Fantastisk trädgård med egna trädgårdsmästare, poolområdet var jättemysigt. Trevlig personal som alltid hälsade och va trevliga. Kommer definitivt tillbaka hit igen.

• Wadey (10/5): - The property is perfectly located in the heart of Ubud with beautiful gardens a nice cosy pool and large clean rooms. There is a coffee shop at the gate with very helpful staff and a variety of snacks and meals to suit all tastes. Our room was the largest on the property and was absolutely huge with a big balcony. We didn't dine in the restaurant but the included breakfast was basic but definitely big enough for most travellers and the staff were only too happy to adjust set menu items to your taste. I get the impression they are trying to up their standards as they were changing processes and procedures during our stay to make everything a little more classy and also introducing TVs to the standard rooms. This property offers excellent value for money and I would certainly stay here again. If you do find anything amiss, remember this is Bali and little things can go wrong, just let the staff know and they will fix it promptly if at all possible

• Verified traveler (4/5): Secure your belongings! - After having stayed at Dewangga once before, we were very much looking forward to returning to this very well located hotel and the friendly staff. However, after the first night,our luggage was very obviously opened and tampered with by the housekeeping staff while we were at breakfast. The customer relations staff person didn't seem to think it was an issue, as nothing had been taken. Apparently it's ok to rifle through guests belongings! We left after 1 night and found other accommodation. We have been to various hotels around Bali on our numerous trips here, and never encountered any such problems ever. We will never return to this hotel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect location and great staff! - Dewangga bungalows are perfectly placed in Ubud with everything in walking distance. My friend and I got a bungalow with bathroom/lounge downstairs and a bedroom upstairs. The staff was very helpful and fixed taxi and daily activities whenever we needed. The Wi-Fi was acceptable, but they could upgrade it so that it was faster and didn’t fall out from time to time. The breakfast was okay, but we would recommend eating at a local café, f.ex. Clear Café for more options. We would definitely stay here if we ever go back to Ubud.

The room was so spacious but we thought smaller room would be good because the cleaning was not good. There was a terrible smell of mold in the air conditioner. It was so painful. staff told me the time to get to the airport is 1hour 30minutes. she didnt told me about very frequent serious traffic jams in ubut. we just stayed 1hour 30minutes in taxi in ubut. I almost missed the flight.

The enviroment and decoration of this hotel made us feel in a paradise. Very kind staff all the time and delicious breakfast. Beautiful pool and super relaxing spa! will return for sure!

• sharon (8/5): - Stayed at Dewangga bungalows for 3 nights this week . The staff were extremely helpful and assisted with bookings for ferry trip. The rooms were clean, although a little dated and in need of a facelift. The location is excellent if you are intending on walking around Ubud centre. They have many excellent restaurants very close by, including one just to the right of the entry , makes great cocktails and has a reasonably priced menu. I think for this price bracket it is great value .
• Nobuhiro (6/5): 立地が素晴らしい - 目の前がプール、階下がレストランの部屋に宿泊しました。 清潔感があり、内装も素敵です。水圧、湯温が一定しないのが難点。 バスタブはありますが、大きすぎてお湯はためられないと思います。 一応壁はありますが、ベッドルームからシャワールームが丸見えなので見られたくない友人、家族との宿泊はキツイかも。 Wifi早く快適でした。 ホテルの門を出るとすぐDewi sita通りで、街の中に宿泊しているように思うくらい利便性が高く、本当に便利。 朝食のオーダーを間違える、紅茶にコーヒーを2日連続で注いでしまう等かわいい失敗はありましたが、スタッフの方もとても親切で気持ちの良い宿でした。 翌日の朝食を前日予約するのですが、食後のコーヒー、紅茶まで聞くのはいかがなものかと思いました。その日の気分で変わるので、前日聞かれても困ってしまう。
• Tan (4/5): Need To Refresh - I booked a standard cottage. To my disappointment, the room was full of mosquitoes, bathroom need a major refurbishment as the shower pressure is low, stains on the wall and dark lighting. Its just looked dingy and lack amenities. As for the room, stained pillow case, paint on the wall is peeling, light switches are not conveniently placed, lack amenities and poor lighting. I will not recommend this place although the people are friendly unless they do a major shake up on the room.

The breakfast options were very delicious and freshly made. The staff was super friendly and helped us get around. We were also able to rent a scooter. The location is close to the monkey forest, many shops and restaurants.

• Anika (10/5): Amazing staff and perfect location - My stay was absolutly great. The staff were super friendly and helpful in any way. The bungalows are clean and tidy and have everything you need. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Ubud. If there is anything that wasn't perfect, I would say that the wifi signal in the room wasn't strong enough. But who wants to spend time in their room anyway when you are in Ubud! I would definitly stay here again.
• Kerstin (8/5): Gemischtes Fazit, aber gut für Kurzaufenthalt - Das Hotel liegt schön zentral in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse, alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück am Pool war gut. Überhaupt war die Gartenanlage mit dem Infinity-Pool toll und aufgrund der wenigen Zimmer auch nie voll. Es gibt im Garten das Spa mit Massage, haben wir aber nicht probiert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und such hilfsbereit. Wir sind nach Ansage nach 24 Uhr erst angekommen, war kein Problem. Bei Problemen mit unserer externen Abholung wurde uns Hilfe angeboten und für uns eifrig herumtelefoniert. Unser Zimmer war allerdings in nicht so gutem Zustand wie nach den Bildern und der gebuchten Kategorie erwartet. Für 2 Nächte war das aber ok und wir haben darauf verzichtet, einen Zimmerwechsel zu fordern. Es scheint wohl ältere und neuere Zimmer zu geben. Ausstattung war gut: es gab Föhn, TV, Klimaanlage, Handtücher, Pool-Handtücher und Wasserflaschen. Dennoch würde ich das Hotel wegen Lage, Pool, Service und Flair für einen Kurzaufenthalt weiterempfehlen, wenn man bspw. über ein paar feuchte Flecken an der Decke hinwegsehen kann.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Cute & calm stay in Ubud - We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a very welcomed and friendly atmosphere. As we had a budget room, we couldn't properly close the door ao ants came into the room. The only bad thing in the budget roo is that the bathroom window can't be opened. But the garden and the pool area are very nice! It is very relaxing and the owners are very friendly. Next time we would just book a better room than the budget room. Then it would be perfect!
• Natasha (10/5): TOP LOCATION, STAFF, & VALUE - Right in the heart of Ubud, walk to all town sights, but peaceful garden setting and wonderful staff. Quality cafes, shops, tourist and local markets are just out the door and round the corners. This hotel also offers bikes to hire and checks them thoroughly before you use them (and provides helmets). They will organise any tour you wish and also offer their own private driver and car for your own personalised tours, at extremely reasonable prices. The breakfast served at pool side each morning is beautiful and plenty of variety as long as you are prepared to try the many choices on the menu. The pool and grounds are serene and they have 24 hour security personell so no late night noisy guests to ruin your sleep. All the rooms are quite different ranging from cute, authentic Bali cottages to tiled spacious room. The airconditioning in ours was a life saver and worked perfectly. We did not have a fridge in our room and had to keep our clothes etc in our bags as there was no furniture to spread them out anywhere. Room was large but very basically appointed. I would and will return here always.
• Dimi (8/5): Goeie locatie, super mensen, matige kamer - Zelfs voor Balinese standaards extreem behulpzaam en lief personeel. Locatie heel centraal en toch in prachtig groene tuin, zwembad was ook mooi. Helaas zijn de kamers verouderd, er zit schimmel en de douche werkte amper. Voor een paar dagen was dit te doen, en de lieve mensen maakte dit een beetje goed.

Stayed in a standard room on the first floor which consisted of bedroom, open covered balcony with bathroom across. For price and it's rating it was wonderful. Right in the heart of Ubud with truly exceptional, kind and friendly staff.
• louis (8/5): Good city hotel and still green area - Great city hotel in green area. Close to good cafes, shops and anything what Ubud offer and still in green garden area. No notice and friendly lobby. We just the lobby phone many times to lokal calls.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hôtel bien situé mais délabré - Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le personnel de l'hôtel. Malheureusement la chambre dans laquelle on nous a emmenés sentait la moisissure et un spray désodorisant avait été installé pour masquer l'odeur. En ouvrant la porte de la salle de bain nous découvrons le plafond recouvert de moisissures et de...champignons!! Pas une fenêtre ou bouche d'aération... Mon compagnon ayant des problèmes respiratoires et moi sujette aux allergies en tout genre, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre. On nous a fait passer dans une chambre supérieure et ce gratuitement. Le lendemain, coupure d'eau qui a duré une bonne partie de la journée, j'ai même dû emprunté les toilettes du personnel... Après cet incident, plus rien à déplorer si ce n'est les serviettes de bains non changées. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, nous avions très peur de ce que ça allait donner après avoir lu plusieurs commentaires le qualifiant de frugal, et le café et le thé de degueulasses. En effet le thé n'a pas vraiment de goût, et le café n'est pas le même que "chez nous", cela dit il est buvable. J'ai commandé deux fois de suite le "healthy breakfast" avec l'omelette puis le continental breakfast avec les pancakes, et je les ai trouvés très bons. En revanche le jus de fruits était inbuvable, les fruits n'étant pas ou très peu sucrés. Sinon grosses rénovations à entreprendre, staff helpful et aux petits soins, très belle piscine et hotel très bien situé.

• Grace (10/5): Good location for all Ubud has to offer. - Really enjoyed our stay in Ubud, the hotel location was the perfect base for exploring & ubud markets were only a 5min walk from the property. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Wasn't a big fan of the breakfast but overall a lovely stay.

The staff are absolutely amazing and will do everything to make your stay memorable. Mingle restaurant is just outside great food and service. Avoid Wareong Bernadette I got bacterial gastric infection here, the staff at Dewangga brought me a kettle, extra water and organised a doctor for me. Gede on front desk is great. The pool area is also amazing
• Sally (8/5): superb central location - A superbly located glorious little 2 star property. Old style Bali, so the rooms look a little worn, but perfectly clean and plenty of space. Free WiFi strong enough to pick up email but not a great deal more, no fridge, but kettle and free bottled water provided. Spring rolls and fresh fruit for breakfast were tasty - lots of eggy other choices too. Small but clean and pretty infinity pool. Charming staff. Very pleased with my choice of standard aircon room at about £20 a night, I'll be back.
