Eine Art Laubengang wo wir Morgens unseren ersten Kaffee trinken konnten Leider nicht besonders Sauber ! Das gibt einem kein gutes Gefühl Es war aber ok nachdem wir unser Zimmer einmal Richtig selbst geputzt hatten ! Alle Ablagen waren schmutzig , von der Decke hing Spinnweben und anderes Tot Geklatsche Mücken an den Wänden ! Konnte aber alles beseitigt werden , wäre nur schön gewesen wenn wir das Nicht hätten machen müssen

• Iris Maria (8/5): - Die Lage und das Personal war sehr freundlich.Zu Fuss super feines Frühstück, zentral gelegen, Altstadt, Einkaufen alles zu Fuss Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, Mückennetze wie Fenster sind oft defekt oder nicht schiebbar. Ein wenig Unterhaltsarbeit wäre sinnvoll.

• Shuk Fun (Jackie) (10/5): Love my stay at this guest house, will be back for sure! - - Location is very good, only 15-20 mins walk to different markets. - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Offer Burmese food at reception area. - Terrance outside the room is perfect. - Local market, convenience store, message shops, restaurants and cafes are just 5 mins walk away. - Very comfortable bed and linen. - Water for shower is not warm enough for cool days, even the heater was turned to max. temperature. - The furniture in room are a bit vintaged.

• Kosta (5/5): personnel super cool et disponible mais chambres et équipements à améliorer - le personnel super sympa et bien placé ainsi que pas mal de fournitures chaque jours le wifi marchait pas il était trop peu puissant se déconnectait tout le temps, fenêtres qui se ferme pas dans la salle de bain donc horde de moustique en permanence et il en reste écrasés sur le mur, eau froide les 2 premiers jours mais on est venu nous régler le problème donc c’était cool

La différence de prix entre la location directe d’une chambre et la location en ligne qui coûte le double par rapport au prix sur place

Ne pas confondre avec le Sripoom 2 plus récent avec piscine et ascenseur à quelques mètres de là. Au 3ème étage sans ascenseur, c'est difficile de monter et descendre les valises. Chambre confortable sans plus.

• JORDI (7/5): - La ubicación sin duda y la cama era cómoda No tenía armario ni estanterías donde dejar la ropa, ventana pequeña, no había sitio en el baño para los enseres personales, zonas comunes de acceso muy dejadas.
• Keng (9/5): Overall was a great experience. I would come back again and recommend to others. - Within Old Town but not on a busy/touristy street. It remained quiet during our stay throughout the lantern festival, but only steps away from all the action. Walking distance to laundry service, 7-Eleven, The House By Ginger, Lanna Square and more. We rented a car to go to Chiang Rai and they had free parking in their large lot. Every day when we came back from exploring, they hung a bag outside our room which included toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, shampoo, body wash, water, instant coffee pack, creamer pack and sugar pack. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A bit out dated but not a big deal.

• Paol (9/5): Hotel modesto, pero limpio con personal amable. - Tenía alojamiento en Airbnb para los 6 días de mi estancia, pero el anfitrión desapareció a mi llegada. Al final tuve que hospedarme en 4 sitios diferentes ya que al ser semana de festividades todo estaba ocupado o carísimo, este fue mi segundo hotel, es un lugar modesto, pero limpio y el personal es amable. La cama era un poco dura, pero creo que esto es una cosa típica de Asia en general más que una deficiencia del hotel. Los dos primeros días pensé que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y que el agua caliente estaba roto, pero resulta que hay que levantar las dos clavijas encima de la luz del baño, el tercer día pude lavarme con agua caliente. No está señalizado y es la primera vez que veía este sistema.

• Gabriel (10/5): - The most supporting and friendliest staff ever, from the minute I walked in and left they treated me like family. I highly recommend it. Everything I needed was in the immediate area, from food to washing my clothing. If I needed taxi service ,it was taken care of in no time.

This hotel offers an entirely unique experience, delivering comfort beyond expectations. Of course, like any place, it has its flaws—but they only add to its charm. We know this review is a bit vague, but that’s intentional—we don’t want to spoil the experience for you. Our only recommendation: book at least five days to truly enjoy it!

You can rent a bike from the hotel & it really is a great location. A beautiful Burmese family take care of you and make you feel extra welcome, they work so hard to make sure you have the best stay, we was only supposed to stay 3 nights but we ended up staying 5 because of how amazing this hotel is and the people. I would highly recommend if you’re in Chang Mai to stay here. Everything is accessible easily and if you need anything all the staff are so lovely and can’t do enough to help you. It was one of my favourite places to stay and we had the best time here.

• Anne (7/5): Easy-going place - Quiet location in the north-eastern corner of the old town, no cleaners disturbing, helpful staff if around, relaxed place. As I came to check-in at 1 pm, which they had approved, there was no one around. (Ringing bell didn't help, maybe the new message through booking.com did.) At 1.45 pm someone showed up and started to look for the key. It took 10 minutes to find it. When I got to the room, it was not cleaned. Maybe the reception area could also use a bit of organising. Not everyone appreciates it, if there is no cleaning of the room for a week. Toilet paper has to be asked separately, it is given one roll at a time. Also easy to fix would be to add a small table lamp into the room.

• Sophia (4/5): Inaccurate web booking info - The information given in the booking website stated that free airport shuttle is available if arranged before hand -- this is false. It also stated that reception is open until 10 p.m. but late check in could be arranged. We arrived before 10 p.m. but there was no one at the reception. We waited more than an hour, getting really anxious as it was getting late and we were wondering if we were going to have go looking for another hotel in the middle of the night. We tried calling not only the info in the booking confirmation but also flyers available in the reception area, but no one answered and we get messages only Thai. Eventually a helpful guest who had a mobile no. for the hotel owner helped us get in touch, and we did get into our room before midnight. This is also not a four star hotel as categorized in the website. I would not even rate it a two star. It is basically a family business. The property is run down, although clean. Even sheets and towels are laundered in house, and though clean, some of them have stains that could not be removed. It is good value for budget traveler, who only have basic requirements of a clean place to sleep and friendly staff, but the booking website needs to be more accurate.

• Ｋｅｉ (8/5): 相変わらず＜ほっとかれ度＞満点の自由気ままな住処 - 雨季の八月：シーズンオフ真っ最中にて、街中のファランは極めて少数、行きつけのマッサージ屋のスタッフも、今週は客が一人だけと嘆いていた。ターペー門辺りに中国人観光客は多数集まり、いつも大撮影会を開催中。でも彼らはマッサージに来ないしーーーー。毎日雨が降ったり止んだりで随時雷と猛烈なスコール、貸自転車屋も飲食店も暇そうです。但し、週末のウィークエンドマーケットだけはどこから集まってくるのか、ものすごい混雑！本当に不思議です。
• Ryan (8/5): Quite large room homestay with tv - I need an escape from hostel life with a bed of my own. I was able to veg out for a day and catch up on the world news with the in room tv. The bed was a little firm for my liking but in total had a good night.

But they are kind and friendly, the shower was one of the best I had in Cambodia or Thailand, and the room has fridge and aircon. Really good value at roughly £5 each a night. Steep stairs though! Really convenient for old city temples and such like, being just inside the old city. And Mild, the cafe next door is a real find for breakfast and other meals.

• Ian (4/5): Cheap is cheap. - A lovely old lady who owns it .. A comfy bed and a nice breakfast provided although the the grout between tiles in bathroom was covered in mould. The maids idea of daily housekeeping was change the towels but not the bed linen. Oh, and the noise from the local roosters from 5am... Hmmm .

• Stanley (10/5): Cosy Place to Stay - Stayed 5 nights at Sripoom House 1. It is worth every dollar spent. Comfortable bed, clean room, good wifi, good hospitality and service. Khun Nee has been friendly, helpful and accommodates to our every requests. It comes with a simple breakfast to start the day and this is a plus. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay at Sripoom House 1 again.
• Verified traveler (6/5): A very convenient location in the old city. - Near to good restaurants, shops and a few nice restaurant/bars. A good walking location if you want to see all the temples. Old teak furniture, which was nice. The room was air and light as it was on the third floor. Rooftop views over the city from the balcony and windows. The only slight problem was that there was no safe, but you could leave valuables with the owner. The bathroom was a bit smelly from the waste pipe. I remedied this by putting a plastic bag over it and overturning the small plastic waste bin. Overall good value for money and would stay here again.
