- Mogura (1/5): Scam hotel - none! First off, this hotel is a scam so please do not stay here. We made a reservation and stayed at this hotel with local payment. When we checked in, we were asked to pay, and we paid by card. At that time, it seems that the amount presented was one digit more than the amount at the time of reservation, but we did not check it properly and pressed the PIN. We realized that it was one digit more when the card payment was made after checking out. At first, we thought it was a mistake on the hotel's side and asked them to correct the payment. However, the hotel claimed that it was a correct charge based on the fact that the PIN was pressed. We protested through Booking.com, the embassy, and the local tourist police. The hotel owner then fabricated the use of multiple rooms, which did not exist, and claimed that it was a correct charge. From these facts, it is clear that the hotel intentionally overcharged, and did not respond to our further requests for correction. In addition, when we consulted with the local police, we were told that this hotel has had similar troubles several times in the past, so it is considered to be a malicious fraud hotel. In the end, after negotiating with the local police many times and applying pressure, and threatening to prosecute, they agreed to a refund. However, they did not apologize until the end. If they had no ill intentions, why did they issue a refund after being pressured by the police? The fact that they initially refused to refund and then only issued a refund after being pressured by the police proves their ill intentions. We traveled using a local tour company, and were able to get a refund with the support of very kind local Sri Lankans, but it may have been difficult if we had not known anyone there. Staying at this hotel is like going to meet a scammer. I would also like to ask Booking.com, which lists such hotels, to take action. I am posting this review.

- Lakshan (10/5): Highly Recommended.. - I stayed at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, always friendly and attentive. The location was perfect. close to key attractions and easy to access. I also appreciated the excellent amenities, from the well-maintained pool to the delicious breakfast offered every morning. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

- Lokubalasuriya (2/5): Not great experience - The location is convenient to Kandy city centre and Temple relic tooth and also the train station. I have booked two ideal hotel rooms. One of the rooms didn't have working Air-conditioning. After complaining to the staff they have manually turned on , no controller found. Therefore we had to turn it off during the night.hotel wasn't cleaned. The facilities they have advertised for kids do not exist. The swimming pool didn't look clean. The staff didn't know what they were doing as they were not trained properly. When we ordered dinner after two hours of waiting with two small kids they told us they can't provide food due to an issue in the kitchen. They didn't know how to cook meals on the menu. They didn't warn us this first place otherwise we would have gone out somewhere else for dinner. Finally they brought us two portions of rice and curry and the portion size was very small . ( Two portions of rice with one portion size of a few curries). It was nothing like on the menue. ) they didn't provide water or anything to drink with the meal. When we requested they tried to charge separately for water and once we refused to pay for water they agreed to not charge. The hot water wasn't very warm either. Overall it wasn't a good experience and not worth what we paid for. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this hotel. The room wasn't cleaned and we were all bitten by bed bugs or mosquitos.

Wast hotel. - Please don't anyone tell this vedhi there is no guarantee for the money we give and besides the food is substandard also they come as 10% service building in addition to the accommodation we spend. The toilet doors cannot be locked properly. After two hours of waiting for breakfast, we got breakfast and even the food provided was of poor quality. Apart from that, the television bar in the channel is not of working quality and the face towel provided to us is also provided to us by someone else who scolds us. We were charged 10% more than the price registered on booking.com as service charge and tax, so please do not visit this hotel. They said that they have to pay 3% in addition to paying the total amount by credit card. This big hotel doesn't even have credit card payment facility. Customers please don't tell this hotel.

- Rikje (6/5): Pleasant - Staff really helpful and kind. Location 1 km on a busy road to the temple of the tooth. Enough tuktuks. Hygienic standard needs to be upgraded. Room cleanliness at start soso, but after one day in a small room with five persons you really need housekeeping. Glasses and cups for coffee at the breakfast buffet were not clean. We booked a five person family deluxe room which was rather Spartan. Moreover, very humid with moth on the walls. Towels didn’t get dry during the day. Pool needs to be cleaned, water is troubled. Broken chairs and cleaning stuff on side of the pool etc. Price - quality: due to the Perahera, our room was 120 euro per night (including good breakfast though), normal prices are around 60/70 I saw, that’s more reasonable for this room/standard.

Entertaining Sports Bar with the biggest range of alcohol and cocktails i have ever come across .played pool too and also good quality shisha compared to other shisha bars. nice swimming pool.

- Samuel (10/5): THE PLACE TO BE IN KANDY! - Had such a memorable stay here. I came for 1 night while in Kandy as a solo traveller. I was welcomed on arrival and ended up spending a good amount of the night chatting, laughing & eating with the owners. It was not busy when I arrived as it was not tourist season however I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a great time socially as the facilities they have on site are fantastic! There’s a Resturant, games area, huge pool and a good old school gym that I used to get a nice workout in before I left. The photos on booking.com do not truly reflect how great and amazing this place is. It’s also so much bigger than I thought it would be! If I come back to Kandy I’m definitely visiting during peak season and staying here! That I came during off season so could not fully experience the liveliness of the hotel

- Laura (7/5): Lovely calm and welcoming place in the heart of a busy city - We had a lovely balcony area outside of the room where we could sit and relax. Getting into central Kandy is only about a 15min walk but it is along a busy main road for some of it. Staff were very friendly. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was a little expensive
- Rohant (10/5): Best place to stay in Kandy. Value for Money - The room was excellent with a nice view overlooking the pool below. The location of the premise is central. Easily you can walk around to visit the Kandy lake and the Tooth Temple. The staff was super-friendly and hospitable. Especially the bar-man Thiru (I hope I wrote his name right), who helped me in find places and conveyance around during my stay. The staff also keenly changed my room when the A/c was not working. Kudos to that. Most of the staff do not communicate proper English, Hence the communication is a bit of a barrier. But their hospitable nature overcomes this shortcoming.

Stor forskjell på service basert på hvem som var på jobb. Enkel frokost. Vi hadde fine dager, men hotellet var en litt blandet opplevelse.

- Shariff (2/5): Needd work - Good points: location, of the main strip. Peaceful. Close to Tooth Temple and lake. Bad points: cleanliness of room and fixtures and fittings in bathroom. Terrible. Had some form of animal or insect waste on the pillows so they were unusable. Live wires next shower and shelves and towel rails that would fall down as soon as you placed anything on them. Bathmat was supplied with free mud/brown substance. Sri Lankan food in restaurant was poor. Served cold. Chef came out and put his fingers in and realised this then took it all away to be reheated and also sub par meat. Service in restaurant also questionable. He flat refused to believe any of it. He said the rooms were 100% before I went in. When challenged on the restaurant I was also told I was wrong because the chef ensures everything is tasty and piping hot. Well if that is the case then why did the chef come out, stick his fingers in all of the items and then take them away to be reheated? Also accused of stealing rooms in response to my review on Google. Manager sent porters to rooms with four keys, porters didn't speak English and they put bags in rooms without asking. You can't steal hotel rooms. Just shows poor admin as we were the only people checking in.
- Jon Magne (8/5): OK hotel - Nice hotel near Kandy, walking distance to the city centre. The rooms and pool was clean. In the three rooms we had the safe was not working in any of the rooms. The pool area was worn and the woodwork around the pool was rotten. When ordering hamburgers these was not sufficient cooked with red meat in the middle. Wi-fi was good when we received the code to the network for the hotel and not the guests.
- Eivind (6/5): 4 netter i Kandy - Hotellet ligger fint til med mye vegetasjon rundt og vi likte apekattene. Det er fint ute med masse blomster mm. Og fint ellers på fellesområdene. Herlig med basseng men det må rengjøres mye oftere, llikeså alle fellesområdene. På rommene er alt løst fra håndkleholder til vask. Kjøleskap og tekoker har felles kontakt og må brukes på skift. Kun en kontakt gil lading. Elendig wifi. Hyggelig personale som alltid sier ja, men alt tar sin tid. Vi spurte om å få ha rommet en dag ekstra pga.sykdom og det var helt ok. Så fikk vi beskjed dagen før opprinnelig avreise at det var fullt og vi måtte stresse ekstra pg ordne taxi mm.i siste liten. Ikke bra! I hotel.com sin beskrivelse av rommet er det mye feil. Vi hadde et delux dobbeltrom med utsikt mot bassenget. Ekstra seng gjør rommet trangt. Ikke sitteområde på rommet. Felles terasse med 4 stoler. Når man slår på lyset på toalett/bad går en vifte på og vifta er felles med naborommet og hvis de har lyser på om natta bråker det mye. Føler at hotellet prioriterer kinesiske reiseselskap. Ikke verd sine 4 stjerner.

The tables and chairs and relaxing furniture right in front of the room made our day. we were able to talk and so were other guests. service was excellent and the staff was friendly and ever willing to assist especially Mr. Irshad and his sub. We all discuss and give 9.5% out of 10 for this hotel. GREAT HOLIDAYS>
- BK (4/5): Needs maintainance - Hotel needs further touch up, bathroom door needs fixing remains open, also the bathroom had water pressure issues and hot water is an issue, they do not provide coffemate!
