Robot employee forcing me out of my room for 6 hours to re-register for the same room <"it needs to be cleaned by housekeeping"> Sound idiotic? I preaid so was forced to comply with a management tool set from 1850. Sadly, the clerk saw no flaw in this madness, a sign of corporate training by non-hotel trainers. My first hint that Hampden inns were fading out

Robin (8/5): Overall, best hotel we stay in during our week long trip across the country. - Nice rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room temp was great. Happy to have purchased stamps and let us mail out postcards. Good breakfast. Good breakfast but needs non dairy and a hot vegan protein options for travelers than have dietary issues.
Tamsen (8/5): This will be the only place I stay in Cortez going forward. Overall it is the most pricey I would say, but worth every p - Everything was super clean, staff was friendly, everything was well stocked at breakfast. People above us were extremely loud, so much to the point it woke me in the middle of the night. I did like that there was an office number to message; I sent them a message regarding the stomping & screaming and they sent someone up to check it out.
Curt (9/5): Everything was exactly as it should be for an enjoyable stay. - Everything about the facility was excellent, the arrival greeting, the room cleanness, the breakfast. The only problem was the TV - I could not find the sports I wanted, no big deal bit figuring out the TV controls was a bit confusing. All in all it was excellent and we will definitely stay again when we pass this way.

Katharine (10/5): Great stop, great location! - The breakfast was excellent, the attendants on staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and updated (lots of plugs for charging etc) Not a fan of the barn door style bathroom doors.

Cubmore (4/5): Not a Good Night - The positives included a clean room and ample parking. Negatives were very thin doors, minimal breakfast “go-bag” items, and front desk staff. Woken up at 11:30pm to loud, yelling people and a crying child. This continued on and off for 1+ hours - not fault of hotel, but being on first floor near lobby, front desk should have done something. This was a Thursday night, so not sure what was going on in a small town that night? Needed a very early departure and grabbed 2 breakfast on the go bags that we didn’t open til an hour on road. A hard bagel, cream cheese, an apple, and a bottle of water?? Worst I’ve experienced at a Hampton Inn.

Really nice lady at check-in (didn’t catch her name) hotel itself is very clean and our room was great!! Nice and quiet and we actually slept in and almost missed breakfast! Breakfast was your typical Hampton fare but the breakfast lady was super nice and everything was nice and hot! Lots of restaurants close by and Mesa Verde is just minutes down the road!! Overall nice stay! Would recommend and we will stay again if we are in the area

Front desk and breakfast service was friendly. The laundry. Was convenient, but it took two rounds in the dryer to dry the clothes.

La piccola cucina nella camera è completamente accessoriata (frigo, fuochi, tostapane, lavastoviglie, macchina del caffè, ecc.). La pulizia è perfetta. Il parcheggio è gratuito. Il personale gentile e professionale. Una cosa deliziosa è il sacchetto "breakfast to go" che si può prendere gratuitamente alla reception prima di partire. La colazione è poco varia.

Trek00662754841 (2/5): Don’t expect the room you need or booked - Booked a two bed handicapped accessible room. When I checked in online it showed my room as hearing accessible. I messaged the hotel to confirm. I was told my room was wheelchair accessible. I’m traveling with my 81 year old mom in a wheelchair so the room we reserved was necessary. When I got to the hotel I was again told my room was wheelchair accessible. When I got to the room it was not. I returned to the desk and told the, I needed the room I reserved. They were both helpful and professional. I was upset and told them so .. I also apologized to them because they were doing their best and it wasn’t their fault. They told me they were overbooked so they had to change my room. They didn’t feel it was necessary to inform me in advance. They also said if I left and stayed somewhere else I would still be charged even though the room was useless to us. After a bit they found a one bed wheelchair accessible room. I said that would be great. They just had to have the manager approve the change. They called the manager and he said no. He said I could just check out and they would refund my money. I could not believe the lack of customer service. I left and got the room I needed in Durango for 125 dollars more. Will not be back .

The buffet was so clustered with folks that we could not access. I understand busy but no employee ever helped with coordinating everyone. tiffmgilmore (10/5): Clean and friendly! - We spent one night here and it was great. Indoor pool and hot tub, open until 10pm. Breakfast was great. Their website says it starts at 8, but it actually opens at 6am. My kids loved the waffle bar. I had a delicious omelet. The rooms were very clean. We would stay here again.
Lacey (10/5): - We had a one night stay and everything was clean and tidy. The shower curtain did cause a lot of water to leak onto the floor, regardless of how it was placed.

108katherynd (6/5): So-so experience - Very clean hotel. Good beds. But nothing special to account for the high price other than it is located near Mesa Verde National Park. Pet fee was high. Biggest problem was the breakfast. Insufficient number of tables and chairs. We stayed two days and the egg and sausage offerings were the same each day. On the second day, we ate at 9am, and had to wait 20 minutes for the person in charge of the breakfast to put out regular coffee. They also ran out of hot water and she never replaced the pot while we were there so we gave up.
