Marjorie (7/5): - Great location with very accommodating staff.the hotel was clean . Breakfast was good also. We were placed in room 2&3 at second floor. The room was good but the aircon cannot adequately cool the room. I wasn't able to sleep also because I can hear the outside street and the room was very bright during the day that I cannot really rest during the day. It would also be nice if there was additional bathroom in the family room as 1 bath inside another room (2) makes it hard to go to the bathroom when you stay in room 3. but the rooms in the ground floor where my father stayed was very nice with good sound proofing and good airconditioning.

Rachel Terri (10/5): Our stay was a true staycation and a relaxing get away. - The pool and the grounds were quite beautiful. The house was a beautiful historic house. We rented the family suite and a separate room with a queen size bed. The suite was really neat with two rooms off a formal sala. The pool was very refreshing. The restaurant was amazing and food so delicious! The free breakfast was a real value but we also had dinner which was delicious. We stated during summer so it was very hot and the ac in the individual rooms were great but the sala was too hot to spend time in. Also there is only one bathroom in the suite so you had to go through the bedroom of the second bedroom to use it.

May (10/5): It was a great way to revisit the colonial part of our history. The photo session at Recuerfos, conveniently located ac - The vintage look made us feel how life would have been in the olden times. I praise owners for keeping things as close to ambiance of that era as practical as possible. There were no lifts for higher floors but no big deal as iit would have ruined the vintage atmosphere. It should be stated in the advert though for the benefit of seniors with mobility issues.

We tried to chnage but wanting to charge as much as what we had already paid. The house only had aircon in the bedrooms, in which one was not working well. No aircon in lounge room. Surrounding area was boring and not much to do.

Thomas (8/5): The correct hotel for a short stay and visit of Taal. - The location was perfect to easily walk and reach the limited numbers of touristic hot spots in Taal. It is worth to visit the wet market since there you can find a huge amount of fresh food etc. on display. The pool of the hotel was perfectly sized and the view from its location to the West Philippine Sea (WPS) over the city was beautiful. The restaurant had unfortunately only a limited amount of a locally(!) produced beer on stock. While the quality of the "local" food was good and plenty of option. N.A.
Jerwin (8/5): Lovely short stay in Taal! To recommend :) - Staffs are very kind and helpful. Always available when needed. The swimming pool was great and it was nice to have food choices for breakfast. Isolation of the room, noise was very loud during the night/morning. It would be great if the lighting in the room were brighter. It could also be nice to have curtains that actually darkens the room for a better sleeping rest as the sun is up from 5-6 am. Lastly, it was too bad the bar closes early.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially the Kuyas at the entrance. Their warm welcome set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained. The linens were clean and smelled wonderful, and the bathrooms were spotless. The ambiance was very homey and welcoming, making us feel as though we had traveled back in time. The community atmosphere truly added to the charm of our stay. The food at Cucina de Jardin was fantastic and worth every penny. Additionally, we highly recommend Casa Recuerdos for photoshoots. The costumes were laundered and clean, and the staff were very accommodating, assisting us up to the last minute. Overall, our stay at Paradores del Castillo was delightful, and we would highly recommend it to friends and family. Water supply in the shower can improve

Jezreel Gaius (8/5): - We stayed at Casa de Herencia which was just behind the church. It was decent. Lots of bugs though on the ground floor but the sheets and beds were clean. You can't expect too much from an old house but they did their best to maintain it. The staff overall were very helpful and accommodating though the front desk girl was a bit annoying. The manager also did not want to honor Senior Citizen's Discount for an extra bed we requested, which was a bit off-putting. The breakfast at the restaurant was pretty good. Overall its above average for a provincial stay in the Philippines but definitely not at par with international standards. It is still nice to experience something different in the countryside.
Toni (10/5): Wonderful stay in Taal - I love the ambiance and the design of the hotel. Location is super convenient also as all are walking distance and near the national highway. Staffs are hospitable also. The leather bed. This is personal; should not impact the hotel’s credibility and service.

Edgar (10/5): Perfect. Would like to stay again someday. - It has an ambience of nostalgia. But still cozy. Had good night sleep every night. Less crowded. Lots of chairs and tables outside the room for us to spend day or night just lounging. The internet signal very strong anywhere within the property. The food was great. The staff very accommodating. Location is great as it’s about walking distance to the main town center. But if one wants to go to malls which are just a few kilometers away, there’s a public transportation (motorized tricycles) available outside. Nothing really significant. Although there’s a window in the room but I’m wishing there’s a glass/screen on the window for sunlight to get in the room and to appreciate the view outside without letting in flying insects.

James (10/5): Heritage - Heritage house, friendly staff, nice rooms, clean, nice breakfast. Not really didn't like, but you just need to know that since Taal is an old town, streets are narrow. The restaurant closes early, and you need to be patient with your order.

Maria (10/5): A place that makes you feel like home! - It was like travelling back in time! The whole house was a showcase of the grand old days! The creativity and artistry of the Filipinos could be seen in even the smallest details of the house. A walk through time and history, for sure! And the staff! They were the ultimate in making our stay comfortable. The warmth and friendliness of everyone felt like we were coming home to family and not just visiting. A big thank you to Leonard, Roselyn, Marian, Bisoy and everyone else I did not manage to get the name of! You all deserve 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Nothing

Blanc (10/5): Exceptional - Staff are very accomodating, super friendly and polite, warm hospitality, food is delicious, place is clean and cozy... It's like staying in a museum. Swimming pool and facilities are clean. We enjoyed our stay. The annex family villa where we stayed is quite far from main... We don't have a car, but they provided shuttle service to transport us to and fro the main hotel where the swimming pool and breakfast are located... There's no private pool in the annex family villa even though the posting shows it.
Jake (8/5): Very good - Paradores is a jewel of a hotel in Taal. Its an aura of magical vintage ness that exudes the opulent Filipino spirit. Every guest will be billeted to experiences of walking back in time, Philippine scene, by this hotel. The mattress used in one of the beds has seen the best of times, so to speak. May the management find it soon and replace promptly

Raymond (8/5): - The facilities is opt for accidents or fall. Ground floors have a lot of uneven payment that will cause accident. I don't know if they ever had any claim from their guests? Likewise, they are the only hotel we encounter limiting bottle of water to 2 bottles for the duration of your stay. The rest you have to pay Php42.00 each. However, their bfast is super great!

Neil (9/5): Keep it up! - It was our second time in this establishment. There was no swimming pool yet in the past and the restaurant has gone bigger and better. The location is expectedly excellent because it is right at the center where interesting spots can be reached through walking. Very nice view at the deck. The room is very clean and the food (buffet breakfast) was excellent. Very warm and helpful staff. There was a little problem with the A/C initially but it was quickly resolved. Shower water pressure can be improved.
