- Janet (10/5): Great stay - We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Wilson House. Clelia was a gracious host. The location was close to everything we wanted to see; we had a rental car but it also seems there are plenty of public transportation options available nearby. We never had an issue finding parking leas than a block away from the house. We stayed in the purple room (note it is on the third floor upstairs) and it was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again when visiting the area. Thank you!

- Christopher (8/5): Wilson House run by an elderly couple - We stayed 3 days at the Wilson House for a little vacation. The couple that runs the place was very polite. They make a fruit parfait in the morning, and pancakes. The food was okay. The man talked a lot about his experience in the military and working for the government, and also his accomplishments.

Gracious hosts, delicious cooked breakfasts, the run of a Victorian mansion stuffed with beautiful antiques and interesting memorabilia from the host’s remarkable career in the US Navy. Tranquillity is breakfast on fine china, crystal glasses and silverware, listening to Mozart and studying the intricacies of the model ships on display. Highly recommended.

- Colleen (10/5): Book BNB experience - Great place. It is the bed and breakfast experience you read about in books. The couple who run it are great. It was great having breakfast with other guest and talking with them. The place is FILLED with collection all very unique. We used public train on our trip and it was a neat walk up through the neighborhood to get to it. I totally recommend the experience.

- peter (6/5): The details.....we missed reading about them. - We booked our stay here at The Wilson House without knowledge that we had to share bathroom .....nothing wrong with that. It was just not clear in the listing. Also, The Wilson House is located next to a highway. It is very noisy with the windows opened because the AC have not yet been installed for use. Gus was super helpful; however.

Inn is historic Baltimore home where Woodrow Wilson’s Democratic nomination for President was “negotiated” under the auspices of William Jennings Bryant, the famous American orator and politician in the classic “smoke filled room”. Beautifully appointed, antiques and momentoes everywhere. Gourmet breakfast prepared by Clelia, co-owner of the inn with her husband, served on China and crystal - amazing! The only drawback may be the neighborhood, which is clearly in transition, slowly gentrifying. Note- actual entrance is on Reservoir Street not Mount Royal Terrace. Best to follow inn keepers’ directions, and IGNORE Google Maps, which was disastrous. We had a repetitive circular tour of Baltimore neighborhoods until we identified the actual route, old style, a paper map. The Wilson Inn is a true Diamond in the Rough.

- Mike (10/5): - I stayed here about 2 months ago for 1 night and I really enjoyed my stay. This was my first time staying at a B&B and I chose it mostly for the price, and I was not disappointed. The couple that run it were very nice and hospitable. It's in a quiet neighborhood, about 5 min walk to the light rail station, and about 20 min walk to Penn Station. My room was nice, and the AC worked (it was pretty humid by my So Cal standards), and even though I booked a "shared bathroom" room, I did get my own, which was nice. Breakfast in the morning was great, as was the company, which included a couple other guests, and the owner. If I'm ever in Baltimore again I would happily stay again.

The location was not the greatest, and parking on the street was the only parking available, but the hosts were very friendly, the Wilson Room was beautiful and provided everything, and the decorations around the house very magnificent...very historic! I cannot believe such large homes sit in the middle of busy Baltimore! All of the large homes on this street are extremely close to each other so that I could have reached out the window and touched the outside wall of the next building....but that by no means detracts from the massiveness and beauty of this grand home! The one-way roads in the area were less than desirable, but we were able to find our way around.

- Catherine (10/5): Perfect long weekend! - I cannot say enough about the wonderful time my husband and I had while staying here! The owners are SO nice and gracious. From the moment I booked the room to the moment we left I felt like we were treated like family members. I am a very light sleeper but had no issues relaxing there. I initially had booked a room at the Inner Harbor but with the room PLUS the $31 a DAY for parking (we were there for 4 days) I could not justify the cost. With Wilson I saved money (over $200), had FREE parking and had a much more personalized experience. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast and conversation with the owners who joined us! The home is BEAUTIFUL and filled with history. My husband and I could have EASILY walked to each place we visited. The only reason why we did not walk more was because of the heatwave! The Uber rides that we used as needed were very reasonably priced. We will be back to visit Baltimore and we WILL stay at the Wilson House B & B! You will not be sorry.

It was absolutely charming. The breakfast was served on fine china and crystal. It was gourmet, fresh and delicious. The owners, a charming couple, were a delight. I loved sharing this experience with my daughter as we visited Maryland Institute College of Art.

- John (10/5): - The Wilson House is rather old and eclectic, so doesn't have all the modern conveniences (elevator) if those are important to you. However, it is very clean and well-maintained. We needed a place to stay near the Hopkins Homewood campus, and this was very convenient. The price was very reasonable for the area. Guy and Clelia are excellent hosts. The breakfast was very nice, and Guy has interesting stories to tell about his career!

We were surprised however, by the personal items left around (keys, medication, mail), the landscape and exterior of the home was in need of much attention, and the breakfast was limited in a family style manner. With all the space that this home has, a more intimate breakfast and seating arrangement should be considered.
