Guest Reviews
- Igor (10/5): - Clean, quiet, close to RMNP. Easy staff communications.
- Adam (10/5): - Very private can’t wait to go back!
- Andrea (10/5): - Close to national park, grocery store and food. It is a rustic cabin but it suits what you need.
Pet friendly which is a bonus.
- Jodi (10/5): - Great scenery and close to everything we were interested in doing.
- John (10/5): - I thought the cabins were cute and liked being away from the other guests. And the stream nearby was nice.
- Michael (10/5): - Nice staff
- Rose (10/5): - Cabins are old but quaint. They have character! Very clean, the staff friendly and thoughtful, our room wasn't ready until after 5, it was raining so we had to wait in the car, they gave a complimentary bottle of wine and mini golf tickets. If you want a fun small cabin near a river without fancy dancy features this is for you. It's close to town and RMNP.
- Bonnie (8/5): Overall nice cabin. - The cabin was cute , very clean and well stocked. The heat worked great and kept us warm and comfortable during the night. However, the bathroom was small and the shower was very awkward. Really only room for one person to sit at the table unless you move it out blocking the back door.
- John (10/5): - Beautiful spot,
- Carl (4/5): - For the cost, the cabin was horrible. Extremely small. The bathroom was smaller than an inside cabin bathroom on a cruise ship. No decor in cabin. No where to store clothes. No dresser and 3 hangers. No service for clean towels, more coffee etc. I would NEVER stay here again. There are so many places, choose somewhere else.
- John (10/5): - River and wildlife
- Heather (4/5): - While the hotel was unique I had a terrible stay. There were bees continously flying around the room; I brought this to their attention at least twice they removed the first bee but others came. I was sent a message that "educated me about how bees are in this environment, they are docile among others". They essentially told me to live with it. No other accomdations made. Communication poor overall.
- Joseph (10/5): Wonderful experience, Clogged fireplace was not. - This was a great experience, I did however plan a mountain cabin with a romantic fireplace in a winter snow, we got the winter snow and loved the cosy little cabin but the fire place was clogged, no mater what we tried the cabin filled with smoke, I read remarks from other visitors in a dairy, this cabin seems this is a regular problem. I love the cabin and the location plus the property manager was terrific. I honestly wanted the fireplace with my wife on a honeymoon we finally treated ourselves to and since the fireplace was important to this trip,I give our experience a 4 out of 10.
I will not recommend this cabin if a fireplace is important.
If it is not important than I give the the whole experience a 10 positive.
I will not come back to this cabin unless the problem is resolved. A fireplace is why I go to a mountain cabin. Please fix the fireplace if possible. We absolutely loved all the other experiences.
I have to give the experience a 4 because we went for the fireplace.
Thank you for everything else.
- Gino (10/5): - Great little cabins w all the basics stove refrigerator sink hot water nice bathroom fireplace microwave great views good location
- Barry (8/5): - The kitchenette was impressively well equipped, unlike the cabin down the road where I stayed the previous two nights. At that other property, you could prepare a can of beans for yourself--so long as you brought your own can opener. Tiny Town had it all: a proper coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full-size refrigerator, ample crockery and cutlery, baking pans, a casserole dish, a cutting board, a real kitchen knife, a bread knife, kitchen shears, a pitcher, cooking spoons, a whisk, spatulas, mixing bowls, corkscrew, assorted dish and washing towels, two rolls of paper towels, pot holders, a dish drying rack, can opener (!)... some other items that I don't recall now, and cabinets for storage. So, if you do want to self-cater, you can well do it here. Other places might provide you scarcely more than a few plates and forks (like the place down the road). Tip: for prep space, move the dish rack to below the sink and ask for a second, large cutting board that you can put in its place. Otherwise, you will be going back and forth to the table in the sun room, or the picnic table outside. I also used the cutting board that was provided on the corner of the sink. That was stable as a staging area for items.
And for the winter, a fireplace.
The staff were cheerful and extremely helpful. The property also provided useful information regarding the Estes Park area. In the future I shall avoid the self check-in arrangements of other places that appear to be run by ghosts.
- Lyla (10/5): - It was very rustic. I enjoyed my stay
- Linda (10/5): Awesome getaway - Nice getaway place!
- Mary Alice (8/5): Cozy cabin - It was a cute cozy small cabin. Could have used some cleaning such as the floors and curtains and some spider webs. The staff was attentive. I would recommend they provide free firewood for at least one night to use the beautiful fireplace. I would stay there again. Would also be great if the office area could be lite at night in order to see where it’s located.
- Kristine (10/5): - We loved the little house feel. The grounds were a little cluttered - maybe could be "hidden" better, but that did not impact our stay at all. We really liked the place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the river views and the elk that would pass thorough. Very quiet location with great views and everything you need for a mountain getaway while still close enough to downtown Estes Park to enjoy the local shopping.
- Jeff (10/5): - Perfect location and cute little cabins with everything you need.
- Marty (10/5): - What a great stay! Came to Estes Park on a random trip from Alabama and what a great time we had. The cabins offer a unique, comfortable place to stay and if (when) we come back we will stay here again.
- Cindi (6/5): - We were really looking forward to this stay but ended up being a bit disappointed. There is nothing wrong with these cabins that a little extra care wouldn’t fix. And it may just be that we got a lemon for a cabin(#16). We did not have a grill so we had to go in search of one from a vacant cabin. And our grill stand was facing a series of huge mud puddles in the road, the picnic table was on the opposite side of the cabin and the chairs were on the side. So no sense of arrangement for gathering for a meal or a place to have a drink or anything. We also noticed that while the other cabins seemed to be prepped for guests with welcoming lights strung around the exterior of the cabin, ours didn’t come on until the middle of the night. The interior is super cute! Bed was comfy but a big hole in the top sheet. Bathroom was fine, but a little sour smell or maybe cat pee? In any case, had we paid less for our stay I wouldn’t complain. But for $200+ I would have liked coffee for more than one day and I wouldn’t expect to be threatened with a $50 fine if we left a dish unwashed. (Actually sort of creepy that the person who stayed there before us was responsible for the cleanliness of the dishes we used!) so maybe some road maintenance and some TLC are in order? Also please check the door closer on 16’s front door. It takes two hands to close the door fully. Thanks!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Needs a bathtub not just a shower everything else was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a cute little property! We stayed in cabin #1 and it was so cute and cozy. We had a blast - no complaints at all. 10/10 would stay again.
- Toni (10/5): Thumbs up - I thought the bed was a queen but it turned out to be a double. Other than that, all was well. A/C was unnecessary as the temps dipped into the 50s at night. Access to RMNP was easy, as was access to our room. No elevator needed. The kitchenette was small but useful. Everything we needed was provided. We had a cozy stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. Good privacy and space between each cabin. A lovely experience.
- Nikki (10/5): - Cute cabin in Estes Park. The cabins are rustic and located right off the river. It was a great getaway.
- Leslie (8/5): - The pictures depicted the property pretty well. I loved that it took less than two minutes to be walking by the stream from our cabin. The cabin was small but had everything we needed. The only low score I'd give is it smelled very musty. Even so, we will be going back!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute, Cozy Cabin - Perfect cozy, rustic cabin. Had everything the two of us needed for a relaxing weekend. Great in town location, very close to RMNP and close to down town Estes Park. Loved the visit by 12 (yes, TWELVE) Elk one evening in our back yard. Beautiful views.
- Mike (10/5): - Nice stay. We were there two nights. The cabin was well equipped so we were able to cook breakfast and one dinner. Easy access to the shuttle to the National Park.
- Bill (10/5): Mountain cabins -
Traditional and quaint mountain experience. Quiet and private. Property offers several activities.
- Sandra (6/5): Not Good - We booked 2 cabins and paid the same price for both. One cabin had a king bed the other had a full. We want king beds for both.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Shade - There are no comfortable seats outside of the units.also some shade to sit under would be nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our stay was quiet and comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): pleasant surprise! - Planned to stay at Tiny Town to get a rustic cabin experience while hiking in the park. Pulling in past a mini golf & trout pond added a fun "b movie" feel. The front desk said there was a mistake in my booking & I wasn't due in until the next night AND they where booked solid! After a long day of traveling this is the last thing I needed to hear. The staff huddled while I scrambled for my confirmation then said they would put me in a premium cabin called the "trout house"! The Trout House was a well kept & spacious 2 bedroom cabin with; full kitchen, porch, outdoor hot tub overlooking a babbling river and much much more. The staff at the hotel turned a nightmare situation into a very pleasant surprise & made my stay at Tiny Town a highlight of my trip! Thank you!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Tent camping would have been better - Whatever you do, don’t stay in Cabin 10. I was exposed to so much dust in 2 days that I was sick the rest of the week, went to the doctor yesterday & it’s turned into a sinus infection. There was chocolate on the quilt, the dishes were all dirty (one of the bowls looked like popcorn had recently been eaten in it), & there was a 6 inch clump of hair & dust bunnies on the floor when I opened the refrigerator. The floor turned our feet black, & I spent about an hour trying to wipe all the dust off of things, but it kept turning the paper towels black. The outside grill table initially leaned sideways, and there was a beer bottle by the door. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the cabin was significantly hotter on the inside than it was outside. However, when we opened the windows someone kept flying by on a golf cart on the dirt road right by the windows all day long. We’ve stayed at many places in Estes Park for the same price, and this was horrendous in comparison. We left 2 days early, & they were nice & offered us our deposit back without having to ask or a different cabin. I thought that was nice, except when I told them how my debit I’d paid with months earlier had been stolen they turned it into a huge ordeal to get my money back in my account rather than just taking my word for it because of their “policy.” I paid for the rest of the nights in CASH so this should have been a non-issue, but I had two different people at my bank calling for 2 days before it got refunded.
- Courtney (10/5): Great tiny cabins! - Great little cabins far enough away from downtown to be quite but close enough to get to quickly. Cabin was clean and cute. Had everything as described (no a/c but that was expected just mentioning for those reading the reviews but not carefully reading the description). It did have a nice fan so with windows opened the temp was perfect! Great experience! Would come back again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cute little cabins. Good location close to everything and on the river. Friendly staff.
Some more trees around the cabins would be nice for shade. Not much shade around most cabins and can get quite hot during warm days.
- John (10/5): Rustic Cabins - Amazing Location - Perfect, rustic cabins along a beautiful river. We saw elk grazing not more than a block down the road. Next door to a liquor store, restaurants, and grocery store (you can get to with a path by the river). You can walk 1.2 miles to downtown and it is a very short (under 5 mins) drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. We had views of a river and snow capped mountains from our cabin. There were cute little ground squirrels all over. This isn't a glamorous place but if you want a cute, cozy, rustic place this checks all the boxes. Surprisingly we had cable and great WiFi too.
- M (10/5): Wonderful experience - This has been one of the most comfortable, clean and quiet cabins I've ever stayed in. No infestations of any kind. The views are to die for. Wildlife too.
- Edward (10/5): Lovely little cabin - We stayed here as a couple for 6 nights and loved every minute of it. From the elk walking straight past our porch on the first night to having to light the fire early morning to warm up! Staff were very helpful and even have us a ride into town one day when it was raining as my girlfriend had a ankle cast so getting around was tough as we didn't have a vehicle. Room (cabin 4) had everything we needed and enjoyed cooking our breakfasts and a few meals there too. Would recommend staying here and hope to come back some day.
- Glenda (10/5): Charming place to stay - These tiny cabins were amazing. Loved staying there and definitely will return.
- Zachary (10/5): - Was an amazing place for a get away for a couple. Lots of things to do in town. Only complaint was the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The cabins are amazing would recommend to friends and family.
- Verified traveler (10/5): cabin - Nice cabin! Close to everything! Very nice cabin! Nice staff!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cozy - The perfect location, center of all the attractions
- Mike (10/5): Amazing cozy stay! - Cute, cozy, clean and by far the best place for a couple looking for relaxation. Great service! Called when the cabin was ready for early check in and also gave us free firewood. Exactly what we were looking for for our mountain retreat.
- paul (10/5): Tiny Cabins Giant Fun - It was perfect. the cabin is centrally located between all of the shops and the National Park. It was the best location to get to everything quickly. The river runs through the property and it was beautiful.
- Jamie (8/5): Estes Park Getaway - Great location with everything provided so all we needed was to pack a few clothes and go.
- filogonio (10/5): Love it - It was amazing thank you enjoy ever moment
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing views and wildlife was everywhere this place made my experience at the rocky s amazing
- Michael (8/5): Great little cabin out of the bustle - Very clean well equipped cabin all dishes and utensils spotless and well organized full size refrigerator 4 burner stove microwave, toaster, coffee pot. A good bed and a fireplace supplied with wood. Would have liked an additional floor lamp and a better couch but still a good stay.
- Laura (10/5): - Our stay was awesome! It was hot outside so I would have liked to have a fan in out cabin but overall very nice!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and our cabin was very clean. - We loved the Estes park area and the cabin was in a perfect location. The rooms were very clean and the grounds were well kept.
- heather (10/5): Like staying in a fariytail.... - As a single mom I like the idea of cabins, we are safe from wildlife yet still in nature. I love to be able to cook our meals, I save enough for another trip ;) The location of the cabin was ideal. Within minutes of downtown Estse Park. We could see the gondolas from the back patio and loved that.
- Kevin (10/5): Better than I expected!! Great even! - I was actually pleasantly surprised by this place. I figured that they would be run down little cabins. But these were actually very nice. The staff was very attentive. Anything that I needed within reason they would grab it for me immediately. There was a bear sneaking around one of our cabins. It's not scary at all it's Estes Park. But it just added to the experience. Myself and my 11 year old son were on a road trip through the mountains. And we were very happy. It's also like a 5 minute drive from the entrance to the park. I didn't really look but this may be the closest place to the entrance.
- Ron (10/5): - Very pleasant stay,
