Guest Reviews
- Beth (10/5): - This auberge is a little gem. A warm and friendly inn keeper, a friendly cat, a beautiful quiet lakeside location, a clean cheery well appointed room. The property is more motel than hotel since the rooms are down the hill from the main house and have outdoor entrances however he living room and the porch are open for use by the guests. The rooms are well equipped with coffee pots, a toaster, a microwave, and a little cabinet with dishes, glasses, and silverware. Be advised that unlike some of the older reviews there is no restaurant on the premises and they do not serve breakfast. This was a lovely little surprise after a long day of travel!
- Kathy (10/5): - Beautiful view of the lake

- Chantal (10/5): - TB, merci.
- Monique (10/5): - Très bel endroit vraiment sur le bord du lac. Très paisible. À recommander
- kayla (10/5): - Beautiful old home with antiques in the main house. I discovered the owner took over the business from their parents and kept it up wonderfully it seems! She is so kind, she even opened a glass case so I could have a closer look at her grandmothers (?) dress. The property is beautiful and well maintained, she has a cute cat that wanders the gardens as well (always a bonus). Pristine updated rooms, beautiful view, parking right in front of room (I like this as I usually haul items in my rooftop bag and need to see them from the window/ for the sake of my joints when carrying bags into the room). Muskoka chairs to watch sunset/sunrise over the gorgeous waters. Also - as a disabled person it is very accessible and the shower is larger than average shower units with a good sized seat! The coffee is amazing as well, an Italian espresso brand. Thank you so much for the amazing stay and I will be back soon - can't wait to bring my partner there, a great romantic spot. And AFFORDABLE!! ✨
- Diane (10/5): - Aceuil exemplaire propreté des lieux exemplaire et très bel environnement face au lac Témiscouata

- Nancy (10/5): - Very quaint. We had a smaller room but was aware of this. The main auberge is beautiful. Would be nice to have a fire pit or communal barbecue for those not having the cooking amenities. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay.
- Lynn Marie (10/5): - Friendly service. Beautiful view. Secluded pebble beach. Lake is a swimmable. Very clean room. Everything is compact, but everything was there: A/C, microwave, fridge, dishes, coffee, dish cleaning paraphernalia. Unique bed clothes - not institutional. Loved the picnic table and chairs, and Adirondack chairs on the beach.

- Stephen (10/5): - Great location, amazing feel and history
A bientôt.
.

- Kathy (10/5): - A lovely stay in a spectacular setting conviently located at the halfway point of Le Petit Temis bike path (section between Degelis and Cabano).
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely motel. Super clean and modern. - Super except for no air conditioning. Lovely lake. Quiet at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Stay here! - Excellent....all around. Hotel staff even made up for Expedia's short comings.
- Kimberly (10/5): - We have stayed several times before and will continue to come back! And the food is incredible!!!!
- Roger (10/5): Nice - Very nice place. Like walking into a 70's retro room, but well maintained. No big screen TV. But who needs one,! Nature puts on a much better show.
The owner is great, the food was super, and the view excellent. The main building is a nice old lodge. Very comfy and pretty.
If you want a yuppie place, this is not for you. This is about natural beauty, and the lake is wonderful for morning meditation and coffee.
