• Sheila (10/5): Highly recommend - The cottage was spacious and clean. Plenty of towels and nicely equipped kitchen and outdoor grill area. We had a problem with the front door lock and the cottage manager came right over and replaced the lock at 9 pm. Great service. Nothing to complain about.
• Genevieve (6/5): Weekend in Cavendish - The cottage was roomier than I expected. It was very clean. Very quiet to sleep at night. My daughter liked the pool. We were close to a beautiful beach. The toaster was broken as were some of the hobs on the stove. À screw was loose on one bed.

The location cannot be beat, it's so calming and beautiful. I cannot say enough about the pool! We also loved the amount of wildlife that ran through! Foxes, rabbits, many different birds! Wifi connection was poor for both cottages we had. one cottage's television did not work (only the kids were upset lol). unfortunately the fire pit at our end was roped off on our second night through to our last night, so we were unable to have a bonfire but again, only the kids were upset. We didn't see that you had to request sheets for the pull outs until we were leaving (our fault).

• Kevin (9/5): Other then the bed it was a great place. - The small cabin #48 was all by itself very quiet and privet. The decor was dated but clean and functional. The appliances where clean and new. The Bed was rock hard we could not be slept on at all. We where lucky that there was a day bed and couch that we could sleep on.

• Tammy (5/5): - The pool was deep The distance to main drag in cavendiah Easy drive up BBQ and basic kitchen equipment provided. Our toilet was leaking and water was seeping up from the bathroom floor, so obviously not a new problem. When I advised the staff I saw driving the golf carts they didnt seem to care (or be surprised) we had to find something to catch the water, and put towels down ourself. no one from the cottage even came by. For the price we paid for a less than 24hour say, I would not return. The beds were both uncomfortable and the pillows sucked. Check in not until. 4:30 but check out at 10am for a one night booking , maybe that's standard, I don't know =overpriced

• Bonnie (8/5): - Good location, spacious cottage, very clean, lots of TV channels, comfortable sofa and chairs. Comfortable beds. Washer and dryer in the cottage, which was a bonus. I have some mobility issues so climbing stairs to get into the cottage was difficult. Having a bread knife and a chef knife in the kitchen would have been great as we did cooking while we were there. Also the hinge on the refrigerator door needs to be changed to the other side. It was awkward trying to use it.

• Glenda (10/5): Fun for Everyone - My family truly enjoyed their stay. The cottages are always clean and stocked with dishes/utensils linens and private deck with BBQ. The pool was my grandson’s favourite. Met a lot of great people by sharing my grandson’s 10th birthday cake with all the guests. Close to all the great beaches. Lots of kid friendly places. If you’re a night owl!! You can see the”Milky Way” from your deck.

• Lee (6/5): The stay was OK - We had a great stay at Hidden Acres Cottage! The best part was its location — it was very close to Cavendish, which made it super convenient for exploring the area. The cottage had two bedrooms: one with a queen and a single bed, and the other with a queen bed. It was spacious and comfortable for our group. There was an outdoor deck with benches, and we were able to use the BBQ, which was a nice bonus. The kitchen and dining area were also large and easy to use, making meals very convenient. However, there were a few downsides. We only stayed for one night, and with a 4:30 PM check-in and a 10:00 AM check-out, the time felt too short — especially considering the price. Also, while this is a personal preference, the interior design wasn’t great: the blankets and curtains had dark, busy patterns that made the space feel a bit dated, and the sofa was quite old and uncomfortable. That said, the rooms were generally clean.

Clean unheated pool was refreshing; laundry facilities were a welcome surprise. Double room even had its own bathroom with a corner shower. No ice on property - one tray of ice provided. Firepits in common area anyone can use. Very nice but a bit pricey.
• Stephanie (8/5): Very satisfied with my choice. - It was a great location. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, very close to the beach, close to other amenities too for sightseeing. The beds were extremely comfortable. I don’t know about the pillows because I brought my own. There was a gas grill which looked to be clean, a picnic table, chairs all on a nice size deck. The pool was nice. We didn’t use it because it was a bad weather the first two days and we were gone on that last day. Nice place if you have little kids. The only really complaint is the couch is in abysmal shape. Extremely uncomfortable to sit on which luckily we didn’t do too much because we were out a lot. While you’re sitting, you felt like you were sliding off of it, and you were sitting on the frame!
