• Pam (9/5): A silent peaceful happy place 🥰 - I stayed with my family the night before my flight as it was close to the airport. We all loved the lay out with a traditional open air communal space in the centre . My little Granddaughter loved it ,we all did. The en suite bathroom was beautiful and luxurious. The beds and bedding pristine and comfortable. I loved the pool area ,there have been comments that the pool was too deep but for me it was great to have a proper swim . The vibe was a mix of traditional and minimalist which worked very well . The villa was completely silent other than from the sound of the birds ,this was heaven after a month of dogs ,bikes ,building works. The lovely young man on reception was very helpful .He allowed us a late check out free of charge and made sure we had everything we needed. I had paid for breakfast which was amazing . Another lovely young man knocked quietly and within minutes had set up our breakfast table with fresh fruit ,juice ,coffee and our chosen options .Breakfast was very good value for what we had . I will be returning to Bali in 6 months and intend to book The Decks again . A big Thankyou to the staff there who were absolutely first class . The pool area and decking needs some maintenance there are a few chipped tiles and the decking is old and a bit splintery . The pool itself could have done with a bit of a clean . These were not major problems for me but if you had a couple of small children then I could see it wouldn’t be ideal . This would not stop me from returning.

Beautifully appointed throughout, very luxurious. I'm am deeply impressed. This is the best value for money stay I have had in Bali. Some more attention to detail required on cleanliness. I found a faeces soiled pair of underwear from a previous guest behind the bath and a dirty ear bud outside by the pool area. I removed both to the bin. Other than this the place was immaculate. The pool itself could use a good vacuum but is otherwise lovely.

• Michelle (8/5): Beautiful, clean, alfresco living with a private pool. - There was an actual real person to meet us and give us the keys and show us our room. It was fantastic to have some human contact and know there was someone around to help us if we needed it. The 2 bedroom suite had to king beds with ensuites and air-conditioning, and the central part of the space was essentially an outdoor lounge/dining room with a private pool. It was really well appointed, spacious, clean and nicely decorated. I was not expecting the lounge area to be outside and not airconditioned, but that was my fault as I booked quickly and didn't read the details properly. We only stayed 1 night so it was not an issue, but if we had been there for much longer I would have liked the lounge area to be inside for bugs etc.

• Alison (10/5): - This is a truly blissful place to stay. The villa was very spacious for the two of us. The pool was stunning and we spent much of our time there. The staff were lovely. The area around has a convenience store and a fabulous Cafe next door with THE best coffee! We went there daily for breakfast. Dinner looks good too. It is not too far to walk until you're right in the heart of Legian or the beach or easily hop a Grab for around AU$2-4, depending on distance. They have lovely inclusions like a refrigerated water unit and music with Alexa. Fantastic stay!

• Michaela (8/5): Would recommend - Property was nice and private, You walk through reception to get in and out, on all sides are other villas managed by The Decks. Covered but outdoor kitchen/ dining table which was a little bit of a pest for mozzies but there was insect spray provided and we made sure to keep our bedrooms and bathroom doors closed at all times. Staff were accomodating and very lovely they helped us organise a driver to the airport at 4am to catch our early flight. Also the location was good not too busy but not too far from everything also, great massage place around the corner only a 5min walk

Walk out the front door and it felt like we were off the beaten track. But walk for 5 minutes and we’re in the middle of it all. The staff, in particular Tom, were absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was so good and it set us up for the day ahead. Our bed was very hard but a lot of people like that. It really didn’t bother us and we slept very well.

• Lisa (8/5): Very good - I felt like the accommodation lived up to Bali expectations, the facilities were mostly clean and I loved that we had a two bedroom family suite which actually kept my teenagers out of my pocket. Nice touch for the "hey google" thing that plays music. The aircon was nice and cold, and I tell you what, the bed and pillows - perfect. Though, for the most part, it was pretty good, I was sad about the location, not really knowing my way around I made my selection based on proximity to town centre and beach, it really wasn't easy to get to the shops or beach. It was only a couple of dollars in a taxi, but being an unused road on the outskirts, wasn't easy just to get a cab. I must say the staff at reception helped us with that and ordered us transport when we were stuck. There was some staining to the sheets, but I could tell it was actually clean. Room cleaning occurred but only when you confirmed you wanted it, I had sort of expected it was daily irrespective.

• Denise (9/5): The Decks is great - The Villa is in a quiet location. The rooms were spacious and we loved the pool. My husband ordered flowers and fresh fruit for my birthday and it exceeded our expectations. Mini mart down the road and cafe at AB1A next door was nice as was the Prince cafe a bit further down the road. We used gojek (car) for longer trips or if we didn't feel like walking but otherwise it was a pretty easy walk to the shops and beach. Could be a bit harder if you had little kids. We also arranged to have some washing done. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. They also arranged a driver for transport to and from the airport.

Unlimited chilled mineral water on tap. Good ground coffee supplied daily. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi. No in room instructions for tv etc. Could do with some literature on local area but that’s just trying to find fault on a great place.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem. Would stay here again. Would have been nice to have another sofa in the lounge area, as 3 adults we did not all fit other one. Otherwise everything was good.

• Michael (9/5): Great private Villa close to Legian Beach. - Very nice Villa with private pool. We had a 2 BR villa and where very happy with it. The staff is super friendly, the location just a few minutes from the beach if you walk the little gang as a shortcut. There is even a nice coffee place for excellent breakfast in the neighborhood. We can highly recommend the Decks.

• Eli (4/5): - We booked this Villa because it had a private pool. Unfortunately the pool water looked like a dirty swamp. We asked for it to be cleaned and the staff attempted to filter the water but there was no improvement. So our kids were extremely disappointed they were unable to swim.

Massages in the room were divine! The daily cleaning was much appreciated too. Such a peaceful retreat from the chaos outside and the staff were helpful and accommodating of every request to make our stay more comfortable. Tiles throughout became very slippery when wet. Location is good, but be aware that there's a kindy next door so it can get noisy with singing in the mornings, which was okay for us as we have a four year old.

Too bad the breakfast options are very limited (only toast n eggs or pancakes during our stay), i can imagine it could be quite boring if we stay longer, maybe more options such as nasi goreng/mie goreng/sandwich/granola etc should be provided, esp for the price we pay.
