• Janet (3/5): Would not recommend. - Location. That's all. Very basic, the environment felt more like a hostel. Parking is NOT included in room rate even though photos show a car park. I raised this issue by phone but talking to "Oscar" was like talking to a brick wall. No apologies just £15/night for parking, but if I paid cash it could be £10/night. Felt very dodgy, so parked in town for £11/night which felt safer! Would not recommend.

• Rampley (5/5): The room was acceptable for a one night stay. - Location good. Hotel was very quiet. Pleasant greeting on arrival. Paying for parking which should be included in the cost. The bed was not comfortable the pillows were wafer thin. The bathroom was rather cramped
• Gareth (3/5): - Bed was clean and comfortable Some residents in a near room were clearly residents. Coughed and had their TV on until 2am. Room smelled of moisture. Some sort of air freshener would have been a help.
• Tiziana (6/5): Details matter - Very clean, large and spacious room. The toilet roll provided was a half roll and a full small roll that wasn't enough for 3 people. The room could accommodate 5 people but despite been advised that the guests would be 3, only 2 mugs and glasses were provided for hot drinks in the room. Same with hangers. Little details let the accommodation down.
• Faye (7/5): - Very helpful staff, clean sheets in the room. Nice sized family room.. Good location for local attractions. The manager ery kindly agreed for us to keep our car on site after checking out while we attended an event, which was really convenient. Needs updating.No breakfast.

• K Singh (4/5): - Our room was on the 1st floor and we had to go upstairs, the bathroom was stenchy smelling badly of damp and mould with mould on the blind in the bathroom and toilet leaked. I had 3 children and luggage it wasnt suitable as the people next room were smoking in the room which was really bad. As a pregnant woman with young kids being in the room was not good and we asked if we could move to another room too but he said all rooms were full.

• Annette (7/5): Convenient and decent for a quick family stopover in Windsor. - The New Oscar Hotel in Windsor was comfortable enough for a one-night stay, though nothing to rave about. The room was clean and met basic needs, but it’s fairly simple accommodation. The best part was the great location — just a short stroll to the main village and surrounded by some excellent local pubs.

• Holly (3/5): See above! - Location Nothing very old and dated not clean because we checked in late in the evening we didn’t get to room till 9.45pm so were unable to complain or ask to be moved knowing that they were full we knew no point with 3 tired children nothing we can do. The bathroom was dirty and smelt stale due to the mouldy blind in bathroom , shower was dirty had to rinse before use the house was broken so sprayed in all sorts of directions and unless u wanted to be burnt alive u had to have hot and cold taps on to make shower work and that was at a warm temp. Tv remote not working no instructions to work tv. Fridge was a beer Fridge no room for anything and no very cold. One pillow per person and they’re are all flat we all had to use jumpers underneath pillow to boost them up! Floor was unclean kept out socks on! And just generally tired and smelly. Such a shame as we came to London my sons birthday weekend and yes you get what you pay for but still expect a level of working and clean too!

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Close to Legoland and short walk to Windsor town centre. The room was spacious, shower nice and powerful with a bath for my little boy who hates showers. The hosts very friendly. Car was safe in the carpark at the back for entire stay. Would definitely recommend and use again.

• Mark (3/5): Disappointing and very shabby. - Reasonable location for Windsor town and parking available (but extra cost). Good TV and comfortable bed with clean linen. Very run down, bathroom with mouldy tiles, shower head holder not working and kept falling out. Generally, very poor.

Bedding very fresh and beds very comfortable. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Whole place is a little dated, but that doesn't take away from the great stay that we had. Had to pay £15 to park which is a high price to pay but it is what it is.

• Narelle (9/5): Great stay! - Amazing carparking! Despite a 15GBP carpark fee, it was well worth it! Great bedding configuration for 3 people. Staff were very helpful. Location was awesome for walking into Windsor and Windsor Castle. 24hr Reception access made life very easy. Shower was a little temperamental but worked well once we figured it out. Could do with some hooks on wall in bathroom to hang clothes while showering.

The gentleman on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Great to have a family room that slept 5!! Bed sheets were clean and fresh. Room decent size. Very basic rooms. Not many facilities. Basic tea and coffee. Struggled to plug in the kettle. Decor very dated. Noisy neighbours coming in and out late at night. One man was smoking from his bedroom window which the smell carried through. No one in front desk until 9am. Bathroom was clean but in desperate need of maintenance and updating. Parking was an extra £15 for one night. This was not really advertised. No breakfast facilities , basic microwave in the hallway entrance.

Would seriously consider not using them again - Your booking .com website said this hotel did continental breakfast, but when we arrived at the hotel they said they do not do breakfasts and have been asking you for ages to remove this. So you completely missold us this hotel and we could have booked a much cheaper one that did not do breakfasts if that had been what we wanted. The room was very cold, but eventually the manager managed to get the heating to come on for us
