Comme pour la grande majorité des hébergements dans Gamla Stan, l’accès avec des valises à roulettes n’est pas très confortable du fait des ruelles pavées du centre historique.

The building was full of original features and simply beautiful TV was smart with no aerial channels. The heating in bed rooms are overkill (2 heaters) while in the big living room was insufficient (1 heater). While location in central in the oldtown, if you have heavy luggage this can be a problem. Even during the permitted hour (6-11am), Uber will not come in and you will have to drag the luggage on cobblestones for 300m. Good point is that you are central to everywhere in the old town

Although it was snowing outside, we were cosy and warm. We were greeted by Matilda and were grateful that there was some tea and coffee to get us started. Nothing.

- Anne (8/5): Great location but you hear every sound in the building. - Friendly staff with good communication. Great location in Gamla Stan. Lots of cobbled streets so you'll have to carry your bags a long way. Cars can only go so far. Lots and lots of stairs so be ready. Old world decor. Floors were all wooden and creaked so loudly when we walked on them. We knew we were making noise for the apartment below us just by walking around. We could easily hear people above and below us. Our bedroom wall was next to the upper internal stairs so we heard people walking up and down them all night. There is no soundproofing. Bring your earplugs.

Da un posto così mi aspetto un supporto al cliente anche sulla città, i ristoranti e un minimo di supporto con valige e agibilità. Neanche una bottiglia di acqua in frigorifero. Freddo nelle stanze e non si capiva come funzionassero i termosifoni, forse al check in l'host poteva spiegarlo.

The apartment was very clean and spacious, decorated in the traditional Swedish style, and very functional. The premises is not directly accessible by taxi, so you have to walk some 5 minutes on cobblestone (which is not really a disadvantage, but might be important to keep in mind).

- William (9/5): Perfect old town location in a large apartment - Location heart of old town, quiet, nice kitchen with all appliances, beautiful painting in the living room, large bedroom, washer and dryer in a large apartment, easy access, great staff, metro,buses and boats 5-10 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again. WiFi was spotty and often disconnected, mattress and dining room chairs were uncomfortable, shower stall very tight.
- Catharine (10/5): Our Home Away from Home - Nestled right in the heart of Stockholm’s Old Town and within walking distance to the city’s museums, restaurants and tourist sites, by staying at Residence Perseus, we found ourselves in the centre of the city’s history, culture and convenience. We were two couples visiting Stockholm for a few days (3 nights) before boarding our cruise of the Viking Homelands. The location was not only easy to find but ideal – about a 20 minute walk from the Central train station. The last half of the walk was a bit tough going, dragging our suitcases over all those cobble stones. But it was a small price to pay for staying in such a great place. Matilda was on hand to check us in and show us around the apartment. I read the description of each apartment carefully before selecting Glory 2 – a two bedroom, one bathroom unit located on the ground floor with laundry facilities. I have knee issues and find it difficult to navigate stairs. Given that there is no elevator in this building, obtaining a ground floor unit was essential. We also corresponded with Matilda before our arrival to notify her of our expected arrival time. Given that there was no elevator, being on the ground floor was ideal, no need to drag any suitcase up flights of stairs. It should be noted that there is also a laundry room located on the ground floor that is available for all guests. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. One bedroom had a queen bed, while the other two twins, both rooms were quiet large and there was plenty of space to spread out. The bathroom had a washing machine which was well used as we had already been on the road for over a week. The kitchen was well equipped, but we only ate breakfast and the odd lunch. The sitting area/living room was huge – plenty of sitting area for the four of us and an excellent area to just relax after a full day of sightseeing. Excellent wi-fi and Net-flicks was available. Another night or two.

A lovely location in a 16thC building in lovely, historic Gamla Stan. 20 mins walk to Central Station. 5 mins to the ferry and Coop supermarket. High-quality fitout throughout, spacious three rooms with a full kitchen. Great bed, excellent blockiut curtains. Terrific shower and bathroom. TV with Netflix. A couple of thoughtful touches...umbrellas, salt and pepper. Flexible checkout. A really perfect stay.
- Rupert (10/5): Exceptional - This is a perfectly located apartment in the heart of Stockholm's old town but away from the busier tourist streets. It is quiet especially at night and has views over the rooftops and towards the neighbouring island. Inside some of the original features have been retained but with modern kitchen, bathroom, etc. From the property it is easy to walk or take the ferry to most of the main tourist sights. It is a short walk to a small supermarket and many cafes, bars and restaurants mainly aimed at tourists. A slightly longer walk across the bridge to Slussen leads to many more local places to eat drink and shop. Nothing

- Maggie (9/5): Lovely apartment in the old town - It was a very clean and well equipped apartment. It was warm and cosy. The shower pressure was great. Excellent location in the old town, near lots of restaurants and shops. Beds were a little soft and the shower leaked, but that's it.
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Great location in the middle of Gamla stan, easy connection to metro / ferry / train, clean and comfortable room. The place was just a street away from nice restaurants and bars, but quiet during the night.

- Fonda (9/5): Spacious apartment in great location - Great location. The apartment was very spacious. I provided our flight arrival time but no one was there to hand over the keys. Despite all the phone numbers the property provided us, all calls went to voice mail. We had to call Booking.com to find someone from the property to let us in.

- Wendy (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay! - The location was amazing, easy walking distance to everything Gamla Stan has to offer. Supermarket and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Based on reviews from others, I made sure I selected a ground floor apartment and was glad I did :-) The old building is just beautiful, but no elevator means you have to be able to manage bags up and down stairs. Also, the area is limited to cars during certain times. This meant that our driver had to drop us as close to the apartment as possible and then it was dragging our bags over cobblestones for a little way. It was all worth it though! The apartment was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable. The huge kitchen was extremely well equipped. We were greeted by Matilda who was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
