• Laura Amanda (6/5): - Was very clean did smell like Lysol, but it also smelled a little bit of sewer by the restaurant And there is no coffee at the Continental breakfast so either bring your instant packets. They do have hot water. Overall, a great location if you are planning on doing the Havasu hike And everyone is very friendly

You could literally buy almost everything you need for the hike supply wise from the store. Room was fine. Nothing notable other than the shower was touchy .

Older place stuck on route 66, nice dolks, mini museum. Note there is a breakfast place in Motel and a restaurant a quarter mile behind motel at the cavern that was open. They open early for breakfast

Room is basic, very comfortable bed, good heater, clean and safe. ck in was a bit of a challenge as the desk guy couldn't confirm my reservation, thought that I was going to Supai but figured it out. The gal at ck out was very friendly and helpful, shared a lot about the place. I would stay again.

• CHAD (10/5): - This is a basic motel. Great spot to pick up permit to hike Havasupi and grab a rest before the drive into the canyon. Also the cheapest place I have stayed at in years.

• Liene (8/5): Ideal for Havasupai trip! - Perfect place to start your trip to Havasupai Falls. Breakfast served early to get your early start, restaurant nearby for last big meal before the hike! We were sad to see the elevator to the cavern was not working, but sounds like full tours will resume in 2025!

• Adam (2/5): - The Wifi was not working so I went to the front desk to ask about it and she said that’s the way it is. She said she’s used to it. I guess when the hotel tells you they have wifi in the room that’s what I expect. I guess you don’t get what you pay for at this place.
• Amy (6/5): - Grand Canyon Caverns Inn was fine for our stay the night before our hike to Havasupai, but that is the only reason I would stay there. It is a very dated motel with limited hot water (but very high water pressure), no batteries in the smoke detector, and very limited options in the cafe. They said they had WIFI, but we could never get connected long enough for it to work. We drove into town to eat after checking out the cafe and had a great meal at Lilo’s the night before our hike. If I did it again, I would probably check in for the hike there and then stay in town.

The problem is they had already charged my credit card. I called them and left multiple messages asking to be refunded and they have not called me back nor refunded my money.

The beds are comfortable, they provided free toiletries and everything in the room worked. They have a restaurant a mile away that had veggie burgers. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
• Kathleen (6/5): Noisey - Very old and noisy. Neighbors making noise til midnite and back up at 4am making noise to go hiking I guess. Continental breakfast ok but no one stocked napkins and silverware.
• Jason (10/5): - It was a great place to stay the night before hiking into Havasupai in July. Everyone has to stop here to check in for the hike anyway, so might as well make it extra convenient and sleep here, too! We are a family of 6, so we stayed in one of the 2-bedroom mobile homes. It was perfect. It had a refrigerator and freezer which was great to freeze a few water bottles before hiking. Cold water to drink would be such a luxury over the next few days. The air conditioner was only in the main room though, so the bedrooms were a little stuffy. If we had planned ahead better, we would have used the kitchen to make dinner instead of eating at the mediocre restaurant on site. All in all, we would stay here again for the same purpose.
• Patricia (10/5): - The only reason to stay here is the night before you hike in to havasupai. There isn’t much else for miles. That being said the rooms are actually very comfortable, bathrooms were clean, nice toiletries and the front desk staff was incredibly nice! They have a little shop with food, drinks, snacks and a few last minute things you might need for your trip. Everything was reasonably priced and location is excellent to the road to supai trailhead.
• William (4/5): - If you just want to check in, stop driving, get a quick night sleep, wake up early and drive to havasupai trail head parking lot, this place is fine. Water seems to be problem. Last year water pump broke and was fixed by the time we arrived in late Aug. went again this time in mid Aug the property also had no water. If you’re willing to spend a little more, drive a bit more, consider the hotel in Hualapai. There are more amenities there
• Blessilda (8/5): - The people here are friendly and accommodating. I had to change my plans to come back up from the campgrounds a day early, and was going to arrive around midnight. I made the changes when I got to Supai before I finish my hike to hilltop. They were able to accommodate the request without penalty. They were quite organized. The breakfast ladies are chill and easy going. Rm 20 may need the toilet pumped out, since it wasnt flushing properly, but I'm sure it's an easy fix. The hairdryer in Rm 34 is toasted. I forgot to tell them on my way out. These are little hiccups but no big deal.Nice folks!

• Jennifer (2/5): - We checked into the inn knowing that it was nothing special. We were staying one night before hiking into Havasupai Falls. AFTER we were checked in and went to our room, we found that there was no running water which rendered the bathroom unusable. No one at check in thought to mention the water issue which was frustrating to say the least. We drove to Peach Springs for dinner and found that there was a hotel on the diner we ate at. We ended up booking a room there and moving our stuff to that hotel. I wasn’t aware that there was another hotel close by the trailhead otherwise I would’ve stayed clear of the inn.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Fine if you’re staying just to sleep - The room was clean, the beds were fine, parking was right out front of the room. The TV did not turn on and neither did the one overhead light (lamps worked). The biggest issue was that there was NO water and they didn’t mention that to us at check in. When we told them about it, they just said oh ok which room, and then did nothing about it. So we had no shower, no sink, and no flushing toilet. The restaurant was also closed, I’m assuming also due to the water situation.

• Norris (10/5): - From the first interaction checking in... the woman was friendly and helpful. This is an older place but maintained and updated quite nicely! A restaurant is down the road on the side of hotel about a mile down- cute and very rustic... in a classy way! Had cheeseburgers and they were EXCELLENT! The woman working was friendly and personable.... def recommend! The room was pretty big (2 queen) brick walls so no neighbor noise! microwave, fridge, kuerig, tv, ac... clean and decently comfy beds and linens. Lits of things to do here... pool area is nice... open until 10. Store has a lot of stuff for its type . Continental bfast didn’t disappoint... a lot of options beyond the average hotel! Only opportunity i saw was the water pressure was a bit low.... but thats the only nit-pic thing i could find here! Thanks for a great stay!

• Ian (10/5): - This is a motel you go to when you're hiking to havasupai and need something close. Almost every traveler at this hotel was packing up and leaving at 1am to beat the heat. It was a motel but it serves the exact purpose you need it to when heading onto the reservation. the pool was dirty and the bed was stiff but the food was great and it was exactly what we were expecting. If you're going to hike havasupai this is where you should stay.

Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. Also after our 4 day hike we were able to stop there again and take a shower for only $5. • leticia (8/5): Grand Canyon caverns - It was a great stay , it’s an older hotel but it’s very classic retro and cute has a lot of cool stuff and old cars and dinosaurs. Many good Instagram photos were taken. Could use new bedding but was clean. Better then expected before our Havasupai trip!

• Gerald (8/5): Doable for a stop over to somewhere else. - We appreciated that we had this place to stay, since we were only coming up for a funeral nearby. The room was okay, but could have been cleaner still. Hair in the bathtub, mouse droppings in the bathroom, and a pile of cheez its that we found between the adjoining room door. Staff was friendly, pool was okay, and breakfast in the front room was very nice. Good stop over for so many that are heading to the Grand Canyon.

• Eryn (10/5): - Room was great for the price, front desk staff were friendly and accommodating and front store had many needed items. The room did have many bees inside of it, which thankfully I’m not allergic or scared of and was able to capture and release them outside, but they did continue to keep coming in through somewhere in the bathroom and I would find dying bees on the bathroom sink counter, which was not ideal. Overall though I’d still stay here again.
• Jennifer (8/5): - I stayed here before hiking to Havasu Falls much like most of the other guests staying there. My room was clean and ready when I got there but other people I was with had to wait awhile for their rooms. The front desk was very busy but they did their best getting everyone taken care of. You could definitely hear your neighboring room but everyone seemed to be turning in for an early night to get going on the hike thankfully.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Basic and convenient - Well this hotel is well located for hiking into Havasu Canyon. The biggest challenges were that the water took forever to warm up and the bed sheet had a plastic underliner which made sleeping rather sweaty.

• Kelly Anne (8/5): Good for Havasupai - Great place to stay before hiking/after Havasupai. It was close and convenient. Not the most up-to-date or cleanest hotel but had some breakfast we could take with us. Offered us a place to shower after hiking before we could check into our room which was nice.
• H (6/5): - There are not a lot of options or places to say before you hike down into Supai. This what? So Was the option we chose. The staff checks people in all day every day, and you could tell that this was definitely a job and not one that they necessarily enjoy. The check was robotic in the hotel and in. Supp registration Area. It is a dry desert. The room has a plug-in heater. The walls are thin in the water is teed at best when I was there was planning on taking a shower before hiking down and decided not to. It works though to stay the night and be closer to the Supai parking lot.

• Robert (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. This hotel feels like going back in time. It is a charming motel that represents times gone by. It felt like we stepped back into time to the 50’s. The staff were terrific! We enjoyed getting to know the manager Roxanne and Reggie with his contagious smile was heart warming. It was a perfect setting preparing us for our journey to Havasupai.
• Barbara (4/5): - We only stayed here out of convenience before and after our hike to Havasupai. We wish we stayed elsewhere after our trip but wasn’t sure how tired we’d be to drive extra. The place is very limited with what it has. I thought we’d have a microwave and fridge but it turns out we did not so a lot of food had to go to waste we got for the night. The caverns are closed because the elevator is broken. The room is super basic but you can’t expect much.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - I get poor WiFi but having our electricity go out in both rooms was unexceptable . Shame no resolution
• KAy (8/5): Gift on Rt 66 - An oasis on a long stretch of Highway with no services. Checkin cordial and efficient. Room clean and comfortable bed. The only glitch was heating unit that could barely keep up with temperature in 30s. Grateful for opportunity to stay there

• Janet (4/5): - On the hotel site what was said about Grand Canyon Caverns Inn was not accurate! When I arrived and I asked about when I could visit the caverns and the clerk said they had been closed for 1 1/2 years due to needing a new elevator I was very surprised and upset! And I asked why did you guys advertise about the cavern's if they were closed and more specifically, closed for 1 1/2 years. Then I showed her the pictures from their site and asked about the waterfalls pictured. The clerk said that the waterfalls was an 8 mile hike. I commented then why not mention that on your site? I feel that it was completely inappropriate to list things to do in the area and not mentioning that the 1) caverns were closed and could not be toured and 2) to see the falls it would be an 8 mile hike. The clerk said I could go to the cavern gift shop and see pictures of it.. no…. I want to actually see them and do the tour as they had described on their site. My issue is that I drove 2 hours out of my way to see the caverns and the falls just to arrive and the told the caverns were closed (for 1 1/2 years) and waterfalls a long hike. Very very disappointed in the description of things to do near the property! Not acceptable! Misrepresentation of facts to the customer! ESPECIALLY CONCERNING THE CAVERNS! They even had the cavern tour listed on their handout given to the customer when they arrived. Not right, take it off the handout and the website of it is not working and can’t be accessed!
• Rachel (2/5): - You couldn’t get WiFi in the room unless you stood by the door and the remote for the tv watch missing. The shower gave you barely warm water and if the room next to you flushed the toilet or was using the water at the same time, the water was cold for at least a few minutes until going back to barely warm at all.

• Sandie (8/5): Its fine if your not picky - We stayed here before our havasupai hike. The positives were it was near hilltop and it was clean. The service was friendly and the restaurant behind was really good and friendly. You can plug in EV next to restaurant to charge as you ate. The linoeum is horrid in the bathroom, half the outlets dont work and the faucet continously drips. Water pressure is low and wifi is sporadic. Overall it is ok for prehike but in no way fancy.

• Arlene (10/5): - Check in took a while. I emailed ahead to let them know I'd be a late check in and they verified my reservation and told me to ring the bell. When I showed up they had a hard time finding my reservation and initially had us waiting out in the cold; They did eventually let us come inside while they figured it out. Once that was sorted it was all fine. It's a really convenient place to stay before hiking Havasupai. The room was clean and all the staff we encountered were really nice.

• Lisa (6/5): - Needs updated furniture, bedspread, and there were very few electrical plugs available. One was behind a built in desk.

• Donna (10/5): - We hiked to Havasupai Falls and stayed at GCCI before and after. The motel was clean and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.
• Robert (6/5): - Pro: check-in point for havasupai hike so most convenient if you are doing that. Cons: rundown, minimal or no amenities. I suspect havasupai backpackers provide a level of business that allows them to operate without providing typical service. Stay in Seligman!
