Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No air conditioning- bathroom sink in common area - 4 tv channels all French no English - bathtub taps stripped - toilet doesn’t flush properly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The water barely turned on; the hair dryer even though permanently installed and plugged in did not work; the bathroom door did not close couldn’t use shower since staying with other guests; hotel should be a 1 star or less; price charged was robbery.
- Laurie&Harry (6/5): - Dated. Advertised items sauvh as: Waterslides - not operating. Pool - Iffy. TV - Nope. WiFi - Nada. Add ceiling lights burnt out. Not enough toilet paper, etc. However, it was a port in a storm when we needed it and so we appreciated the facilty being there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - lovely camp ground. checked in late and left early, so no time to enjoy the pool or playground. had problems connecting to wifi. I think its just very remote from towers. room was clean and had a very friendly reception.
- Jane (2/5): - There was no cottage available for us as they double booked. Was on the road for 12 hours and needed a place. The staff didn’t seemed concerned and not helpful in finding us a place. The entire property is rundown and dirty. The 2 men at the front desk were in their pj bottoms and ripped sweatshirts. There was no air conditioning available in any rooms. I am shocked this place is open and strongly suggest it should be condemned.
- Megan (10/5): Good place to stay - Hotel room was very very clean and the people working there were nice
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Staff can not speak English, he can not use payment mashing. The rooms are not clean, no toilet paper. But price was expensive.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The floors were so dirty we had to keep our shoes on to walk from the bed to the bathroom.
My daughter forgot, & when she walked back in bare feet she brushed her feet together to clean them before getting in bed. I could actually hear the sand and debris hitting the floor.
- Stephen (4/5): It was the only vacancy we could find - It felt dingy and minimally cared for. We'll avoid staying at that place again.
- chris (2/5): almost led to divorce - Only reason for staying was the outdoor water slide, which was broken. Room was filthy, too hot, terribly uncomfortable. Wifi didn't work, neither did the hige cathode ray TV from the '90s. One staff member was super-nice but overall this place is an embarrassment to the hospitality industry.
- stephane (2/5): terrible experience - we had booked the day before a room with two double beds. Upon check-in, the guy at the front desk first told us he had no reservation for us, and I had to show him on his registry that he had. He gave us the key, and we opened the smelly room, and discovered that there was only one bed ! Went back to the front desk, he man told me there was no other room, so he asked his assistant to bring a small mattress for my daughter. The mattress cover was stained and torn and the guy told us not to worry, that we would not be charged for that ! Of course he didn't bring extra sheets.
- atakan (2/5): - I had a motorcycle trip in Atlantic Canada adn stayed at the motels 7 days. This one was the most expensive one and most disgusting one. There are lots of hairs on the mattress shower was dirty.
- Fran (2/5): STAY away - My husband felt he was on the set of Twin Peaks...Disco lights and music played all night to storage area...no drinkable water...told to ignore signs about the drinking water...no hot water still after several requests AND the next morning. Nothing worked...fridge, stove, TV. stay away....far away...sleep in your car!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): never again - the room has not been cleaned, garbage in the can, sink with dirt and hair, refrigerator had dirt in every areas. The gentleman was polite. The WiFi was next to impossible to access and there was a note posted in the room to boil the water before consuming. I'm glad we brought our own water.
- Verified traveler (2/5): We did not stay! - This is not for people who care about cleanliness. Very run down and shabby. Worse still was the fact they tried to put us in an unclean room. They clearly remade the beds without washing the sheets. Hairs all through the bed. The floors were covered I stones and dirt. The last people's old booklets were still in room. We couldn't get away fast enough.
- david (4/5): Disappointing Motel, didn't feel safe. - Stayed in the superior chalet. Easily pop screens out of windows. Terrible pull-out couch. Crumbs under pillow. Had to ask for necessary bedding we required. Only two towels for 4 of us. Pool only open for 6 hours of the day... We arrived at 7pm and it was closed, we left at 9am and it wasn't open yet. There is a great looking water slide, but it was broken and unusable.
- Daniel (2/5): Pool closed at 5:00 but we saw Santa - This was a last minute booking on our way back from the Maritimes. The two pleasant owners had no clue what a junior suite was as they reviewed their paper grid to see if there was a room for us. A suite was available with one and a half beds. The half a bed was wrapped in plastic and gave off moans and farting noises all night long....we checked inside the pillow case to see if there actually was a patio stone put there by mistake.
There were no night stands or lamps by the beds. The bathroom door opened between the two beds. That is the only floor space.
There were no accessible electrical outlets. To plug anything in we needed to fish out the extension cord that was used to power the TV and fridge.
There was only internet access if you stood in the parking lot. The proprietor thought the metal roof was stopping the internet from going into the room.
There was no safety chain or safety measures on the door or window. No air conditioning.
The toilet had not been flushed or cleaned from the last user. The toilet seat had what looked like excrement on it. The water was not potable. The bathroom and shower door did not close.
There was hot water for 2 showers.
One of the biggest attractions was the large water slide and pool. Both are only open from noon to 5 pm. It was a hot and sunny day and the place brimming with children. They were celebrating Christmas and we got to see Santa!
Free coffee in the main office.
