- william (10/5): Wonderful - What a great find this lovely hotel was, I don’t think we could have been any more comfortable anywhere else in Paris. The reception staff were always cheery and helpful, the rooms well laid out and had everything we needed. Cleaning staff diligent and the hotel felt Parisian. Plenty of bars, restaurant, shops and bakeries minutes away and close to a few metro stations and the RER. Very nice area as well. We’ll definetly stay there again.

Especially Madison in font desk is very helpful giving us detailed directions for our destinies. The only disadvantage is that it is difficult to park in front of the hotel because the street is very narrow.

There was a heavy police presence when we were walking back one night, not sure if this is normal for the neighborhood or if it was due to the Olympic activities. There is no vent in the bathroom and the room can become a little stuffy. However, this issue is minor. The breakfast was good and plentiful. - Miguel (10/5): An Ideal Place To Stay - The Best Western Sydney Opera Hotel in Paris is a very nice place to stay for multiple reasons. First and foremost, the staff there was very friendly and efficient, from the front desk to the server at breakfast, as well as the cleaning staff. Secondly, the hotel was very clean, not only the rooms but also the lobby area. Although some of the rooms are not large (by our American standards), they are functional. (We stayed in a regular room at the beginning of our trip and a much larger (deluxe) room on our return at the end of our trip.) The A/C worked very well in the rooms as well as in the lobby and dining area, and this was especially appreciated during the hottest day in Paris this summer. Thirdly, the location of the hotel is ideal. It is walking distance to the Madeline church, to the Paris Opera, to the stores (Galleries Lafayette and Printemps), as well as to the Paris metro, Furthermore, there are several nice restaurants and bars near the hotel, as well as several small grocery shops, where you can get your water supply and any other things that you might want, Overall, the two stays at this hotel during this 2022 summer proved to be most pleasant experiences and my family and I look forward to staying there again when we visit Paris.

The neighbourhood is fantastic, lots of restaurants at all budget levels, shopping, pretty too. I would stay there again.

She took the time to explain and showed us the way to the elevator. The hotel also stored our luggage because we arrived before the check-in time. Our bags were taken to our room after the room was available. The room was clean and quiet, but occasionally we could hear the neighbor, though we suspect this is normal for most buildings in Paris. Public transportation and restaurants were close to the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

- steven (10/5): Every Stay is a Homecoming - This was our third stay at this wonderful hotel, and we could not imagine visiting Paris and staying anywhere else. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and well laid out with interesting artwork. The lobby and public areas are attractive and comfortable. The breakfasts offer a nice variety of delicious food; the chocolate croissants are heavenly. And the service is terrific, especially from Sabari, who goes out of his way to truly make us feel at home.

- EN (10/5): - The staff was super friendly, from reception desk to housekeeping to the lady who runs breakfast. Everyone greeted us with a smile, which was refreshing. The rooms are spotless! I am super discerning when it comes to cleanliness and the slightest indication that the room isn’t clean really bothers me, but the rooms were cleaned impeccably well. Our room was small but not out of the ordinary for Paris. The window faced a small courtyard and was really quiet. The hotel itself is really small as well, North Americans shouldn’t expect a true “Best Western” style hotel. Neighbourhood is pretty vibrant, close to Opera and Galeries Lafayette. Well connected to the Metro. All in all, this is my new go-to hotel in Paris! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. My previous go-to, that also happened to be a Best Western (but is no longer) is haunted so I was in the market for a new one! :)
- Diane (10/5): Fabulous Location and Beautiful Hotel - Our stay at the Best Western Sydney Opera was outstanding. We arrived about an hour before the "official" check in time but the room was ready and we checked-in. The room (304) was stunningly remodeled, very modern but the character of the old building was still evident in the old exposed ceiling beams and the shape of the room, sort of the zig zag up from sitting area to the room with the bed. Beautiful well appointed bathroom--all modern. There was a fridge for our use--stored picnic supplies and drinks purchased at a near by grocery. The breakfast was very good--extra 15 Euro/person--usual French breads, meat and cheese omelets, yogurt coffee, tea and juices. The location is about 3 blocks to 3 different Metro stops so we were able to explore the city easily. Also an easy walk down to the Sein through Place de La Concorde. When we are back in Paris for a short stay we will return. There is a small elevator which when hauling suitcases around is a God send.
- Charles (10/5): Very Personable Stay - The location was very good for safety, access to transportation, food, bars etc. The staff was excellent and very helpful in everything from directions, suggestions to visit, trains to take, quickest routes and arranging early am taxi. Breakfast was good and essential items covered. Room was perfect and possibly small for some but we found it perfect for us.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel in Paris - This was our fourth stay at the Hotel. The receptionist on duty could not be bothered to help in any way. We were given a room on the 5th floor but unfortunately the lift ended on 4th floor. Trying to get to large bags up a spiral staircase was not easy. The room was nothing like the description. We were booked for 5 nights. On two occasions when we returned after 4.00pm, after being out all day our room had not been made up. The receptionist told us we would have to leave and come back later. No personality at all. Could not help us with directions of all sort. I felt that the Hotel had changed owners and there were not a lot of people in the Hotel.

There is no elevator but they take your luggage up and down. The room was well equipped with excellent coffee and a great shower. Only complaint is the carpet and sofa needed cleaning.
- steven c (10/5): Bienvenue a Paris. - Sabari, the desk clerk, was warm and welcoming and helpful on a number of issues. The room was comfortable and clean. And the breakfasts were delicious - pancakes, a variety of croissants, muffins, special breads, eggs, granny smith apples and so much more. The location was perfect for the touring we had planned. We've stayed there before and we'll stay there again.

Rani was particularly helpful in making us settle down quickly. Rooms are a bit small but that didn’t affect us as we wanted to spenf time outdoors. Highly recommended

- Jim (10/5): - I routinely stay at this hotel when I come to Paris; I come about once a year. Its location is excellent for public transport and walking. The rooms are very clean, and the internet is quite good. The staff is friendly. Its a very reliable place with very high standards. I have never had the breakfast, but it looks quite good :)
- Jerry (10/5): Great to Stay! - Great stay there, very helpful and friendly front desk staffs. Even room is not big, but it's clean and comfort. We will choose the same for our next Paris trip. The only thing a bit concern is there is no conditioner in the bath.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The only downside was the quite inaccessible bathtub...no hand bars, no anti-skid surface on the bottom, and a small glass wall that raised the concern r/t falling...otherwise, the room was almost perfect. Might add more storage...perhaps drawers under the desk?? but otherwise, lovely.
- Manish (6/5): Awesome location... tiny tiny room - Awesome location. In the heart of the theater district, walking distance to the opera & major shopping. Also very close to metro stations. The rooms are very small though. I have stayed in many hotels in Paris and do realize the rooms are generally smaller than the US, but this hotel has especially small rooms. Barely enough to fit 2 people and 1 large suitcase. The bathroom was very tiny too. It's an old style hotel where you need to leave the key at the front desk and pick it up on the way in - very unusual in times when I mostly use my phone as the room key
- yL (10/5): Nice and quiet yet near shopping and tourist spots - At the fringe of a major shopping street, was accessible but quieter, and walking/ cycling distance to all the major museums, and in between 2 metro stations as well. Some restaurants around. Room and bed was very comfortable and clean, good space to put 1 luggage and a decent shower room with very good hot water and pressure. Staff were really really polite and helpful. Loved it! Chose it as it was 3 min walk to my office. Would have been perfect if there is a gym, but running around the area was fine too. Combined with great weather, completed my beautiful first experience in Paris. Thank you!
- Erin (10/5): - Sabari and Marco at the front desk are rock stars! They went above and beyond to make our stay super comfortable and helped with any assistance that we needed along the way, The rooms were great, with authentic Parisian appointments and even though we had a street-facing room, when the window was shut it was very quiet. There was a small issue with the bathroom fan that we were told would be fixed, but it wasn't while we were there. The only drawback was the bathroom would get a bit steamy. Other than that, everything was perfect! I would stay there again.
- Christine (10/5): Beautiful spacious room near the metro - The hotel was very intimate, and our room ( a junior suite) was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is close to two metro stops and many restaurants and shops. The hotel staff took good care of us with transportation question and advice, which made our trip comfortable and enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this hotel! Thank you Sydney Opera House staff for your amazing service
- Matt (10/5): Nice hotel, good location - First things first, hotel is in a great location and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough to help us. Room was a good size, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet also represents good value, when you compare it to local cafes, etc. If I had to pick a criticism, I'd say the sound proofing isn't too great. We could hear the road outside and people using the shower / flushing the toilet in the room next door. It wasn't too intrusive, but it was there. Not a major problem, but something to be aware of.
- rosenth (10/5): Nice Hotel at central location - The Hotel is in a calm side street very close to the station Gare St. Lazare. The rooms are small but have everything needed and are very modern. The breakfast buffet is very good and the staff has been extremely nice and helpful. We fully recommend this hotel for any stay in Paris!
