A rare find and treat to stay at. Plus very pet friendly. The free breakfast items, were not what I expected, but the pay for menu items were exceptional.

The hotel is walking distance to small shops, cafes and accessible to their Sunday farmers market. The inside of the hotel is very cute and our room was beautiful. Small detail but I really liked the discreet door key card sensor. I liked the layout of the room and the size of the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and cozy, with a nice view near the window. We'd love to come back for a longer stay.

- Sarah (4/5): It was ok. I would not be a repeat customer. - The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was enjoyable. They also offered a free glass of wine with our stay. The hotel has a charming feel, and there is a lot of potential here. However, there were a few areas that affected the overall experience. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not function during our stay. The television was quite dated and did not support streaming apps such as Netflix, HBO, or Hulu. Additionally, there was only one bedside table, which made it inconvenient for one guest to place personal items like a water bottle or phone. The room was advertised as including a complimentary breakfast. In practice, this consisted of coffee and a bagel or croissant. While appreciated, this felt more like a light snack, especially given that the menu lists fuller breakfast options such as eggs and French toast. Lastly, the television screen had several bright spots visible during viewing, which was very distracting. Overall, the hotel is cute and could truly be a gem with a few thoughtful updates. I hope this feedback is helpful, as many of these items seem easily addressed and would greatly improve the guest experience. It did not feel welcoming.

I would not hesitate to book here in the future, or to recommend it to a friend.

From perfect accommodations to wonderful food and generous help, we had everything we needed in order to make an uncomfortable situation an extremely pleasant experience. We are looking forward to staying here again, and we will no doubt enjoy the incredible bath products, fluffy robes, excellent staff, delicious food, and great location.

- ChristinelovesIsrael (10/5): Beautiful hotel in perfect location - Beautiful boutique hotel is a perfect setting in downtown Los Altos. You can walk outside your door to shopping, and restaurants. The room was charming with lovely French decor. There is a sitting area with fireplace and built in cabinet to display French porcelain plates and accessories. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable but with soft fluffy pillows and bedding. The next morning I complained how uncomfortable the mattress is and they immediately put a think mattress cover on top. It made a big difference! Just ask them for it when you make reservations. The bathroom had the perfect cabinet with shelves for placing toiletries. There is an ample closet for clothes in the bathroom too. There is also a Keurig in the room. I had a great stay!

Well an hour after we arrived the smoke alarm in our room was triggered by the steam from the shower. The hotel restaurant is an excellent French bistro with live entertainment Tuesday and Wednesday night. excellent restaurant. Easy walking to Los Altos downtown, with shopping and restaurants. - Q2093EXlynnp (10/5): Paris and the Seine in Silicon Valley - What an amazing hotel, it's the closest thing you will get to being taken away to France while in Silicon Valley. The rooms, the food, the service, the location next to downtown Los Altos, the outdoor patio, it is all perfect! It only has a few rooms, so it is very private and quiet despite being in the middle of everything. Only a short drive to Stanford but away from the chaos of the campus.
- lucianaduarte2024 (10/5): Friendly, welcoming, comfortable - My husband and I stayed at the gracious Enchanté Hotel earlier this week. It looks exactly as pictured and is well maintained. Everyone, from the receptionists to the restaurant server, was so kind and helpful. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine (anything of our choice from the menu). When I was taking two coffees up to our room the next morning, the server thoughtfully followed me to the elevator so she could press the button for me. I had asked for a top-floor room in advance and our request was granted with no caveats. Our room (#38) was well appointed and quiet. The fireplace was easy to turn on/off with a switch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. I only wish the water pressure in the shower were a bit stronger, but I guess it’s low-flow eco friendly. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and look forward to returning next time we’re in the area.

Unfortunately, when I arrived, the fireplace didn't work. I checked in late, and the staff wasn't able to resolve the issue, possibly due to the late hour. While I understand that things can go wrong, it was disappointing that the main reason I chose this hotel was unavailable and that there wasn't any effort to make up for it. Overall, my experience was less enjoyable than I had hoped.

The staff made me feel welcomed like a treasured guest. The rooms were beautifully and uniquely decorated. The complimentary glass of wine was so appreciated. I took a salad from the restaurant up to my room. It was ready very quickly and was delicious. The croissants are the best I have had in the states - perfectly flaky. The location is great - Los Altos is adorable.

- Leslie (8/5): - Luckily, we visited on a Sunday so street parking which normally is 2-hour limitation was exempt. We had a two-night reservation but had to leave after one night through no fault of the Hotel. The Sunday check in staff was amazing and did their best to get us settled and comfortable with the parking issue and the fact that the restaurant closes after brunch on Sunday. Unfortunately, one of the reasons we chose this property was because of the onsite restaurant so we would not have to leave after we checked in for the night. All worked out as there are many eating establishments nearby. Would definitely consider this an option again if in the area.
- Shelley (6/5): - Overall a nice property for the price. Unfortunately, our air conditioning did not work during the night and it was very hot. Lunch at the restaurant was good, breakfast was not very good and service slow.
- sznfri (10/5): Charming and comfy - I greatly enjoyed my stay at Enchante. It is charming in decor and so comfy. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. And the location is perfect for strolling the equally charming downtown Los Altos.

- mdweiland90 (10/5): A Magical Experience - This trip was planned as a last minute getaway. The staff and the atmosphere was superb. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I truly appreciate the dedication and attentive nature of all involved at the hotel. A must have experience with an amazing feeling of being in Paris.
- danr494832 (10/5): Very pleasant stay in Los Altos - We drove up from the central coast for a morning appointment at Stanford Medical and very glad we chose to stay the night before somewhere other than our usual choice of one well known brand or another. Check-in was easy and I loved the location in Los Altos with several restaurants and many other eateries a short walk away. Our room was nice and the area was quiet. All staff was pleasant and helpful. We'll be back!

- Frances (9/5): We enjoyed the French theme and interesting antiques. Will return in the future. - Lovely boutique hotel with great people. Nicely located in downtown Los Altos. It is showing a bit of wear, especially the carpeting. Parking is public and not as convenient as one would expect

We didn’t try the dinner, but the breakfast that was included is sub-par. The croissants were terrible and being a French hotel we expected something better. Overall, we will definitely return.

- KimGTravels (10/5): Unique French Atmosphere - A unique French experience in downtown Los Altos. This beautifully designed property has the feel of a French Chateaux, boasting authentic French antiques and comfortable, stylish public and private rooms. Our room had a lovely marble bathroom and gas fireplace. We were warmly welcomed by French-accented staff. Our delicious dinner (extra fee) and breakfast the following morning (included) were enjoyed in the cozy dining room near the fireplace. The evening guitarist/singer was exceptional and performed at the perfect volume, so as not to overwhelm our dining conversation. Upon arrival, my husband and I enjoyed a latte and glass of wine on the terrace, situated outside on the street corner. While we were at the entry to intimate downtown Los Altos, the planted terrace offered a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was an enjoyable venue to celebrate our 43 Wedding Anniversary. We would return.
