• Farid177 (8/5): Overall, my stay was pleasant and I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and amenities. - Upon my arrival on March 21, 2025 at 9:30pm, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. He was incredibly kind, helpful and made me feel at home, although I regret not catching his name. The shower had excellent water pressure, which I really enjoyed. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, perfect for a single traveler or a short stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing slippers in the room. The air conditioning was cool and reliable, ensuring a comfortable environment. The wifi was strong and fast, which made it easy for me to work online. I was only there for a night on a work trip. I would recommend the single room for people who are traveling alone and just need a place to stay for the night or a few days, t would be good enough. On the morning of my checkout, I encountered a different receptionist who did not seem as welcoming or friendly. This made it a bit challenging to engage in conversation. There was noise from outside, particularly from cars passing by on the highway. While the nighttime was quiet, there wasnt much to see in the area.

The towel a bit yellowish, and there're hairs on the bed. They do no provide shampoo, only soup, and it's squeeze type. not soup bar. Hope they can improve on these.
• Sunny (8/5): Good located with friendly staff. Worth for the price. - The hotel is located in a convenient place, and a walk distance of less than 5 min can reach a different restaurant. Even take Grab from KL central only need about 10min - 20 min and the fees is around RM15. Sound insulation can be improved.

Got HBO channel to watch good movies. - Easily access to water dispenser. - First time came in the room got smoking smell and after awhile the smell gone. But, then the room started to smell smoke again. Not sure the smell from where. - The sink was blocked. Hard for water to drain. -At night, can listen the building or room beside my room knocking/ chopping something. I'm not sure the sound came from where. It lasted quite awhile.

• Asra (7/5): Quaint and simple rooms but clean. Good for short stays and if you need accessibility. - Convenient location. There’s Starbucks nearby so I can get my coffee easily. Friendly vibes around the area and not so quiet so feel safe. Can hear anyone walking outside the corridor and opening the room doors. can get very loud.

• Sylvia (10/5): Relaxing and affordable room - Good area with wet food market, cafes, small shops as well as banks. However the rooms have no window and quite compact. There's drinking hot n cold water available 24 hours.
• Mabel (6/5): Great hotel but noisy room - In the past visits, we always enjoy staying at de Uptown SS2 hotel. However, in the recent visit, we realised there was a cafe (Image Cafe) started at the upper floor of neighbour unit. The cafe runs its disco music way past mid night and if not, we could hear karaoke going on in the unit. While we enjoy the good service and great room of de Uptown, we cannot be pulling our hair every night trying to sleep :(

• RINCY (6/5): Good location for dining - Room and toilet are generally small but clean. Not soundproofing , so a bit noisy as you can hear guest walking up or down the stairs and their conversation. Location is great, just opposite the local food centre. Many good restaurants nearby but definitely not a place for shopping.

• Wayland (8/5): Hotel in a suburban strip mall - I booked the Triple room listed as 20 m2 on hotels.com, but the room was actually only 17 m2. There's plenty to eat around the hotel. There's a strip of bars if you exit the hotel and turn left. There's a Starbucks behind the hotel. There's a 24 hour McDonald's across the park. Plenty of "massage" places as well. Look for places with neon signs of a foot.
