• Dennis (6/5): Good value for the money. - The staff (when they were around) was very friendly and helpful. I liked the mattress--my partner didn't. The room was clean and pretty good-sized. The property is within walking distance of the Cathedral and city center and the train/bus station in Murcia. It was sometimes difficult to find the staff. We wanted to leave our luggage the morning we left while we went to get something to eat. There was no one at the front desk. We waited in the lobby for half an hour, but no one came, so we had to drag our luggage with us. Although there were two of us, when the room was cleaned, they only left one towel and one small container of body wash. The bed had one long pillow that spanned the width of the bed, and there was one regular-sized pillow in the closet. My partner ended up using the regular pillow and I used the long one with half of it hanging off the bed.

• Cindy (9/5): Almost perfect but - The staff were excellent and the breakfast was excellent too Unfortunately, when we arrived in the room, we found a half consumed Spanish omelette and some type of eaten fish in the fridge. If it hadn't been for that, we would have given it 5 stars, as the rest of the stay was really good. We will gladly go back to this hotel.

Fantastic Minor issue with check in as they send you a link to an app which ended up in my junk mail. However messaging the property directly resolved it and they were there to check me in.

Convenient for bus station Bit of a convoluted way to enter the hotel when you first arrive, including the need to download an app. I needed to translate their message in Spanish on my phone - but it all worked ok so I guess can’t really complain. Other people (dare I say “older people”) may struggle though

Staff and communication was excellent and would stay again. Room was a little small but adequate for what I needed but air conditioning machine didn’t look clean (so didn’t use it).

They claim to be keen to conserve water but plugs would help. Initially contact was poor and without a reception desk this is important. User comments claimed parking nearby is easy - it certainly wasn’t!

The hotel is old, but seems to be clean, except for the air conditioning, it looks like the filters have never been changed. Great price! The staff spoke very little English, which made it challenging when we needed something. The front desk lady wasn’t very friendly, but this might have been due to the language barrier. Poor Internet connection.

• Javier (6/5): - Reserve una habitación con cama de matrimonio y nos dieron una con dos camas individuales, en la que una de ellas el colchón era imposible dormir en el. Al día siguiente nos dieron la opción a cambiarnos a otra habitación en la que si tenia cama de matrimonio y tuvimos que hacer de nuevo las maletas y cambiar de habitación.

• Fernando (10/5): Hotel Limpio y en buena localización!! - Hotel clàsico, super limpio, y con amabilidad por parte de la gente que trabajaba . Sólo estuvimos dos noches, pero la verdad que nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Está bastante cerca del centro (5-7 minutos a pie), y en buen sitio. Volveremos a Murcia pronto, quizás en un par de meses y será nuestra primera opción.
• Ste (8/5): Ideally situated budget hotel - Not too far from the railway station, or the centre of town, this hotel is cheap, cheerful and clean. The rooms are quiet, and the staff are great. This is my go to hotel in Murcia. I've stopped here numerous times, and will stop here again. Nothing at all. The Casa Emillio isn't The Hilton, but it's great value for money.

The staff were all very friendly and we liked the fact you could have breakfast or a drink on site. The hotel was always kept clean. Our room was supposed to have a garden view but we looked straight out onto another building so the curtain was always kept closed. Our request for extra pillows was not forthcoming and I hadn´t realised there was no hairdryer in the room.
