Private pool that lit up at night was a nice touch. The huge breakfast spread with its endless options was very impressive and yummy! A wonderful resort with a huge pool and beautiful beach.

Très présent, serviable, souriant, rien à dire.. à chaque fois qu’on le croisait au petit déjeuner ou au restaurant indien, il était toujours au top.. quel classe quel présentation.. dommage le jour de notre départ on ne l’a pas vu, j’ai même essayé de le trouver, on m’a dit que c’était sa journée off. On voulait le remerciement.. l’année prochaine à notre retour..

Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Free airport pick up and drop off. We booked a 3 bedroom villa at a good room rate, very spacious and comfortable. Free buggy transfer between lobby and villa. The resort is huge, very nice to bike or walk around. Only cups are available inside the villa. We got 2 extra plates for free. If you need extra plates/bowls and cutlery, you would need to rent from them. Overall a very enjoyable stay at the Sheraton. Would definitely consider staying here next time if we could book at more or less the same rate.

The food was terrible unless you ordered room service or are at the garden restaurant. But it was very expensive in my opinion. Maybe that’s the price you pay for the quiet beach and quiet resort experience, who knows. But, I would think that if you’re going to pay premium prices then you should get premium options. Felt like a Cuban vacation if I’m being honest. Not what I was expecting from a Sheraton. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Only management can speak English.Hotel has a tour desk but was unable to help book a tour. I had to go to front desk where they booked it for me. What's the point of having a tour desk if they cannot understand what I was saying? I was told that it is a poor Island and they choose to staff the poor people. The hotel is about 4 years old, surely they can train the staff before taking them on. I put up a review straight away on Expedia and I was told by management constantly to remove it! Management made me sign a form saying to refute all and for that I was sent a plate of fruit which was nothing special, what is served at breakfast everyday and given a little donut.My shower tray always filled up with water not draining away into the plughole everytime I showered. They were not able to fix this problem. They have a shuttle service for the night market. which I used 3 times. Each time I experienced people shoving and pushing to get on the bus. No control there. I can't believe people staying at a 5 star hotel can behave in such unmannerly way. I travel on my own. I was always the 1st one in the line , but never managed to get on the bus 1st. Beach loungers have towels from early in the morning and you don't see them occupied till later in the day, so if you arrive late, than no lounger for you.I can go on, but you get the idea. I would not recommend hotel.
- Todd (8/5): Beautiful Resort, lack of information - The hotel is beautiful and the villa was luxurious. The buffet meals were good with enough variety to keep you interested each day. What is strange is the service. All of the staff are lovely but have clearly not been trained properly and do not understand customer service at a 5 star level. For such a huge resort we were offered very little information related to the facilities that we could use or even offered a map. We were given basic information related to the theme parks and bus times. Most of the facilities seemed abandoned such as the club house and pool restaurant. This was disappointing. The beach is nice but nothing special. A nice relaxing place for a family vacation but a long way from anything. If I were to return to Phu Quoc I would consider staying again but it is unlikely I would return to Phu Quoc, there are many far better beach spots in Vietnam and SEA.

- Harsha (10/5): Beautiful hotel! - The hotel is amazing! Pictures do not do it justice. However, it is very far from everything but the hotel provides free shuttle services which is great! If not, you probably have to have all your meals in the hotel.
- James (10/5): - Overall a great stay. We stayed in a Villa which is separate from the main hotel building and could be reached by a five minute walk or by one of many buggies (golf carts). The buggy service was excellent, during busy times they quote 5-10 minutes for collection from the Villa, however only once did I have to wait even 5 minutes (and that was before 6am). The Villa itself is huge (at least 200 square metres) with an enormous living room/ dining room/ kitchen. The bedroom are large and comfortable along with a luxury bathroom. There is also a private plunge pool at the rear of the Villa. I briefly used a regular hotel room when during the check out process and the Villa is far superior (particularly if you need more than one bedroom or are travelling as a group/ family). The public areas of the hotel are also on a grand scale. The main pool, one of the biggest I've ever seen, easily 80m + in length (an olympic pool is only 50m). The areas for improvement are the dining options. Be aware that the hotel is at least 30 minutes from the main town and there are only two shuttle buses in the evening (hourly would be much better). If you go all inclusive every meal is a buffet. One buffet a day (for breakfast) was enough in hotel dining for us. They really need more dining options and more shuttle buses. I particularly want to highlight, the Turkish manager, Akin, who is excellent and provided great resolution to a couple of minor issues that came up during our week long stay.

- Carol (10/5): - This is an amazing hotel with lots of charm and high-quality construction in sort of an Italian style. The pool is amazing and huge, and all is only a few steps from the beach! During our stay their second restaurant was under renovation, but the main venue stands in its own lovely two-storey building. The staff is very eager to assist. All of this 5-star experience is not expensive and actually very well priced; we have stayed elsewhere in the past but plan to return here soon.

- Omar Sherief (6/5): Great place but service needs improvement - The place is awesome with breathtaking view of the ocean and a great pool. Safari ride was good. Amusement park had very little to offer for a kid <6 years. Spoiler was the language barrier which created loads of confusion.
- danl0403 (10/5): Amazing hotel with a fantastic beach - We had gone on many cruises and all inclusive vacations and this hotel is the best of both worlds. The hotel lobby is styled similar to the cruise ship, check-in was no hazzle and the room very tasteful and large. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and regular buffets were tasty, plenty of choices for both foodies and picky eaters. This place has a beautiful pool with a swim-up bar. There is now free shuttles to downtown Phu Quoc which was a bonus. Valuewise is a little expensive as the cost for drinks and meals are too inflated. We would come back to this resort every winter if there is some sort of limited meals and drink plans available. It was still an unforgettable vacation.

- Robert (10/5): Vinpearl - Wonderful Hotel - We stayed 8 nights in this hotel (family of 4). It is like brand new with stunning facilities. Staff is extremely nice and polite. Food was absolutely delicious from all sources: buffet restaurant, bar menu and in room service (they are all different menus). Best breakfast we have ever had with a lot of choice. Beautiful Christmas gala dinner organised on 24th December.

Breakfasts were great with different types of foods to cater for every one. Buffet lunch & dinner were quite expensive (700,000VND for one adult)
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great if you just want to stay at the resort - The resort itself is very nice and comfortable but it's located in a very isolated part of the island. To get to the night market and back by taxi took 700k vnd! Also to get from the airport and to the hotel will take about 45 minutes plus waiting time- for the Vin pearl shuttle. The shuttle bus is new but I found the experience to be petty bad. The roads are bumpy and narrow, there is alot of construction trucks/ dust and trash bags line the street (the Island has a huge trash problem). As I found with many places in Vietnam the front desk people are very formal and there can be some silly 'rules'. I had 6 people in a 3bdrm villa and asked for bowls and spoons. At first the front desk told me I can only borrow 5 sets. When I questioned why only 5 when the occupancy is 6 I was told that's the rule. Now to their credit, the manager did call me back and approve the extra plate but it still felt like a huge hassle. Another example is my wife ordered a drink at the pool bar. The drink came out too strong for her liking so we asked for more 7up or sugar to make it taste better. Guess what? Well they wanted to charge me to alter the drink. So we told them no on principal and just gave the drink to another person in our group. It's not lIke the drink was cheap either at 170k vnd. So If you want all inclusive and to never leave the Resort then this place would be good. But that's really not my style so I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel with a great beach - It is beautiful hotel with a great beach. Villa was of big size but maybe lacking some decoration for a five star hotel. Food option was very limited as both restaurant offer only buffet both for lunch and dinner with almost same food variety offered for 2 consecutives days . A la carte menu is only available in the room....not much choice for a 5 star hotel especially when you want to lunch on the beach or at the swimming pool. Room service is also too long to be served for simple food ordered like spaghetti or pho soup. One of the bed in room 6528 got bed bugs when reported at the reception the person did not do much aside from asking if ok. The beach is really worth it but hotel service maybe let down by limited food option and service.

- Brittany (4/5): Nice but staff needs to learn proper etiquette - The hotel was nice and new. When you walk in it smells like spray paint, that's how new it is. I came to this hotel thinking they had a gym and spa. Nope. The hotel staff makes you go through a vigorous check-in which includes walking you over to a lounge, then back over to another lounge, then finally up to the counter. If you only speak English, good luck getting your point across. As a Vietnamese speaking patron, I had to order in Vietnamese when they couldn't understand English. I had to ask for an adapter in English since I did not know what the translation was in English and I never got the adapter. Couldn't use my straightener and only got frustrated some more. When you order food they stand behind you and make you feel uncomfortable until you finish and pay. The grounds were nice but this was not a place to have a cocktail. Ask for a vodka soda and you get a 1 ml glass of vodka with ice. The staff seems really confused even with things listed on the menu. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. We played golf at the resort and they add on a lot of extras.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent Hotel with stellar people - I can only recommend the hotel. We were there as a family and we were very pleased with the hotel, especially with the staff, their attitude and relentless hospitality so that we feel great through out the whole stay. The food was great (full board) with many choices from different corners of the world. Swimming pool (cca 80m long) and beach were superb - clean and all the time guarded by few guards at once. Hotel had a kids club which was very well designed, spacious and well run and maintained by supervisory staff. By booking the hotel, we got as well a free entry to the neighbouring Entertainment park (looks like a solid Disneyland) which had many attractions but as well - fully equipped Water park - Magical Fountain - Aquarium and Game zone. Next to the complex was as well very new Hospital (thankfully we did not have to test it). Attached to the hotel is splendid golf course.
