- Mandeep (9/5): -
- LnS97 (7/5): - Delicious breakfast included. Rooms are.older but everything was clean and price was great. Room was pretty warm and new mattresses or bedding would be good.
- Patel (10/5): -
- Lynn (1/5): Will not stay there again - Fairly close to the airport There was a kareoke bar right below us and we could hear everything! Very loudly. After the bar closed there was people walking talking closing doors all night in the halls
- Ryan Joseph (10/5): -
- Joy (7/5): The manager was very nice!! - Close to airport Little noisy from a band playing!
- Maher (2/5): -
- Raeann (7/5): - Very convenient. Good food in the restaurant. Room was cold. Spring in Manitoba, weather was nice during the day, started to snow overnight heat didn't kick in till we called the front desk.
- Debbie (8/5): - It was clean and comfortable. The dinning room wasn’t open in the evening.
- Jason (5/5): A day or 2 would be ok, but not a week - The price was good and it was close to my work Lots of vagrants, the restaurant closes early and when they have live bands it’s quite loud
- Amanda (10/5): - Everything was fine
- Karetak (8/5): - The key to my room, kinda like LOTR before we burnt. No sweat burning out from a binge. 10/9. I'd give it a solid 9. I felt safe, I am gonna be honest when I checked in, I asked the Uber if I was in the right place.
Do please know, I love Winnipeg, I was quite unfamiliar of your location.
But other than that, good, old fashioned.
- Allan (5/5): - I don't to Don't even know what to say
- Parneet (1/5): -
- Lusilawo (10/5): 10 - L'emplacement la tranquillité et l'ambiance de chaque soir
- Anirban85 (1/5): Horrible experience - Just the location was good Very bad service, rude staff, dirty rooms with food on the ground, dirt all over, even in bathroom exhausts, walls and even stains in coffee maker. Horrible experience. Had to check out and book another hotel due to the bad experience.
- Cherylee (5/5): Wish i stayed elsewhere because of the moise. - Location and breakfast was good. The bar has live music that played until almost 2 am. Way too much noise. Not relaxing at all.
- Denise (1/5): never again - nothing Dirty, mold in bathroom, broken window, room smell like cigarettes and other rooms had guests that yelled, drank and fought all night. WORSE hotel experience ever
- Rajdeep (9/5): -
- king (8/5): -
- Ashley (8/5): - I enjoyed the comfy rooms with the large TV set up and street view with a balcony. The free breakfast was a plus and the calm lounge area was a plus to the stay. The location is great close enough to polo park just a short bus ride cab or drive. I disliked the housekeeping, they can put in more effort. An update is needed for sure, but considering the price theres no complaints.
- Muhammad (10/5): - Breakfast setup is not impressive
Lady serving breakfast is not clearing things properly
- John (6/5): Generally acceptable, fix in room climate conditions - Good value, mostly ok! No in room temperature control- was very warm
- Arjun (1/5): I was not able to stay at the hotel because of the issues with the room. - Nothing I was not able to stay at the hotel because of the issues with the room. I had to book a different room in a different hotel as the hotel did not provide me any other accommodation. As it was last minute and i had to pay $676.30 for a new room in a different hotel. I would like to get a refund for that amount because of the hotel negligence it cost me extra money from my pocket to book another hotel. I can send the receipt for the hotel i stayed.
- Phillips (4/5): -
- joelle (1/5): - Unsafe location, unclean, not as advertised
- Louise (3/5): Won't stay again. - The woman behind the counter was very nice.
The towels were clean, the bed was comfortable. I have pictures of the bathroom, the tub was dirty looking, the kleenex dispenser wall cover was falling off the wall, there was no fan, the corners were filthy.
The walls were paper thin and the people next door were really loud, left their tv on all night long.
There was only 1 plastic cup for water and 1 cardboard cup (not packaged, just out in the open) for coffee, although there were two of us booked into the room, and you had to pay extra for another coffee pouch in your room.
It smelled of stale cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room.
The young guy behing the counter in the morning was kinda rude and more interested in his phone than answering questions.
Having security people in chairs at each end of the hallway was a little unnerving.
Felt uncomfortable leaving my car in the parking lot for the night.
- Cristina (10/5): Gostei muito. -
- Diane (1/5): - Clerk ++++++ helpful State of the hotel - kids scared
- Cristina (10/5): Gostei muito. -
- Rebecca (3/5): If you love a live band in your bedroom without warning, stay here! - Decent shower. Okay bed and pillows. The staff failed to tell us ahead of time that there would be a live band playing until 2am, and at check-in asked “Is that okay with you?”… when you have been in the car all day and have no other accommodation option, you have no choice other than it being okay! Some prior warning of how loud it would be would have been good.
They have a fitness centre comprising 3 pieces of equipment, only the treadmill actually works, and not all of the staff actually know the fitness centre exists. You need to walk to another building to access it.
- Valerie (8/5): I was visiting my friend and got to see places. - It’s convenient and near places. No pool to swim. Or hot tub.
- Eva (9/5): - Close to where I was going and staff was freindly
- Wood (10/5): -
- Froese (7/5): Good in a pinch, would stay again. - Breakfast was good. Cost was reasonable. First room was not cleaned (messed up bedding) second room had a dried stiff hand towel over the shower railing, with a really long black hair.
There was a concert or something that played very loud until 2:30ish AM
- Bowen (5/5): Cheap price but if you want higher quality of living environment - Location Cleaning is a huge issue, all kinds odour in room and heating is weak during winter.
- Richard (9/5): Depends on the night - Clean, small good parking and you don’t need to wear under pants to go to the lounge in the evening We did not win much money at the lounge and the lady beside us at the lounge smelled like she did not change her underpants in more than a week.
- Edwin (10/5): -
- Betty (8/5): - Comfortable room Old phones
- Genaro Victorio (6/5): Price not worth for the room. - None the price is expensive for the type of the room set up. Not worth the price.
- Peter (5/5): My confirmation deposit is not yet restored. -
- Katie (7/5): -
- Muhammad Azeem (1/5): Disaster trip - Worst experience
- Candice (1/5): -
- Allan (6/5): The staff two of them were very rude the rest very nice - Location no problem anyone outside
- Nicole (1/5): Don’t stay here!! - The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very old and outdated. We checked in and went to our room but it had a horrible smell so we asked for a new room. The next room didn’t smell but it looked like there was blood on the dresser. We decided to leave the hotel and get a refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
- Sumreen (10/5): -
- Aspasia (2/5): Smelly, uncomfortable and needing so many repairs. We definitely will not be returning. - Cheaper option, beds are ok. The smell is the first thing that hits you upon entering the room, almost smoky. The TV is confusing to work, the remote doesn’t change channels properly. The bathroom is dated, no soap provided, we used shampoo to wash our hands, the sink tap constantly leaks. The toilet seat has a yellowish tint with staining and deterioration. The decor is unappealing and the bedding is ugly and uncomfortable. The walls are thin so you can hear everything in the neighbouring rooms. There is no microwave and the fridge wasn’t cleaned out from the previous stay.
- Klassen (1/5): I and my companions were disgusted and shocked that such a place even exists. I want compensation. - The hotel was filthy, very old dingy, very strong smell of mold, the bath tub shower had black mold. This building should be condemned and torn down, the motel needed security guards because of noisy kind of clientele. I chose Travelodge because it was familiar. This was not Travelodge and the chain should be alerted to this travesty. I arrived at 2:00 am form overseas and needed a bed otherwise I would have found something else. The young man at the reception Vincent was unprofessional in manner and very unhelpful.
- Joy (5/5): -
- DebQ (8/5): - I liked that it was close to a few restaurants. There was an awesome burger shop, a melt place and a Tim's within a ten minute walk from the hotel. Well, I stayed for the weekend and was in a room at air shot of the bar, at the top of the stairs. So I heard the band, or karaoke that was going on. I now understand why the room was cheap.
- Lesack (1/5): Never again - Nothing. Wasn't as advertised. Stunk horrible in the lobby, had hidden fees. Was charged to my credit card and was not received an immediate return.
- MrWoodster (3/5): - Vlts were ok They put us in a room above the bar and a loud band playing music until 1:30 am.
The mattresses were stained ed. There was no swimming pool
- Julakanti (1/5): -
- Elvin (8/5): -
- Elvin (8/5): -
- Sonja (4/5): - The breakfast was good! Took 20 minutes to have the manager check the room, to get our deposit back. Was told that regular house keepers don't always show up on time.
- Dean (1/5): - The place is a dive.pot smoke all over the halls
I didn't stay there.
- Dustin (10/5): -
- Ahmed (3/5): -
- Sage (9/5): - Had to change room from hotel to motel part, my husband has issues walking. We took an outside room with 2 stairs to climb. They were very accommodating. Just charge $10 more which was ok. Had the breakfast about 715am, Monday in restaurant and could smell sewer , didn't know if they were having issues., it was on and off. Cold draft coming threw door. Was minus 24, Sunday nite. The blanket made much warmer, when you were under it.
- Oliver (8/5): - Very basic, older but itbwas clean and quiet and affordable. Id stay again
- Patel (8/5): -
- Rhonda (1/5): - My last 4 stays have not been good, nor will I be back. Stayed February 20th. I was so frustrated as phoned front desk to complain about a hotel quest that was inebriated, screaming, swearing, kicking at the hotel door as the people she was with got in a fight and threw her out of room. This started around midnight. 2 am I called front desk and asked them to do something, the gentleman replied "he'd work on it" Nothing was done all night long and she carried on screaming, swearing, kicking and banging on hotel door. No one from the hotel came to deal with this. When checking out I brought this to their attention once again was told those guests would be removed. Why weren't they removed through the night so other guests could actually get some sleep? No I won't be staying here again, nor would I recommend this run down hotel to anyone.
- Shulan (5/5): - 早餐 飯店並沒有提供吹風機
- Louise (5/5): -
- De saber (9/5): -
- Courage (7/5): -
- Angus (5/5): - Room was hot
- Shawn (1/5): Run down seedy motel - The property has 2 buildings. We were directed to the one across the street which is not in the picture. Its looks like a run down seedy motel. We tried to be optimistic. Its was only for one night to get a few hours rest. We opened the door turned around and walked out. The room was completely tossed. The mattress was leaning against the wall. The frame was broke, it smelled funny. The walls were dirty. The host didn't even hesitate to give us back our money. All of it
- Oliver (8/5): Good. - Location. Needed more towels as there was 4 adults reserved.
- Don (5/5): Location and price were great but I’m unlikely to return - Breakfast was good
Location was great Wifi was spotty and not dependable
Tv didn’t work
Hallways were littered and scattered with bags of garbage and dirty laundry
- Jean-Louis (10/5): - Central and easy to get around everything!!
- Jean-Louis (9/5): Awesome!!!!! - Nice comfortable room, great breakfast and the bed werre superb and clean. The stairs outside the motel, but was doable for my wife.
- Marianne (4/5): - The floor carpet stinks
- Luke (7/5): Good -
- Alex (9/5): -
- Jim (6/5): - Short drive to the airport The mattress
- Bobby (6/5): -
- Jason (10/5): Nice place, clean, good value. Will stay again. - Value for cost. Convenient. Breakfast should be easier. Just bite the big one and figure out some kinda buffet, self serve.
- Leah (10/5): - Fantastic value, great breakfast!! Very friendly staff.
- David (8/5): Decent price, basic room. It’s a place to sleep - Prices wasn’t too bad, close to park and zoo Hotel side of it was pretty good, but two or three times, the room key card stopped working. Can easily get it swapped out. That means walking across the street to the front desk in the main building (which sucks when you’re in pyjama and it’s winter) but not the end of the world. There’s a free breakfast included at the restaurant. That’s nice. But what’s annoying is the voucher says free “sunrise breakfast” or something (has some catchy name, sunrise is just going off memory, might be something else) and when you look for that on the menu, it says one thing, but when you go to order, they say, no, for the voucher it’s something else. If that’s the case, the voucher shouldn’t say free “sunrise breakfast” or whatever it was called. Also, we probably waited like 20-40 minutes just for the server to TAKE the order, let alone wait for it to be made. I’m glad we weren’t in a rush. I think she was new, but dang

- Frederic (5/5): Budget hotel with clean rooms and good dining, 15 min from downtown - Room 52 which I stayed in, was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, a new and empty, bar-style fridge for client use, and a decent monitor tv. The owner told me they had just replaced the bed with a new mattress and linens - it certainly smelled clean and fresh - it was very comfortable. A coffee machine was supplied plus two free bottles of water. The room was on the second floor of a separate concrete building across the street from the lobby, with a balcony facing a large, treed rear parking lot - it was very quiet. The free wifi worked perfectly.
A free hearty breakfast was included, with a toast, bacon, eggs and in my case tea. EDIT to Add on Nov 20/25- In addition to the reasonable room charge paid in advance, they added a $250 DEPOSIT! Despite assuring me it was a "hold", the hotel charged it to my CC. It took 28 DAYS to receive a refund on my card!
I asked for a non-smoking room. Although it was clean and odour-free, the central air system was not. When it automatically switched on, the odour of cigarette smoke blew into the room. The windows opened, assuring fresh air for the night. The central air system could not be switched off.
The lobby, located across the street in a different building, had an unpleasant, heavy odour of cigarette smoke. The dining room, fortunately was clean and odour-free. The hotel does NOT have a dolly to move luggage. It wouldn't have mattered, as there was no elevator in the building to my second-floor room. I had to carry my heavy luggage up the narrow staircase.
- Nyambura (5/5): Not the best value for money. - breakfast, staff and location. small room, AC/fan is out of service.
- Christina (8/5): Comfortable - Price great breakfast good Room too hot. Staff found a fan open windows. Not enough plugs
