• Ludmilla (10/5): - Staff was beyond nice! Only problem, big pool right behind the property so it makes it super noisy if there are kids.

• Nicole (8/5): Cute little chalet - Really nice accommodation, shower and bathroom are good, nice little patio area where you can relax after a day at the beach. The lady at the check in desk was helpful and coral beach is just a little walk up the road.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Location is perfect and it is just a walkable distance from teluk napha beach. No e room with AC. They also have a common area for dining and one can prepare tea, coffee, tosts. All amenities are under small budjet. We booked a family room .Nice room but there was an issue with bathrooms lock which need to take care. After reaching at Pangkor Jetty one can book a taxi at a 16RM to reach this hotel. Rate is fixed and shows on board at exit point of jetty. Definitely we will stay here again on next visit.

• Obida (8/5): - The resort beside this resort has a small party each night with karoake and it stays till 12-1AM and the sound is not so loud but still it might be disturbing if u r the type which do not fall asleep easily. Other than that the room is good, however I recommend that it should have a small refrigerator. But overall it was a nice stay and the Chinese guy and the lady in the reception are so polite and helpful.
• Rosalind (10/5): - This place had character. The only problem was that the chalets are not very sound proof but most people staying there tried to be quite. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We liked that it had an area you could chop up fruit etc and eat your own things.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Pangkor Island, Malaysia - Budget beach resort.  Excellent location. Very close to the teluk nipah beach.  Lots of eating places within walking distance. The hotel was clean. Bedding clean. A/C in good working condition. There is also a ceiling fan. Comfortable size room with attached bathroom. Water pressure okay. Hot water available. Only soap is provided, no other toiletries. Bath towels provided. TV runs only three channels. One of which is Astro showing English movies. Hot and cold water dispenser available at the lobby with a little kitchen for self help. Nice and spacious lobby. For Muslims there is a small mosque nearby. STAFF: Very cordial and helpful. Smiling faces. Must mention Ateeqa, Maria and Nabeela among others who were really nice. Checking in and checking out was fast. ABOUT PANGKOR ISLAND. From Kuala Lumpur TBS bus station take the bus to Lumut. Note that there is no bus going from Pudu Raya to Lumut. Buses to Lumut are frequently available from TBS bus station. Get down at Lumut jetty. Take the ferry to the Pangkor Island which is a 30 minute run. The ferry will stop at a jetty on the way. Don't get down there. Go up to the last stop which is Pangkor Island. There are many taxis available and rates for taxis are standard. Rates are written on a board. For example to Teluk nipah its 16 ringitts.

The air-conditioning did not work well during our stay- making the rooms stifling hot & stuffy during the night. Shower with good water pressure. New Tv set with little program selection.

The place was clean and is very near to the beach. Perfect location for the beach lover and highly recommended!
• Hajar (10/5): Perfect resort for budget stay! - From the Pangkor jetty u can take the local taxi (pink van), around 10 mins drive u shall reach the resort which is located at Teluk Nipah & costs us RM16. Everything is great about the resort! The location is very very near to the watersport activities & street markets, yet u won't find it noisy due to its perfect location & layout arrangement. I saw most of the guests there were European/American. So easy to find foods, snacks or even souvenirs at the nearby restaurants & shops. The owner & the staffs are all nice & helpful. They can speak both English & Malay. The resort also provide motor & bicycle renting. The average motor renting price in Pangkor is around RM40-50 per day but the owner gave us special price of RM30 since we're his in-house guest! The room including the resort are also clean. All furnitures been arranged properly. The place is just calm, all the guest there respect each others. It makes all of us feel so comfortable staying there. U can swim at Teluk Nipah's beach there but I would suggest u to walk just around 5 minutes to the Coral Beach where the beach is more clean. Oh yeah the water there is green & it's so crystal clear! It also have the best view compared to other beaches around there as its overlooking Giam Island, Whale Rocks & Crocodile Rocks. U can see from far people are doing snorkelling & island hopping at those places I mentioned. Also it's a spot for the European/American to swim (shows that the beach there is really nice).

Only complaint is there is no fridge in the room, but the staff will let you use the fridge in their office between 0800 and 2000. Make sure you get your beer out of their fridge by 2000.

• Verified traveler (8/5): The price is just right. - Just a 3 night vacation. Room was average & cozy but the soundproofing wasn't good, we can hear our neighbour. Also having a wooden floor means when we walk around the room, there tend to be squeaks & thuds. The neighbourhood was great, with easy access to the beach & food stalls. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.
• grahame (8/5): Helpful staff - Basic clean room - good location. Peaceful. The owner, Lun, took me for a drive into the main port to buy lunch and some fruit and gave me an interesting little tour of the island. Buy some cereal from the local stores as there is no breakfast - you can eat it in the pleasant common area equipped with cutlery etc. The 3 members of staff are friendly and helpful in that typical Malaysian way.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice clean hotel friendly staff - The local beach Nipah has litter, old petrol cans etc along its whole stretch but the next beach 5 mins away is the complete opposite, but you have to pass lots of monkeys to get there which I found a bit scary! But as long as you're happy with lots of monkeys then go for it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice staff - The place was very nice and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. It's off the main street so it's very quiet and the rooms are quite comfortable. The bathroom since got clogged and they fixed it as soon as I told them. Overall the stay was great except they could use new sheets. The ones on the bed were threadbare.
