• Verified traveler (4/5): Awful awful awful - My stay was awful! We got there and the rooms weren’t ready. The cleaning lady lied about the rooms being clean. She ended up walking out after a huge heated argument with bosses. Only 2 plugs in the entire room. Mattress was super hard. Ran out of toilet paper. One of towels was filthy like when you wash off mascara maybe? Couldn’t sleep with men drinking and partying next door. It was not a good stay. My sisters room didn’t have any towels at all! And a big cockroach in the shower!
• Gerald (4/5): Rough Night - I was first given a room that was dirty. There was a filthy towel wrapped around the toilet and what looked like bug sheddings on the bed. I was shown three other rooms, none were ready for guests. The final room I was brought towels, there was no soap, ac/heater didn’t work, tv didn’t work. All over a rough stay. Don’t believe I will be staying there again.

Wifi wasn't that good. Tv wasn't working that good only 3 channel to choose from. Wasn't able to connect my Roku to the TV. The heater keeps turning off and on. The room was kinda messy not that clean. Saw a couple of ants as well. Other then that everything was perfect

I always have my dog with me,and there was no problem. I came here to get out of hurricane. And if need to again,I will be back here. Loved the older building. Reminds me of the motels stayed in as a child. And the tile in the bathroom.is just like I remember from 50 yrs ago. Hope they don't change that.

• Genealen (6/5): - The owners made a good effort renovating an old motel that I'm guessing was built in the 50's or 60's. I liked that the old carpet and furniture and fixtures had been updated. The price was right, and the staff was friendly. The tile in the bathroom was still mostly original with a tile missing here and there. Water pressure was good with plenty of hot water on demand. The room was generally clean, although I did spot a faded stain on the middle of the bedspread (still appeared to have been washed), and something that had spashed onto and dried on the framed picture on the wall beside the bed. There was a decent sized mini fridge and a small microwave for use as well. Overall, my stay there was average and what I would expect for this price point.

There was a drug pipe in the parking lot. Advertised there was a restaurant on site but that was not true. It was not bad but very old motel. They are making up grades but the shower needs it bad. The linens and towels need an upgrade too. The drug pipe in the parking lot. Shower stall was very old and didn’t look very clean.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing. - My room looked nothing like the picture on Hotels.com. Old style motel with paint slapped on cinder block walls. Dirty and pillows smelled nasty. Big spider on the bed and roach on the floor. Bed very squeaky and noisy neighbors. Why put people next to each other when 75% of the rooms appear to be empty. You get what you pay for.

• Madhusudan (10/5): Excellent experience overall!! - Stayed at the OYO Beeville while driving through the town, with my wife and two kids. The motel was clean, and had bigger rooms and beds compared to the other motels we stayed at. All the amenities and utilities were working great. The management, which was owner operated, was super friendly and helpful, and made us feel like home. We had a great experience staying here and will do it again next time. If you are looking for great experience with limited budget, and are a supporter of small business owners like me, this is the perfect place to be.

• Campos (10/5): Hotel Stay . - How respectful and polite the stuff were and the rooms are nice and clean at least the few rooms I have stayed in. And the stay was peaceful and quiet. Everything was good
• Homer (6/5): Over-priced for its condition. - We had trouble getting a room with other hotels in the area. We booked this one as a last resort and it was much cheaper than the others. But as the saying goes, you get what you paid for. If you're just staying the night and don't plan on staying in the room much...it's ok. If you're planning on staying in your room alot...it's not. My family did not like it as my wife thought it should be condemned.

As long as this awesome friendly family is running this place, I’m staying here anything I come through Beeville. I had my room key in hand within a minute of pulling up. And they handed me a cold water. Just good ol’ customer service here.

Bathroom was very bad with shoddily patched ceilings and holes in walls. Not very clean. Stained carpet, cobwebs in bathroom. Old bath cloth in shower, cigarette lighter in couch (non-smoking room), trash behind bedside table, etc. On positive side: great price; comfortable bed, clean sheets, cold air conditioning. Staff helped with a mistake double booking.
• Brian (6/5): Old motel needs some work - This was recently converted to Oyo. They still have the sign from the previous motel. Check-in was very friendly. Even gave me a bottle of water. The room definitely needs work. Dead roach on the floor when I walked in and I saw three live ones in the morning. Hole in the wall. Flat, worn out pillows. The bathroom looks like the painter was drunk - painted right over parts of the mirror?! TV was not hooked up in the back so I went back to the front desk. He was very helpful with that. In summary: great service, great price but old motel that needs a lot of work. Maybe the new owners will fix it up? It was okay for just me to sleep a night but not if I had my family with. I would have paid more for something nicer then.

• GodKingZul (10/5): Homely - I arrived at this hotel last week and I have been nothing but satisfied since. Prompt housekeeping every day, owner / managers are very kind and courteous. The rate is Affordable. Beds are clean, bathroom has a lovely heating lamp, laundry service is available as well. The parking lot is ample for plenty of guests, small play area up front where you can take your children, Walmart is close by as well as other food shopping places and fast food restaurants. My stay has been nothing but pleasant. Clean rooms, clean bed and cold air.

• A6324XTsueb (8/5): Best Ever - This is one if the best county motels we have stayed at. Whomever does not like this motel is what we would call a city slicker. This wonderful motel is full of country charm. King room was roomy enough for 2, bath a bit small but what is cozy? Owners have worked very hard here and it does show. 5 star is perfection and no one is perfect, but The Esquire Motel is as close as you can come for older country charm. City slickers, stay in the city, I will take this over that any day, a wonderful place to stay, we will stay here again if ever in the area.
• Rich (8/5): Clean, comfortable and affordable - The Esquire Inn is a comfortable, if humble, budget motel. Nothing fancy, but the innkeepers were extremely friendly and the unit was clean and adequately comfortable. I would stay there again.

• 3DTurkey (2/5): It's Bad - Got a room here because it was the only place available near Rockport after Hurricane Harvey. And there is a reason it was the only place available. Its probably the grossest hotel/motel I've ever stayed. Carpet was stained and dirty, shower was moldy, furniture was broken and dirty, and electrical sockets didn't have covers. I slept in my sleeping bag on top of the bed because it was so gross here. Also the dirty shower didn't drain properly so after 30 seconds I was standing in dirty ankle deep water on a moldy shower floor. There were a few positives about this place. The guys that run this place are nice and polite. The shower had hot water and the AC unit worked well. The positive reviews on the place have to be 100% fake. There is no way in the world anybody would call this place "clean" or "nice" or anything similar to that. The only reason you would stay here is if you have no other choice. Advice to the owners. Bring in an outside consultant that specializes in hotels to help you get this place in order. Your standards of cleanliness are way too low. You have to infuse some cash in this place to get the rooms up to normal standards. This was the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in.
• 324charleneb (8/5): Clean, quiet, great rates - Had such a wonderful stay in Beeville over the weekend. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, the king size bed was the best part! Came back every evening to a clean room with clean towels, very quiet setting and the staff was very nice! I was a bit skeptical before my arrival as the rate was so much lower than all of the surrounding motels! Much to my surprise this room was amazing and my sister and I were welcomed even after a very late check in. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Beeville! Especially with the college and shopping/restaurants within walking distance!
