• Cress (4/5): Only book if last resort - The breakfast was decent and opened on time. Checkout was great as they put your receipt in the door crack and just had to turn in your keys at the front desk. The pool was not in use, under maintenance. The first room had holes in the shower and also someone had made a big smiley face just to the left of the holes. The curtain chain broke as well. Our keys did not work for the second night and had to get the front desk to correct. Ladybugs as well In the room and the screens. For breakfast they didn't have individual servings of milk but a gallon of fat free milk.

• Nancy (10/5): This hotel was really nice, exceptionally budget friendly, and we received excellent customer service. The entire hotel - The main areas, breakfast area and our room were all very clean. The hotel smelled really nice - that was my first impression as soon as we walked in to check in. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, courteous and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We arrived to breakfast about 40 minutes before the end and the food had not been replenished. They were out of waffle batter, sausage gravy and peanut butter for English muffins. This was literally the only problem we had. And we also didn’t seek anyone out to see if they had refills. We would definitely stay there again if the occasion arose.

We experienced staff walking into our room uninvited and then the staff saying that since he was working that it was acceptable. We also had an issue with our door not latching fully without slamming it to get it closed. The deadbolt would not work. Stay at this location at your own risk. Make the 35 mile drive to stay in another city.

• JenniferSchaller (6/5): Disappointed this time - We chose this hotel over the much more affordable Super 8 because it listed a hot tub and fitness room, as well as hot breakfast. Imagine our disappointment when the hot tub was closed and the fitness room was three cardio machines in a dimly lit room full of air conditioner boxes! Also, the elevator was broken so we got to listen to relentless beeping every 60 seconds for the entire stay since our room was two doors down from the elevator. On a positive note, the room was clean and comfortable and the employee was friendly. Knowing all that, however, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere this time around. We did appreciate that the hot breakfast had eggs and sausage along with the other standard breakfast items. Perhaps we just happened to hit a bad day, but if you're looking to stay specifically where there is a hot tub and fitness room I recommend calling ahead before you book!

• Sierra (6/5): - Options are slim in this area and the prices are low, so I can’t complain too much. It was in the 90s this weekend and there seems to be no AC in the main building, only the rooms. Our AC was also not on when we got there, so we’re going into a stuffy 90+ degree room after traveling. It was also not the cleanest ( the eye-level shelf where I was about to set my stuff out of the way was covered in dust. The beds were not very comfy, and you could hear the springs crying as you sat down lol. It was a place to rest our head and it served its purpose. Nothing egregious, but leaves a lot to be desired.

Breakfast was minimal…coffee ok. Cold cereal, instant oatmeal, and prepackaged muffins that were dry. Fridge and microwave in the room a plus. Pillows were square and really thick making them hard to sleep on. Pet friendly was a plus.

It didn’t lock completely. The extra door lock locked so we weren’t too worried. We would definitely stay there again, but just make sure our rooms deadbolt locked all the way.

• Jana (6/5): Adequate and comfortable night stay - Adequate for an evening stay. Room was well furnished with comfortabke bedding. Only dining option in walking distance was a DQ. Breakfast bar was not well attended. Ran out of coffee and bread, no pastry items or gravy. Elevator did not work but luckily there was a room on the first floor.

• johntD2361GT (6/5): Hotel in Jackson - We stayed here one night. The room was clean and decently appointed. However, I did not consider this property a particularly good value for what I paid. The pool was shut down during our visit, which did not help. Also, the front desk was not staff either when we checked in or checked out, which was not particularly welcoming and does not make a lot of sense.

But the next morning, I realized I forgot a hat in my room so I went back inside to get help. The guy at the counter (who wasn’t even at the counter, had to use the phone) yelled at me after I kindly told him that the keycard he gave me didn’t work. “This is on you, not me!” he said.

• Maria (2/5): Pool closed not notified in advance, no adjustment - The pool was closed for maintenance and I would have canceled had I known that ahead of time! I was traveling with my kids and four grand daughters and they wear in tears. When I asked for some kind of explanation or adjustment none was offered and I was told they could t do anything because I booked through a third party. I had laid up front and regret that now. This is a town I grew up in. So angry and disappointed. Soemthing should have been done. It was an expensive stay with only half the services!

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We would stay there again as a stopping point on our way to Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
