• Michelle (3/5): I would not stay here again. - The staff was very nice. Both in the evening and in the morning. I assume this is a family owned property. The neighborhood is very sketchy and the room was awful. Old, torn up furniture, lots of damage to walls and baseboards, and missing tiles on the bathroom floor.

Der Filter der Heizung müsste dringend gereinigt werden. Weil wir die Heizung über Nacht nicht haben laufen lassen, war es ungemütlich kühl im Raum

• Tyler (2/5): - The entire hotel was disgusting. The room was renter specialed and dirty. The worst part of the entire experience wasn’t even these problems, it was the fact that the door to our room was a HALLOW residential door. This is totally unsafe for a hotel, it would take a total of one shoulder bump to force entry into the room. As a mother traveling alone with her small child, there’s no way I was going to be sleeping in that room. They refused to refund even a portion of my money, their reasoning was “there is no crime in this city”….. it was cheap, but even this surpasses you get what you paid for. I went down to the motel 6 and it was WAY better than Rodeway Inn. 0/10!!!!!!

Only positive is the young man working the front desk was very accommodating when the A/C in our room was real loud. He quickly gave us another room. The room was bigger but the bed was awful.

• Thomas (9/5): Highly recommend, especialy for individuals on a tighter travel budget. - Location was convenient to interstate. Staff was very friendly, courtious and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, exceeding my expectations (cheese omelette, sausage, sausage gravy with biscuits, juice, fruit, coffee). Room was very clean and decor nice, though a bit dated. Maintenance appeared excellent. Bed was very comfortable.

• Danny (3/5): Poor - Staff was very nice. Old, overcharged for room. Couldn't possibly have been a Roadway. More like a motel 6. Motel being renovated. Towel holder fell off the wall, No hot water the next morning, and if there was breakfast, I did not see it. Way overpriced.

Similarly and more problematically, the window curtain was smaller than the window it was supposed to cover. For this reason, some part of the room would always be visible to the outside. Because I was on the second floor, this was not a major problem but it was unwelcome.

• Sheldon (2/5): - DON'T let the photos fool you. This is the second worst motel I've ever stayed in. The clerk was very friendly and helpful but the room stunk, there was hair in the tub and the bed was horrible. The only good aspects were that it was quiet and location.
• Kody (9/5): Superb - The room had all new furniture and faintly smelled of fresh paint. Looks like new laminate floors so I know everything was bug free. The bathtub was showing its age but was clean and the toilet and sink seemed new. The ac was an older model without precise control but put out plenty of cold air and wasn't very loud. Parking was a little weird because of the location but not too bad.

The room was really clean and smelled clean, which is rare for older hotels. You can hear the railroad because you can hear the railroad everywhere in Sydney. No fault of the hotel, just the fact of life in a town where the railroad runs through.

• Marvin E (2/5): - Very rude owner. Paid in full through Expedia. When I arrived he asked about pets and I explained I had 3 Chihuahua's and was told it would be an additional 75.00. I told him that Expedia said it was pet friendly. He proceeded to tell me he doesn't get hardly any money when people use Expedia so he has to get money as he can. I also looked at a room and it was not what was stated it would be. I was told the TV wasn't working because he was rewiring it on the roof due to water leak. When I said something about it he stated "I DON'T WANT SOMEONE HERE WHO QUESTIONS THE WAY THINGS ARE. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT LEAVE ". We did not stay and went to another hotel. This is the worst place I have ever seen. I highly recommend not staying there.

We looked at a few other hotels but chose this one because the price was good and breakfast was included. We checked in and when my husband asked if breakfast was at the same place as before, he was told there were only two rooms rented so there would be no breakfast. What?? A hard-boiled egg and a banana would have been enough. DON'T advertize "breakfast included" if it's NOT.

The bed was a rock, the room smelled funny, dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom. I was so tired after driving in rough weather for 10+ hours I would have left...should have left and just slept in my car at the gas station. I never leave bad reviews unless it was truly bad...It was just surprising because I've had good stays at Rodeway Inns in the past.

However, the wallpaper had water spots from prior leaks. There was a refrigerator and microwave, but no in-room coffee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, the room was comfortable, the price was excellent, but the room was dated, and could have used some upgrading. I recommend this hotel if you are in Sidney.

Air conditioner was very loud. Very disappointed. My account was used without any chance of cancelling and could not. Will never stay in that or any roadhouse hotel again.
