 sterren service. Vooral het personeel op de 30e etage bij het ontbijt. De kok levert topkwaliteit gerechten. Het ontbreekt je aan niets. De lounge met live muziek op de 29e is top. Goede bediening en de optredens van de bands zeer goed. Weten er een feestje van te maken ook al was het niet alle avonden heel druk helaas. We hebben enorm genoten en het was als een warm bad. Mijn surinaams javaanse vrouw voelde zich erg welkom en gelijk thuis. Dank! Helemaal niets
• Anggelia Essi (9/5): best stay ever in Solo - Services are excellent, from receptionist, Hendy, to restaurant (Epice) Galih and Didit. Bed is comfortable and having mountain view is best. Their bar still in process of renewing their alcohol service license, so we were a bit disappointed that we could not fully enjoy our evening despite they have a beautiful sunset view on their sky louge and rooftop bar.

• Hennie66 (7/5): it was mostly pleasant, but with too many issues to deserve it's 5-star ranking - the hotel facilities are exceptional - the pool and the gym are really amazing. the room is spacious and modern. the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. the hotel itself is beautiful; it has a very nice rooftop bar and an equally pleasant exclusive lounge on the top floor. whilst the staff are so lovely, the service is frustratingly slow. even the smallest request, such as a glass of hot water at breakfast, takes an inordinately long time, more than 20 minutes. two poached eggs took almost half an hour and by the time they were eventually delivered, they were cold. we asked for a hotel car and explained that it should be immediate, that it was urgent, that we were at risk of missing an international flight. there was absolutely no sense of urgency at all, and 20 minutes later, we managed to get a taxi! still no hotel car - even though the receptionist told us variously that it was already at the main door waiting for us, then it was on its way up from the parking garage, then the driver was coming to the reception desk to collect the key, then once again it was on it's way up from the parking area. the breakfast is not up to par for a 5-star hotel, especially for Western guests. appalling selection of bread - just white sliced and poor quality offerings. similarly cheese - really cheap quality and poor selection. similarly cereals, just high sugar stuff like corn flakes, chocolate flakes, sugar-laden 'granola' - no healthy options. the local food was nice enough, although on occasion, it sat in the warming trays for too long. the room was clean enough, but not perfectly so - particularly around the edges of the shower floor, and the towels in the bathroom are way past their use-by date - they are no longer white, soft, luxurious - as they should be for a 5-star hotel.

I loved everything about it - very polite and helpful personnel, amazing breakfasts, pool and especially the restaurant on the 29th floor with great view and nice concerts every day. • Miranti (10/5): Best hotel in solo so far - The public spaces are always cold and smell nice, plus the warm greeting makes it even better I like the warm lighting concept in the room, but if the ceiling cove lighting was brighter, the ambiance would feel more cozy and homey, rather than just romantic. ^_^
