- Ross (10/5): Fantastic stay - All members of staff were very friendly. Great-size pool with plenty of shade. Large room, very clean while having beautiful ornate decoration. The hotel has a nice restaurant for which we never struggled to get a seat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, serving tasty food. A short taxi to the airport while being 15 minutes walk maximum to the biggest temples in the city. 5 minutes walk to 7/11 for snacks and drinks and just a bit further to some very nice restaurants. Activities can be booked at reception which was really helpful. The TV in our room didn't seem to be working properly, with only a couple of channels available without static, nor the ability to connect to the internet for streaming... But this was the smallest issue on an amazing stay and was not inconvenient for us.

- José (10/5): Wonderful hotel near the Chiang mai Center - The staff was remarkably kind and helpful. Sky in particular handled my arrival smoothly and made sure all details of my stay in Chiang Mai were always met. Regarding, the set up of the rooms next to the poo gives the hotel a cozy environment where to relax. The public spaces such as the pool are relatively small so the presence of kids can disrupt the atmosphere. I'd recommend disclosing openly that it's not an adult-only hotel
- Lynn (5/5): Good location but not 4 star! - The property is well located in the centre of the old city. Many sites, restaurants and services easily accessible. The rooms were large and the architecture and design replicates traditional design. There is a large pool. The room was advertised as suite which it was not just a big room. The jacuzzi bath did not work. The staff were indifferent except the woman selling tours. The loungers around the pool need mattresses as they are not comfortable

- Sina-Maria (9/5): Traditionell - Die Bauart mit Innenhof und Pool. Dort konnte man sich vor der Sonne zurückziehen und hatte ein stilles Örtchen mitten in der Stadt. Das Hotel ist komplett aus Holz gebaut sehr schön verschaukelt, was es sehr gemütlich macht. Alles sehr sauber und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben hier auch eine Tour gebucht. Das hat alles super geklappt. Eine absolute Empfehlung. außerdem liegt das Hotel in einer hervorragenden Lage. Alle alle Märkte sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. (maximal 30 Minuten zu Fuß) Der Whirlpool als Badewanne im Zimmer ist aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen und dem Pool im Innenhof nicht notwendig. Auf dieses kann verzichtet werden.

- Sandra (10/5): Chiang Mai Stay at Pingviman Hotel - The Pingviman Hotel was absolutely beautiful!! Loved the Old World Thai design. The rooms were huge and beds very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Old City. We ended up having to leave early to meet family, but would have loved to stay longer Would have liked to be closer to center of Old Town, but priced accordingly

The breakfast staff made the day start with such joy, the cleaning team were always friendly and ensured everything was perfect, while the reception staff were incredibly friendly and special. Nothing to dislike about the location, staff or the facilities.

The pool is welcome and clean in a pleasant setting. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good and it was no trouble to invite our soon to join us each day. We did have an air con issue which took a couple if days to fix. The explanations got lost in translation on both sides.

- Nory and Kimball (10/5): Truly a wonderful Thai hotel with a POOL! Great staff and lovely room. - What's not to like. Beautiful room, pool and tasty breakfast. It is a traditional Thai styled hotel. Conveniently located and known by TUK-TUK and Grab Drivers. The staff are exceptional very professional, and kind. Needed to convert dollars to baht. They don't offer this service. I also needed to change a 1000 baht to 100, 50 and 20 baht. Was able to do it once but not for the rest of the weekend.

- Felicity (9/5): Welcome to paradise! - The room was absolutely stunning. Loved that i could see out from the bathroom into the bedroom. The spa bath was great after lots of walking. Bed was super comfy. Pool area was good. In a great location, walkable to the centre but lovely and quiet. Hot tubs could do eith a cut off time. Room next to us had theirs on 11pm - 3am every day. Hard to sleep next to. Breakfast should have been covered as a lot of flies. TV in our room didn't work (not a big deal for us but worth noting). Gym could've done with some maintenance and fresh towels.

- Markus (6/5): Der Kurztrip wäre mit einem anderen Hotel besser gewesen - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool Das Bett war viel zu hart, was sich trotz späterem Hinzufügen eines Toppers nicht geändert hat. Die Wände waren viel zu dünn, dass man die Zimmernachbarn beim Flüstern zuhören konnte. Bei der Whirlpoolwanne ist mir gleich zu Beginn eine der Düsen entgegengeflogen und dann war das Wasser in der Wanne und der Dusche immer heiß. Wäre ratsam ab und zu mal eine Inspektion zu machen. Das Frühstück war nicht mal annähernd so wie auf den Bildern.

Nach über 20 h Anreise wäre es toll gewesen das man die Möglichkeit erhält sich umzuziehen und ein wirkliches Erfrischendes Getränk bekommt als 3 Schluck Tee - ist ja nicht jedermanns Sache.

- Jens (10/5): A beautiful hotel with a wonderful atmosphere – highly recommended! - The hotel is beautifully built around a central pool and creates a wonderfully inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated in a traditional Thai style – a real highlight for anyone who appreciates authentic surroundings. During our stay, six new trees were planted around the pool, providing pleasant shade and helping to keep the water refreshingly cool even on the hottest days – a wonderful addition. The fitness room is well-equipped and offers a lovely view of the pool while you work out. Breakfast is excellent, with a generous and varied selection that sets you up perfectly for the day ahead. The location on the edge of the old town is ideal: all the major sights are easily reachable on foot or by bicycle, and a bike rental is conveniently located nearby. The local restaurant scene within walking distance is also well worth exploring. I particularly recommend the Nok Kafe and Miss Ju – both offer authentic local cuisine in a charming setting. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay – we would love to come. Nothing

- Nicolina (10/5): Belle expérience - Deuxième fois que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel et c’est toujours une magnifique expérience. Chambre immense, pareil pour la salle de bain, excellent petit déjeuner varié et copieux, chaque matin il y a des plats thaï différents, le personnel est au petits soins et la piscine est vraiment très agréable après les visites. On a eu droit à une décoration à déposer dans un temple pour Songkran. Et on s’est fait masser deux fois dans un salon de massage proche de l’hôtel (Blue Clover massage). Rien tout était parfait

If you choose not to have your room made up, clean towels etc it would be good to still have water, toilet roll put in your room.
- Thomas (7/5): Fun and quirky, quick to the airport but don’t expect luxury treatment from the staff. - Quirky and fun with huge rooms. Pool wasn’t usable for 1.5 days as they carried out tree surgery. Only told about it when we were on our way. It was too hot to not have a pool for the kids.

- Miki (9/5): Enjoyed our stay - The pool was nice, large bed and comfortable pillows, spacious room. Not a big deal but you cant smoke on your balcony. There is a designated smoking area.

- Florian (9/5): - Das Hotel ist sehr liebevoll im Kolonial Stil eingerichtet. Das Bett war mit 1,8m groß genug. Im Zimmer hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die erste Füllung der Minibar war inklusive, was ich mir bei jedem Hotel wünschen würde. Lage ist am Rande der Altstadt, wobei man Fußläufig gut ins Zentrum kommt, und auch zügig einen Nachtmarkt und einige Bars erreicht,. Weil wir sehr früh ankahmen durften wir Problemlos die Wartezeit am Pool verbringen. Auswahl beim Frühstück ist gut: diverse Säfte, Kuchen, Obst und Gemüse. Mehrere Thaigerichte und eine Eierstation, wo vom Spiegelei bis zum Omlett ziemlich alles zubereitet wurde. Cornflakes und Toast waren auch vertreten. Die Thaigerichte waren geschmacklich nicht auf dem Niveau, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Aber jeder hat auch einen anderen Geschmack. Verhungern muss keiner.

- Paul (7/5): Nice little hotel but slightly far from centre. - Smallish hotel in central chang mai with nice pool and friendly staff. Much of pool area in shade and sun beds rather uncomfortable. 30 min walk or taxi to get to main sights and shopping.

- Wayne (9/5): Lovely traditional Thai hotel - The staff were friendly and efficient and were pleased to help. Would have been nice to have the bar open passed 9pm and hotter water far the shower.

- Malin (10/5): Lovely surprise - Pingviman was a lovely surprise, the room was both large and stylish, with wooden floors and elaborate wood carving decorations. The bathroom was great, feauturing both a large shower and a jacuzzi. Our room was tucked away on the ground floor just by the pool so it was very quiet and private. There is also a balcony and a complentary minibar. Staff were helfpul and friendly. Location is also great, easy access to everything. Breakfast was alright. It was spotless clean.

It was one of the most beautiful rooms we’ve ever stayed in, so characteristic, huge and immaculately clean. The pool was also so quiet and tranquil . Breakfast was great with lots of options hot and cold and the pool/bar food was outstanding especially the spring rolls . Staff were very polite and helpful . Location perfect Absolutely nothing We would 100% recommend

- charlotte (9/5): absolutely amazing - the rooms were absolutely gorgeous and the pool area was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly the key to get in the room was slightly frustrating and the sun beds didn’t get a lot of sunlight due to the hotel layout
