Das Frühstück war auch schön. Es könnte vielleicht ein klein wenig mehr Auswahl an Wurst und Brot sein (persönliche Meinung von mir). Aber das Frühstück war so wie es ist auch gut. Danke!!!!

Nadeel was dat de doordringende lucht van gebakken eieren en spek voor het ontbijt, ‘s morgens door de hal en onze kamer ging. We werden daar wakker van. Wellicht keukendeur dicht houden. De douche zat in bad wat gevaarlijk kan zijn omdat er geen ruwe bodem zat in douche gedeelte.

Works in the street at 7am on a SATURDAY and reception didn’t advise us.. There is no free parking. Price is too high for what you get. Really disappointed.

In a safe quiet area just outside of Old Town We had a car and the parking was very safe, tight, but fine The hotel is an 18 minute walk to Old Town which was fine with us. The walk is pleasant and we walked everywhere. There is transit close by, but for our summer time visit, walking was perfect. Service and personnel were spot on. The reception area is 24/7 and cheerful at all hours Breakfast is a delicious array of flavors. The breakfast area is downstairs There were a few fruit flies, but not a hygiene issue, just the nature of fresh fruits and juices in the summer We would most definitely come come here again. Our comments are to prepare first time european visitors to the nuances.... the City is amazing, the people are warm when you greet them with a smile and this hotel features all the best of the City

Our room was at the top and the headroom was not great in some areas because of slopping roof and there are no English speaking channels on the TV but we were in Poland so can't complain really. It is a comfortable walk to the main square. Make sure you visit the ice cream kiosk in the park down the road.

Alex (10/5): Lovely Hotel - Faultless. - After arriving at the Hotel Grottger, we were welcomed with a stunning reception and bar area. Our room was upgraded and the staff were incredible. A young lady called, Monika was argubly the most helpful receptionist I've ever dealt with and I've travelled all over the world. Room was spotlessly clean and its exactly a 20 minute walk to the market square. I couldn't reccomend this hotel more. 10 out of 10.

Apache (10/5): Great modern boutique hotel!! - Great modern hotel within 20 minutes walking distance to the main square in Krakow. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all the mod con essentials. European breakfast available which includes scrambled egg, bacon and make your own toast. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You can book all the main tours and taxis via the hotel reception.
Victor (10/5): A little gem tucked into a quiet neighborhood - My experience with the hotels in Poland is generally very positive. But I really fell in love with this little gem. My son and I stayed here for three nights. Everyone who works here went an extra mile, perhaps even two extra miles, to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. The staff at the reception, at the breakfast cafeteria and the cleaning lady – all made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. My extra special thanks go to Monica who worked at the reception on the early morning of my departure. Not only she took the initiative and called my room at 3:00am to make sure I don't miss my early flight, but she also brewed me a cup of coffee and packed me a hearty breakfast to go. The location is pretty nice and tucked away from the crowds. If you don't mind a 10 minute walk to the Old Town, then you would appreciate this quiet neighborhood with very calm traffic. Too bad I am constrained with the five star rating only – I feel like giving all ten to this hotel and its lovely crew!

Russell (10/5): Nice hotel near to centre of town - Lovely hotel that is clean ,has friendly staff and offers a comprehensive selection for breakfast. The hotel is a short walk from a tram stop that is a few minutes ride to the centre of Cracow. The staff all appear to speak English and help out if any enquiry is put to them. The room we had was nicely decorated with all amenities the only minor complaint I personally had was the bed was too hard for my liking but that is a subjective arguement and not really the hotels problem. Any excursions that are offered can be booked directly at the hotel , these are a little more expensive than some operators in the city but the tours were very well organised in good roadworthy vehicles with drivers who were prompt and knowledgable.
James (10/5): Hotel Grottger - Just stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Grottger and what a wonderful hotel it is. The hotel is situated just a 15 minute walk from the main square in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel looks fresh and clean and the rooms a nicely furnished. If I had and criticisms it would be that the breakfast had a limited choice of hot items and the TV in the bedroom had limited English speaking channels( we could only find one) Overall the hotel is excellent and we would recommend it to friends and family.

Dee (10/5): Wonderful Weekend Getaway - This hotel is superb. Its very chic and modern. Looks exactly like the photos. Did not disappoint. Staff is super friendly. Provided local maps and directions for the buses, trains/trams. Not only did the front desk clerk provide the actual bus numbers to take, she informed us of how to pay once on the bus/tram. This was extremely helpful as you pay the auto machine in the middle of the bus/tram, not the driver or in the front. Very close walk to public transportation as well, maybe 5 mins. Hotel is not far from main attractions, i.e. market square is probably about a 20-25 minute walk; so by tram is pretty quick. Breakfast was nice. Coffee and teas; fresh fruit, eggs (eggs available as made to order also), fresh pastries/bread, cheese & vegetable tray, several side dishes like chicken salad, egg salad, etc. Very pleased. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely breakfast. Helpful staff (Monica in particular), who will arrange trips with very little notice. Minimum 20 minute walk to town square, half hour to Castle and river, 40 minutes to Jewish Quarter Not a hotel you can pop back to when out and about! Tram stop 5 mins walk. Buy ticket beforehand. Taxis quiet cheap. £6 back from Tauron Arena (roads quiet tho!)

April (10/5): Gorgeous modern hotel, amazing service! - Our stay at Hotel Grottger could not have gone any better! It felt like we were in the most luxury hotel, for SUCH an amazing price - you just can't beat it. The room was huge, very modern, and super clean. The staff spoke great English, and was so helpful in coordinating any tours we wanted to take, or recommendations for dinner. The hotel was only a 20 minute walk to the center of Krakow, and it was nice to be a bit outside of the very downtown. The breakfast was also great, and we looked forward to getting up to have breakfast. I normally don't write reviews, but we had such an amazing experience at Hotel Grottger that I had to rave about it. Would never stay anywhere else again when visiting Krakow!
Rebecca (10/5): Lovely hotel with friendly staff. - We loved this hotel. Just a short walk into town but in a quiet neighbourhood and easy to get to the main station too. Staff always had a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble.
mandy (10/5): Grwat hotel!! - Lovely hotel, great staff who were so friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they left us a bottle of champagne in room which was a nice touch. Highly recommend. Thank you only wish we could stay longer

David (10/5): Home from home - everyone was so helpful and welcoming and organised everything for us They did not make us feel that they were obliged to help us but they treated us like a best friend. Top class hotel and even though its 20 minutes from the main square well worth the walk and when we are going back we would not think of staying anywhere else
Tom (10/5): Great place, very clean and nice inside. - Lovely hotel, very helpful staff - was able to check in early and they arranged tours very easily. The town square is about a 15minute walk which is the only negative.

Mr. Geoffrey (10/5): - Lovely little place. Very clean, in fact spotless. Polite and friendly staff. Great breakfast too. Only one teeny issue...the walls are a bit thin, you can really hear your neighbours. Ours weren't noisy, just chatting, showering, opening drawers etc. and we could hear it all. But a pair of ear plugs did the trick.
linda (10/5): Very special boutique hotel - couldn't fault it. - Last 2 trips away we have stayed in a boutique hotel & this certainly did not disappoint. We were on the second floor but we did not spend a long time actually in the room and it had everything that was needed for a perfect stay. Any problems (minor ones) were dealt with efficiently and promptly and nothing was too much bother from booking restaurants to organising taxis. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main square but ,as we enjoy walking, it really didn't bother us. Taxis are so reasonably priced that when it was pouring, we took a taxi. The hotel is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was lovely with probably the best scrambled eggs I have add & cooked to order. Had a quiet drink in the reception/ bar area on a few nights and again attention to detail with chocolates and nuts to accompany the drink & not expensive. Also provided fresh milk to have with the coffee in the room in a little jug.

Verified traveler (10/5): - A short stay during my first trip to Krakow. What should I say about this place, Service,Comfort,Location. Top in all. Its about 10 min walk to the market square but still tucked away from the noisy traffic and close to transportation. The room was above and beyond my expectation, friendly staff and a spotless very well kept room, far better than some high dollar places I've stayed. I am not a foodie, but the breakfast they served there was was amazing. If you're used to the junk they serve as breakfast, at the Holiday Inns and Sheratons, try this place. Overall I'd very highly recommend this place.

Terry (8/5): Pleasant hotel, walking distance from centre - Pleasant staff on the whole, ok location, about 25 minutes walk from the centre of Krakow. Slightly strange that asking for a latte with breakfast you get told it is extra, and you have to go get it yourself from upstairs in the lobby!
melissa (10/5): Smart hotel near the centre of Krakow - New and very chic hotel. The decor was tasteful and everything was clean and fresh. The staff were very helpful and unobtrusive. Breakfast was included in the price and this was delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel is a little way from the old town but easily walkable and near to the tram route.
Matthys (8/5): Friendly well situated boutique hotel. - Friendly homelike experience. Miss gym and sauna fasciities. Rooms clean and nice. Bathroom with rather small shower. This compensated by extremely helpful staff.
Cathy (10/5): - The Grottger Hotel exceeded our expectations. It is situated in a very quiet residential neighborhood about a 20 minute walk to the city center. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast that was provided in the morning was phenomenal. In addition to the breakfast buffet we were offered a hot breakfast. The food was very fresh and well prepared. My husband a I have travelled all over the world and the thing that impressed us the most was the staff at the Grottger Hotel. They were very frendly, helpful and professional. I would like to thank Magda and Monica for all their help during our stay.
Kevin (10/5): Beautiful Krakow - Everything about our stay at the Grottger Boutique Hotel was first class. The reception and catering staff were just so friendly and helpful, you couldn't have asked for more. The location of the hotel is in a residential area but was ideal as it enabled us to walk to and from the old town in about 20 minutes. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the hotel again.
